Dear Sirs: We are at the beginning of this Membership! She enrolled on 12/23/We must complete her Membership within yearsThere is no possible way this Member can come to this conclusion when she has not met all her referrals yetWe are confident that her first referral that we processed and sent her is the type of person she came to us for! I am truly disgusted and disgusted with this organization. I have tried several times to get at least half my money back, but was told you could only do that three days after you sign the contract. Interesting since I didn't have my first match,until a month after I signed up and I don't even recall signing the contract! Yes, Dana is very persuasive and I trusted her. Again, she told me, too, she had a good match for me, but that never materialized. The first "match" was anything but a match. We had nothing in common. I had to beg for another, so they picked someone out of a hat. Hans was nice, but I doubt we will ever see each other , again. The last "match" knew nothing about the referral, said he had cancelled his membership and gotten his money back! I really just want to get at least some of my $2200 back. This whole situation has been a disaster. What was I thinking? Oh, yes, I was trusting these people

I was told by my personal advisor at The Ideal Match that this business IS a member of the Revdex.comI believed herI wish I had done my research beforehandThat statement was a flat-out LIE! I talked to my personal advisor several times in the first few days about wanting to cancel my membership (because something just didn't feel right about it)Each time, she convinced me to think about it a little more, and she reassured me that I would be successful with this processShe promised to get me a deep discount of $and told me about some man that she already had lined up as a match for me So with that conversation, the membership costs went from horribly EXORBITANT ($8995) to ridiculously EXPENSIVE ($5995), but I agreed (when I was not in a clear state of mind, after dealing with the aftermath of a suicide, which I had mentioned to my personal advisor)However, my personal advisor made a point of telling me that she would be "with [me] every step of the way." She convinced me that she was personally invested in my success, and pointed out that she rarely requests to work with a specific client after the initial consultationI haven't heard from her since then That promise was one week agoI have yet to see that $credited back to my credit cardAnd the "great match" she told me about left our dinner date 20-minutes after we met last night (November 2016), with ZERO EXPLANATION, aside from "I have to take this call"He stepped out to take that phone call (before our appetizers were served) and NEVER RETURNED! I ended up eating dinner alone(He was also NOT the same age as I had been told by this company! If I wanted to meet someone who doesn't really match his profile description, I could go to any number of online dating sites, and I would have spent A LOT LESS MONEY!) The restaurant absorbed the cost of the meal he ordered At least I can say that the staff at the Brigantine in Escondido was great! They were very attentive and the food was quite good I know The Ideal Match company doesn't guarantee "chemistry " with each match, but I would think that anyone who signs up for this matchmaking service would at least have some basic manners! That was clearly not the case (nor was he a "good communicator" which had been one of the other selling points on this "match") This is totally unacceptable! I did not pay almost $to have my date walk out after just minutes! I now believe that the main purpose of this company asking about credit card balances and available credit in the initial interview is NOT to verify a client's financial stability and creditworthiness before matching them with another client, but to determine how high a price they can charge for their "services" I'm an intelligent and successful womanI feel frustrated and angry that I was duped into spending a huge amount of money (when I was in a highly vulnerable state), and I didn't get anything close to what was promised As I've read through other people's feedback on this company, it infuriates me to know that others paid less than a quarter of what I paid for the same basic "service"This is completely unfair and unethicalEven attorneys don't get this much money for such little service! This company may have some wonderful success stories on its website, but I wonder how many people got bamboozled like I didIt's unethical and dishonestIt's horrible that a company would prey upon successful professionals looking for love in this mannerThere has to be some recourse

