The Furniture Deal Reviews (26)

To whom it may concern, Concerning ID [redacted] did e-sign a contract which offers him a 90 day same as cash price. If he chose to go longer then turns into a lease. This as fully explained to him before he made purchase and we special ordered his product. The Furniture Deal

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/16) */
Contact Name and Title: The Furniture Deal
Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX
Contact Email: [redacted]@aol.com
Was not lied to or tricked into anything. Per contract customer signed and agreed to through Tempoe they had 90 days to pay off product with...

only a 10% additional charge. If it does not get paid within the 90 days it rolls over into a lease option. It was there choice not to pay it off. When customer did call store [redacted] was very rude and threatening. Would not listen to anything we said about referring to contract he read and signed. There was no tricking, fooling, highway robbery, lies, or deception. It is all in black and white. This is simply a case of [redacted] not wanting to pay fees after not paying off within the 90 day term. [redacted] has the contract he signed. Did he supply that contract to Revdex.com so they could see all what The Furniture Deal did was correct.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/02/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Once again, This is not a complaint about the contract. After a more careful review the terms are very clear. We are complaining about what the salesperson told us regarding the terms. WE asked "This says lease, we do not want a lease. Is this a lease?" The salesman responded "No, it is not a lease, this is a purchase." There were four of us there, and we all heard the same thing. This is not a matter of what the contract says, or not wanting to pay, as if that were the case we just would not have paid and therefore have no reason to call ThE FURNITURE DEAL. When I was talking to the manager on the phone about this matter, he was the one who was rude and never denied about what the salesperson said, only that its " A He Said, She Said situation and the salesperson is no longer there. Therefore, this is still a case of misreprentation and deceptive business practices.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2016/03/08) */
I agree it is not ok to lie. That is why before responding to original complaint, I confirmed with previous sales person and the manager on duty that was present at the time of the puchase that it was explained correctly. If there was a misunderstanding, I understand this happens. There was no lies or misleading, possibly a misunderstanding.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 20, 2016/03/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Thank you for agreeing with me, it is not ok to lie. You are doing yourself, your business and customers a disservice to think that they are telling you the truth now. They were/are misleading customers, there is no misunderstanding about how they/ you are conducting your business and your sales tactics.

To whom it may concern, As previously stated we have already taken care of this even though it was not within warranty period. It has a one year warranty and purchase was made 1-21-2015. As you can see by the complaint it was suppose to have taken 2 months to resolve issue. That would be 1 1/2 years past warranty. It was taken care of be-cause [redacted] has been a good customer not because of [redacted]'s rude and idle threats. As previously stated we had tried to go to house earlier but did not receive call back till the following week, which was fine because [redacted] explained he was under the weather. At that time we said we would call when we had another available time. Before we could call [redacted] called yelling and cursing at everyone. Even though we dealt with her rudeness and vulgarity we still went out and repaired the issue free of charge. The Furniture Deal ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:
It shouldn't matter if I am customer or not, however, there are multiple customers of this company who are having the same issues. I was calling on behalf of my father who is disabled. As his caretaker, I have full rights to handle his business. I had been very nice and understanding to the company until it took them over 2 months to handle this complaint and then my father and I became frustrated. Yes, I sent them in to the Revdex.com because of the way the manager was talking to me, cursing, acting childish and didn't want to come out and fix the issue that was under warranty when we first filed a complaint about it. They want to sound like a GREAT company doing us a favor outside of the warranty, but it was in the warranty when it first happened. I have proof of when I first talked to Maria. The company never wanted to come out and fix the couch until I got rude and threatened to get a lawyer and send to the Revdex.com. This company is crap and we will never do business with them again.

To whom it may concern, Adriana made purchase and left a $100 deposit to hold furniture till house was ready. There is no notes referring to holding the check. Why would we hold the furniture for her without some kind of commitment. That makes no sense. No one told her we would refund, we were...

holding her product for her. As you can see by invoice ALL SALES FINAL. We held a lot of product for her for six weeks including floor model product which would have already been sold if it wasn't reserved for Adriana. Thank you, [redacted] The Furniture Deal ###-###-####

To whom it may concern, Regarding ID#1234390, [redacted] is not a customer of The Furniture Deal_ Her father is a customer. [redacted] called in with issue on a sofa. We told him we would come to his house and look at it when we had an opening in the schedule. I called 3 to 4 times on 2 days to...

schedule it when we had time. Did not get a call back till following week. When [redacted] called the following week I again told him we would find an opening and call him. Then [redacted] starts calling yelling at my people and complaining. On the day she is referring to I talked to her explained we would be out as soon as we could. She was rude and cursing so I told her she was not my customer that I would deal with [redacted]_ I did hang up on her when the yelling and cursing got to be to much. I later did talk to [redacted] and once again told him we would come out as soon as possible. The item only has a one year warranty, we still went to house following week and brought item back to store and did a repair and redelivered free of charge. How many companies would do that for their customer and she files a complaint with the Revdex.com after we went out of our way to take care of [redacted]. As to her claim that she is not the only customer that had issues with us, she is not even a customer. After dealing with her l don't want her as a customer The Furniture Deal 2238 S.
