I had a generally good experience with Peterson Dean Roofing and Solar (PDRS) They provided Solar and roofing for our single story ranch home I wanted a single company to provide solar and roofing to simplify any warranty work I received quotes from other companies that did both and by other companies that did individual componentsPDRS happen to be the best price for both roofing and solar [redacted] was our sales coordinator and worked with us to install Solar World Watt panels with Enphase microinverters He was patient and worked with us though the completion of the project [redacted] was our solar coordinator and provided the technical information as part of the project Both were great to work withBelow is a rough timeline of the project/process [redacted] September - Initial Contact and Quote [redacted] October - Solar Site Survey [redacted] December - Roofing was installed [redacted] Late January - Solar was installed You can view our system at: [redacted] My only disappointment was that the installation of the Solar component took longer than anticipated and installation was completed early I was not able to take the Tax Credit in I am hopeful (assuming the current administration does not change the tax code) I still can To be fair, I heard there was a huge demand due to the new administration that potentially caused the delay The stronger rainy season did not help eitherThere was also some minor hiccups, but just enough to not give five stars Overall, I am satisfied with Peterson Dean Roofing and Solar and have recommended them to others

My roof is still under warranty in Castellina subdivision, multiple roof tiles have slipped out of place and the black paper is exposed, I have been calling, leaving messages and emails with [redacted] administrative assistant to warranty operations and she never returns calls - the last response was in November she was looking for paperwork on our home still waiting to get my roof fixedThe phone number [redacted] , her direct line rings and rings and ringsI just need my roof repaired!!!! Started attempting to get my roof repaired over a year agoRespectfully Mike Cicci

Petersen Dean does NOT live up to its warranty The ceiling collapsed...it was a NIGHTMARE! Worst experience ever!!

I have requested my $deposit back from our solar contractCalled [redacted] sales agent on 5/9/She informed me that home electrical panels needed to be upgraded at a cost of $I informed her that I'm cancelling the contract and requesting my deposit backShe stated that will be no problem, and she let the office knowI sent a letter to them on 5/11/stating I'm terminating contractSince then I have called three times about the depositTalk to Kyle on 6/9/and got the run around

I am having a reimbursement problem with this companyI was told I would get my pg&e bill paid in full for the inconvenience of not passing pg&e final inspection twiceI was told to email a copy of my bill to [redacted] Stewart which I didMy reimbursement did not arrive until I contacted Mandy StoddardWhen it finally arrived it was not the full amount of my billI made more than one attempt to contact Raymond Torres who is the operations manager by email and voice mail with no successI re contacted Mandy and was told by her that Raymond would return my callThis has been going on for months with no successThey don't seem to care about customer service and now I am afraid that I am in contract with a company that doesn't provide good customer serviceNobody is making an effort to contact me back about this problem

I have requested my $deposit back from our solar contractCalled *** *** sales agent on 5/9/She informed me that home electrical panels needed to be upgraded at a cost of $I informed her that I'm cancelling the contract and requesting my deposit backShe stated that will be no problem, and she let the office knowI sent a letter to them on 5/11/stating I'm terminating contractSince then I have called three times about the depositTalk to Kyle on 6/9/and got the run around

On *** 3, *** I noticed that my car, which had been parked on my driveway, had a flat tireI suspected it was due to nails that were part of continuous falling debris from a roofing project being conducted next door to my houseFor several days prior to *** 3, signficant amounts of debris containing roofing shingles, nails, and other items had been fallening into our backyard and onto our driveway, at times while my dog and children were playing in the backyardMy wife and I repeatedly requested that the debris be cleaned upDespite those requests, I ended up cleaning up the debris each dayWhen I noticed the flat tire on *** 3rd, I immediately spoke to the supervisor on the job, Bob LiconHe apologized, had the crew immediately clean up the debris, and told me to have my car inspected and that his company would pay for the full cost of the repairI immediately took my car to *** *** in *** ***They found two nails which matched the nails from the roofing

Incomplete job to the extent that we are now concerned about future leaks in our roofThe crew was hard on the roof, dropping heavy items, stomping around, working with incorrect tools and cracking/breaking tilesThe expectation to be paid in full without the job being completedNo response to our call to find out why it hasn't been completedSomething we didn't address that we should have at the beginning is the mess - screws, nails, small pieces of aluminum, broken pieces of tile that were left on the job site and we have been cleaning upThe inspector signed off on the permit with the expectation that they would fix the issue today and that was on May 11, ***Unable to match the current roofing tile and we agreed to go with something close and they still haven't been back to complete the work

The company installed a year roof in at a price exceeding $12,and the roof has leaked on three separate occasions since installationThe most recent leak appeared a several months ago (August)Numerous calls were made to the local office in an attempt to have someone come out to make repairsThe person responsible for setting appointments at the Houston office (***) never answers the phone as it always goes to voice mailIn addition, it is days or even weeks before she returns a call despite leaving multiple messagesApproximately one month ago an appointment was set and two technicians came out to locate the leak and make repairsThe technicians left the house claiming they were not able to find the leakIt has since rained again and now I have two water stains on the ceiling where there was only one before the service visitI have made over calls to ***'s direct number in an attempt to have the company return and repair the leaky roofMy calls began over

In July of 2017, I called Petersendean to tell them about a leak we were having with our metal roof that Brinkmann(Petersendean Purchased the company) originally installedI spoke with Heather and she sent out Rios to inspect our problemRios told us that yes there was a problem with the instal and it needed to be fixedHeather called and we set up a date of 8/to fix the problemThenHarvey hit and I told Heather that we were ok waiting until they could get to usShe was very graciousI called back after a couple of weeks and was told Heather no longer worked thereYvette called me and told me that they were going to send out someone to inspectI called her back and told her Rios already inspected and we were told it was going to be fixedAt that point, I never heard back and no one would call me back

Petersen Dean does NOT live up to its warranty
The ceiling collapsed...it was a NIGHTMARE!
Worst experience ever!!