We would like to share the details so the Revdex.com can come to a fair and reasonable conclusion in our efforts to provide services to this MemberShe entered into a fully executed contract and enrolled as a Member on May 18, for a referral Trial Membership that must be completed within years
Right above her signature at the bottom of the page, in bold print and in the largest font on the contract is the day rescission period in which to cancel per CA lawThis Member could have taken all the time she needed to read the contract at the office prior to signing in addition to reading the information during the rescission period.There are no refunds after the rescission period except for reasons outlined in the Agreement(Moving, being physically unable to date, or services not being provided in the appropriate time-frame.) This Member actually had additional day to read the material (Sunday.) We do not, and have not sent creditors to harass this MemberShe financed her Membership with a third party who is following up on that contractWe have provided services to this Member, as indicated on the front of the contract including processing her first referral. Additionally, we made an exception for this Member as well only charging her a heavily discounted enrollment fee to cover the cost of enrollment and her referrals were freeAs stated in the Agreement on the front page, “You agree that the Initiation Fee constitutes full consideration for these services, and is payable in full, and earned in full, at the time of your Membership interview.” Services such as interviewing, eligibility screening and qualification, compatibility self-disclosure, evaluation, and profiling, etcare all provided as part of all MembershipsThe first we heard of any cancellation inquiries from her was on 06/01/when she got back from her Puerto Vallarta trip which took place after her day rescission periodIn closing, this Member disputed her credit card charge as well which was settled in our favor for the same reasonWe ask this Member to contact us to go over her Membership before she results to other means of trying to leverage a refundShe has disputed her payment through her bank, written misleading information online on Yelp!, and filed a Revdex.com complaintShe has not taken us up on our offer of sitting down to go over her Membership or even placed a phone call to speak with someone in our office about her options at this pointWe could purchase her financing contract from the third-party company, reduce her Membership level, create a pay-off to decrease her Membership cost, etcbut we would need her to communicate with us to move forward Sincerely, *** *** Manager-Client Services ***

02/17/We have never received her feedback on ***As stipulated in the
contract, (#8B), Member’s are required to send in their written feedback on
every referral which is essential to our success under the Agreement
Furthermore, it is stated in #of the Agreement that a failure to act on a
referral and/or failure to give us feedback on a referral will subject the
Agreement to termination
We made
several attempts to contact Ms***After waiting months for feedback
on ***, we tried several forms of contact and did not hear back from her
Our records indicate that on 06/28/2012, a status letter was sent to which we
got no responseAnother letter was sent on 08/03/sharing with Ms
*** that we have not heard from her but that letter was returned to us due
to her address not being the same as when she enrolledIt is stated in the
Agreement, at #16, that all Members are responsible for any changes in personal
information, such as, (but not limited to) address change, phone number change,
dating exclusively, etcWe did not and do not have another address for her as
of this writingIn addition, on 08/14/2012, we sent her an email and got no
response! After that, we tried again to reach her by mail on 08/29/2012, and
that letter too was returned to usThat letter stated we needed to hear from
her by 09/29/to keep her Membership active
On
09/06/we received a letter from Ms*** stating that she had
relocated to San Jose, and that excluded her from her from a Member and that
she moved times prior to thatPerhaps that is why her mail was returned to
us and why we were not able to locate her
Ms***’s initiation fee
was the total cost of her MembershipThe amount of $was for services rendered at the time of enrollment
(#2A and B of the Agreement.) Her referrals were free and therefore there
is nothing available toward a refundHer enrollment fee was heavily discounted
from our every day pricing which would have left something on the tableWe
would like to add that these type situations are uncomfortable as we are
sensitive to our Members needsAt the same time, our Members must also abide
by their responsibilities as a Member

of The Ideal Match is RHETORIC , which has been the case since day one Clearly,
The Ideal Match does not understand that this complaint is about the fact that
they are unable to provide matches that fit my criteria which was detailed in
the lengthily interview process.
In their response in paragraph of their rebuttal,
they refer to their contract stating ‘as
available’ which was not what they presented to me at my interview They continuously claimed that they had
plenty of matches for me, especially between the Palm Springs and San Diego
area. That covers a vast demographic area
and in months to only have candidates is just plain false
In addition to the above issue of falsely
presenting services that they couldn't provide me, they attempted to match me up with matches that did not met my criteriaWhich is explained as follows:
1st match: A man who was
clearly 5’7” not 5/10”, or above, as requested in my criteria. They should have known that he wasn’t the
height claimed. I later found out that

then responded with the facts and truth to my experience and reality. They can continue to try to change the facts,
but the fact is ‘they are unable to provide me with matches that fit my
criteria as they pretended to offer me
After several months, they gave me a match
the ‘broke the camel’s back. A man who
was still married and separated for years!
NOT ACCEPTABLE period
In their rebuttal, they only included only
the emails they sent to me and failed to include my responses. I have included those email communications to

With regards to their ‘Selective Screening’, a receptionist
employee calls the client with basic information of age, height, physical
build, general occupation, area to live, and children or not. That’s it!
I hired them to screen the prospect according to what I describe in my
criteria. With what little information
the ‘employee’ (not matchmaker)’ gives me is not enough for me to know what the
truth really is. The ‘selective screening’ was presented to me as though the Ideal Match
would do that for me. That is what I
paid them to do. The matches they gave
me were no different than meeting these men in a bar! That is not what I signed up for, nor was it
what I was present to me as to what The Ideal Match would provide me.
In response to paragraph 6, line 2, it is
a statement that they had matched me times and that they could not
reach me. There is no clear evidence that
they made ‘SEVERAL ATTEMPTS’ to contact me as indicated in their response to my
compliant. In fact, it has been me who
has made attempts to remedy the problem, or at least give them the opportunity
to do so
The
Ideal Match has clearly demonstrated that they able to provide me with the
promises they gave me, not only at my initial meeting, but again when I gave
them another chance I am in demand of a full refund of $5000,
based on the facts and evidence that The Ideal Match are unable to provide the
services and falsely presented what they could.

