This business operates using false advertising, misrepresentation, inducement tactics, bait and switch practices, fraudulently represents services offered, and fraudulently contacts customers in order to gain information about any potential proceedings an individual may be pursuing against them. Also, they "sell" their "service packages" based on what they determine your net worth to be. On the same day they sold me a "premium package" for $15,000.00 they also sold the SAME package to another woman for $7,500.00. They refuse to honor the clauses in their contract that would allow an individual to dissolve the agreement.I believe they are also violating the intent and purpose of the California Civil Code 1694.4 Fraud and Inducement Act.

RE: ID # [redacted]Dear Revdex.com,
Ms. [redacted] became a Deluxe Member with us on
10/23/2015. Her Membership contains 10 referrals within a 3-year period as outlined
in the Agreement. As...

of this date [redacted] has been sent 3 introductions. At the
bottom of the contract, directly above Ms. [redacted]’s signature, in bold print, and in LARGER font, we indicate a 3-day rescission period, in which a
client can receive a refund. After the 3-day rescission period we can only
process a refund for reasons indicated in the Agreement such as moving, being
deployed, becoming physically unable to date, or not receiving the contracted
amount of introductions within the time-frame of the Agreement.
Looking over [redacted]’s file there is very positive feedback
from her. Although she did not care for 2 of the 3 referrals so far, we are confused
because she was dating her 2nd referral for almost 2 months! As a
matter of fact she requested going on HOLD for this Member. (HOLD indicates
that the Member wants to continue seeing the introduction exclusively and does
not want us to continue our search for future introductions) Below is her feedback
sent to us via email:
Yes.
(We spoke on the phone)
Yes. (We met) :) !!!!!!!!!!!! The things
I like about [redacted] are; his smile, he is very affectionate (like myself), very
sweet and kind, respectful, he is a gentleman, funny, likes to kiss often,
passionate, he is tall we have great chemistry and I’m attracted to him. The
things that are really important to me in a partner, (that [redacted] lacks) is a man
who has a healthy lifestyle, enjoys exercising on a regular basis and is
somewhat fit. Someone who likes to be active outdoors. Someone who is really
ready to start a serious relationship, someone who has time to WANT to invest
in finding that partner. [redacted] is not a planner. I need someone that that shows
me by his actions that he is an honest person.
Someone that wants to enjoy lots of things together. Someone who wants
to have fun often. HOLD.
I will list excerpt from [redacted]’s emailed feedback report
below:
[redacted]
is very nice.  She and I hit it off great
in the beginning and we were dating up until last week. I let her know about my
schedule and was very, very transparent that I was in charge of a big project.
She no longer wants to see me but we had a great time. Very sweet and nice but
did not like my work schedule.
This clearly indicates that we were very close to what she
is looking for.
The other gentleman that [redacted] met ([redacted]) sent in
feedback after their first meeting.
It
went ok. We met and talked and she is an interesting person. She can be pretty
negative with information. I think she was going through something at the time
we met. We were getting along and then I never heard from her again. I had a
message from her about going hiking but I was in Redondo Beach.[redacted]’s feedback from her date with [redacted] was:
[redacted]
was VERY forward, Very persistent. Wouldn't keep his hands off me. Continued to
try to kiss me even after I said "no" He claimed to be one way and
did the exact opposite??
[redacted] never met with her third introduction, [redacted], due to
the conversations they were having via text. [redacted] sent us some of the text communication
between her and [redacted] and it is a perfect example of why we strongly discourage
texting each other before meeting in person. As certified dating coaches we
have seen that text messages can be interpreted in many different ways and can
end up just as it did in [redacted]’s case. We list our suggestions and rules in
our Dating Do’s and Don’ts and Dating Tips paperwork that every Member receives
at the start of their Membership.
Understanding the nature of our business trying to match
people on an emotional, intellectual, and physical level and all the different
types of personalities involved one can see that it is not easy. While we would
like every Member to fall in love with the person of their dreams in the beginning
it does not always happen that way.
We are confused by her complaint because the facts are
contrary to her written feedback. There are 7 more referrals to go so hopefully
we can fine-tune this for her which is part of the process. We have spoke to
and met with [redacted] to go over her Membership and offered her several benefits,
such as Selective Screening, where she can control her Membership and approve a
referral before we send it which she enjoyed. In addition, we invited her to a
Mixer where she could meet more men which she attended and told us she had a
great time!
We have performed under the Agreement and gone out of our
way to help her. We went over policies and procedures for a better
understanding as well along with dating rules and tips. Although [redacted] has
struggled to follow them so as to not be rude to her referral(s), this had a
direct and negative impact on her Membership. We asked her to make an
adjustment in this area and we are sure that if she complies she will have a
truly great experience moving forward.
In closing, we enjoy servicing Ms. [redacted]’s Membership. We
have shared with her, complimentary, our Selective screening benefit, our PA
(personal approval) benefit and the Event benefit to further assist her. We are
happy to share with her more than she paid for as we have demonstrated. We
invite [redacted] in to the office again to be sure we can stay on track.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