Outstanding experience all around Great pricing All equipment was tier stuff....not just "told" it was tier equipment by a commissioned sales guy I checked it all out....they did not lie to meOutstanding warranties and cutting edge technology companies that will make it easy for me to add to my system in the future if I wantGood communication....one small glitch, but they apologize and didn't make the sames mistake a second time They gave me accurate expectations as to how the process would go, and they beat their estimated timeline on each step Clean cut, professional installer that communicated the process well regarding what would happen and made sure I was OK with their building plans on the day of install....I had OK'ed plans electronically a few week before, so no surprises or on-the-spot decisions needed They did all the utility paperwork and called me the day SCE gave granted permission to turn it on....then walked me through what to do System has been on for months now Has met or exceeded the original production estimates that were given to me in the proposal Couldn't be happier My $bill in April became $in May

I bought a solar system from Petersendean Solar in *** ***, it has been working fine until I found an unpleasant surprised mid-year ***On *** 31st, ***, I happen to be moving the recycling bins on one side of the house and I happen to look at the inverter, it had an error code, I took a picture of it and reported it to Petersendean the next dayThey could not decipher the error code so they sent someone to check it outIt turned out that the inverter was broken and it has not been working for a whileI contacted *** to pinpoint the exact date when the system stopped sending credits to the *** grid, they told me it was on *** 24th, ***I was extremely astounded to learn that the system stopped working for so long, and I did not get any type of alert or notification like a beeping noise or a flashing lightI reported to issue to Petersendean and they told me that they would replace the inverter because it was under warrantyThey took their time, the inverter was

Petersen Dean installed a new roof and gutters in approximately They did not connect some of the downspouts to the drainsThe roof has leaked for many yearsDuring the warranty period he sent two people out to "fix" the leak, but the third and most recent person admitted that there are significant issues with the installation of my roofI have dry rot that needs to be fixed because they did not properly flash some of the roofI have interior damageOnce they realized that they had issues, they stopped responding to meI paid for a new roof and I ended up with more rot and leaks than I had beforeIn addition, it took many months from the time I signed the contract until the roof was installedSo not only did I end up with a crap installation, but I don't even have the shingles that I contracted forThe entire experience has been horrible

My roof replacement was started on Aug and it took them months to complete but did not do it rightFrom the beginning I was in contact with my sales representative and the project coordinator and they are of no helpThe wrong nails were used and even the inspector said it was the wrong nails but I was assured that it’s covered by warranty so it will be taken cared ofThe workmanship is the worst and the sales rep knew my roof was old but it did not leak until they replaced itI was redoing my house that was the main reason, I thought I should replace my roof to go with the look but it was a mistakeNow that the roof kept leaking, I was being ignored and was still waiting for them to put me on the schedule when I there’s already bubbling noted on my new ceilingIt needed to be redone the right wayAnd again my e mails and calls were being ignored

I'm a Cas well as general contractor so when I began looking for someone to install solar for my own home, I already knew what I was looking forI really liked Petersen Dean because they had the best price for the best product and because, like me, they didn't send out high pressure salesman nor did they even need to come on site to give me a price (I've still never met my salesman)Instead of wasting time with all that, they simply gave me a price, which was way lower than all the other quotes (who had all sent out high-pressure salesmen and had to make enough money on the installation to cover the cost of those salesmen)I recommend Petersen Dean to all my customers because their no-nonsense, honest approach was an absolute breath of fresh air

After doing my research on solarwe decided to go with *** ***We were told the true up bill annually is typically a couple hundred dollars since the company does such a good job with production/usage analystsWe have had problems from the first month with our solar system not producing in the peak of summer monthsBottom line after about call outs to find the problem they determined the main panel they installed was faultyNow I have a true up bill for over $ 2,I was told it would be taken care of and they would submit a check to pay Pg&e for the true up billNow Over calls to company we were told they aren’t compensating for the loss of solar productionExtremely disappointed in the customer service and not honoring there word

We contracted and paid in full for a roof replacement in September of Despite repeated requests we still have not received any of the warranty information that was promised

I'm very happy with my decision to go with Petersen Dean for my solar panelsFrom start to finish, the whole process was easy and stress freeIt's nice having solar panels because I don't have to worry about running my AC or heater all day without having to pay an arm and leg for my electric billMy husband and I worked with *** *** and he's just awesome*** is professional, very knowledgable, extremely responsive, and overall pleasant to work withWe were so impressed with him that we recommended him to our family and friendsIn addition, we got two $Visa gift cards for referring my sisters and we received them shortly after my sisters' solar panels were installed!
I highly recommend getting in contact with *** for your solar panel needs! He will make the whole process a breeze and you'll be happy!

I am having a reimbursement problem with this companyI was told I would get my pg&e bill paid in full for the inconvenience of not passing pg&e final inspection twiceI was told to email a copy of my bill to *** Stewart which I didMy reimbursement did not arrive until I contacted Mandy StoddardWhen it finally arrived it was not the full amount of my billI made more than one attempt to contact Raymond Torres who is the operations manager by email and voice mail with no successI re contacted Mandy and was told by her that Raymond would return my callThis has been going on for months with no successThey don't seem to care about customer service and now I am afraid that I am in contract with a company that doesn't provide good customer serviceNobody is making an effort to contact me back about this problem