I just read some of the negative reviews posted and I find them very one sided. All seemed to be based on a specific incident or event. This isn’t a good representation of this company. Ideal Match offers clients access to several professional matchmakers to assist you in finding a suitable person to date based on information gleaned from several interviews. They provide clients with referrals for dating. After the introduction, it’s up to the couple to connect the dots and make time to get to know each other and determine compatibility for a personal relationship, or even marriage.
Yes, you pay them a fee when signing up, because you are asking them to provide you with a service. This includes three interviews, filling out a personal preference profile, and a background check before moving forward. The day I signed up, no one pressured me, or promised me that I would find the perfect person or the woman of my dreams. I have been offered coaching sessions, follow up interviews, and a myriad of support services which would have cost me more than my membership if I paid for them separately. I have been very impressed with the professionalism, customer service, and feedback that I have received from Dave, Bryan, Marni, Shyla, and Enza. I will say there have been some challenges, just like anything else in life. I feel very comfortable knowing that the team has vetted my referral before sending it to me, and there are no exaggerated profiles descriptions to read, no outdates pictures to sift through, and I never worry if the person I am taking to lunch or dinner has a felony conviction. When you pay money to join any of the popular on-line dating service you are gambling. The professionals at Ideal Match have provided me with a service that takes the guess work out of dating, and for that I am very grateful.
I recommend this company to anyone getting back in the dating scene; however, before you sign up and pay your fee lose the prejudices that you bring to the table. Forget the bad experiences you had dating on-line, or the failed marriage. Come in with an open heart and mind. Be emotionally intelligent, and be ready to accept both positive and negative feedback. Have fun, meet some great people, laugh, and enjoy yourself. Not everyone is perfect and don’t expect them to be just like you.

Dear Sirs:This note is in response to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. Our efforts are to make this very easy to understand for Ms. [redacted]. She indicates in her response that the Membership she chose, our TRIAL Membership, did not work for her. While we have had clients fall in love with only 1 referral it’s important to note that our TRIAL Membership is a special Membership that is heavily discounted so someone can experience the service. While we have had clients successfully find a relationship with the Trial is does not include the same base 10 introductions as all our other Memberships and other benefits such as screening, events, hold, etc.  We did not choose this Membership for her and she was given an opportunity to make a different selection but chose not to because of the cost. Perhaps now she realizes the value of those other Memberships especially since she absolutely loves the Events we put on and has asked numerous times to attend them but the Trial Membership she chose does not come with that benefit. As a matter of fact, and as previously mentioned, she met a gentleman at an Event we did invite her to. She went out with this gentleman multiple times over a 3 month span. By definition, this was a relationship which we do not guarantee for any Member.We fulfilled our responsibilities per the contract and exceeded them! This Member is not entitled to any refund and we will not provide one since we fulfilled our obligation to her. More referrals than contracted were sent and she was able to attend a few mixers even though her Membership did not include that benefit. The offer she refers to in her complaint is for a heavily discounted RENEWAL fee, less than half of the cost of her first Membership, not an additional fee for what she has already committed to by contract that must be fulfilled. Our offer was very generous. For example, this would be like someone going to a restaurant, ordering and eating their dinner, given a free appetizer, asking for more, and after being told they would have to pay for a second plate of food demanding a refund for what was already eaten. Under normal circumstances in any business, all businesses suggest and highly recommend that their clients come to the office to go over their experience hoping to work out a fair and reasonable solution to whatever it is that the client is unsatisfied with and she refuses to do so. Integrity is important and we strive to maintain that always. Everything with this Member was great until the time came that her Membership was completed and she could not attend Events that she so highly valued and we made her the above stated offer that was more than fair.In closing the VP of Operations tried to step in and was willing to extend the initial Membership, bonus a few referrals to the client (free of charge), or even look at another opportunity to renew at a better rate. There is no possible way this Member can come to this conclusion when she has not met all her referrals yet.