The Ideal Match

I am truly disgusted and disgusted with this organization. I have tried several times to get at least half my money back, but was told you could only do that three days after you sign the contract. Interesting since I didn't have my first match, until a month after I signed up and I don't even recall signing the contract!
Yes, Dana is very persuasive and I trusted her. Again, she told me, too, she had a good match for me, but that never materialized. The first "match" was anything but a match. We had nothing in common. I had to beg for another, so they picked someone out of a hat. Hans was nice, but I doubt we will ever see each other , again. The last "match" knew nothing about the referral, said he had cancelled his membership and gotten his money back!
I really just want to get at least some of my $2200 back. This whole situation has been a disaster. What was I thinking? Oh, yes, I was trusting these people

See attached.

To Whom it May Concern:
Our Member, Ms. [redacted] joined our service on 12/23/2016. Later
that day, after she sent an email...

inquiring about our cancellation process, she
had a conversation with her enrollment counselor and decided that this truly is
what she wants and appreciated our offer of a complimentary makeover added to
her initial Membership selection. She decided to stay on as a client and move
forward with her Membership. (There are multiple email conversations showing
her inquiry into our cancellation policy, her initial request to cancel, and
then her accepting [redacted] offer of added benefits to stay on as a client)
For the next month we had been working on her Membership from
making a referral selection to scheduling her makeover. We processed her
referral and made several attempts to reschedule portions of her makeover
benefits to fit her schedule. Included in several email exchanges was a note to
our VP regarding scheduling of appointments, she requested we send her other
dates that may work for her. We complied only to find out that Ms. [redacted] was in
her busy season at work and asked us to suspend our efforts until May of 2017
after many attempts to reschedule her appointments.
All Members have 3 days to cancel their Membership by CA law.
Since our Member decided to move forward with her Membership after her inquiry
with our enrollment counselor we have performed our responsibilities
effectively and professionally. We are happy to put Ms. [redacted] Membership on
HOLD until May of 2017 as requested and we will reschedule her makeover
benefits at that time. Outside the 3-day rescission period there are limited
reasons a Member may cancel the Membership and receive a partial refund. Those
reasons are a change of address outside of our service area, a military
deployment, a medical issue that prevents a Member from physically being able
to date, and if we do not complete a Membership in the specified time stated in
the Agreement (3-years.) The fact that a Member is busy at work does not meet these
criteria.
In addition to the above I see in [redacted] notes from the initial
interview(s) that there were issues with previous dating services online on both
emotional and financial level. She may be connecting her poor experience in the
past on-line with a successful, legitimate, personal matchmaking firm that
performs a required thorough background check by an accredited investigation
service that has real, quality Members seeking a committed long term
relationship. One of the reasons [redacted] offered to add a makeover if Ms. [redacted] decided to stay on as a client is because she wanted her to start this process
with the best feeling possible. We are confident that if Ms. [redacted] would
communicate with her enrollment counselor or Management we could find a
solution to this issue by either making changes to her Membership or having her
experience the referrals, events, and makeover to see that our service is
exactly what she has been searching for. This is a safe way to meet quality
gentlemen which has not been happening for her in the past.
In conclusion, I will
restate that if Ms. [redacted] would communicate with us either by phone or meeting
with the matching staff we are confident we could resolve this issue.

Dear Ms. [redacted],February 26, 2015RECEIVED MAR 0 9 2015In response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint, we think this is a miscommunication as our facts on this matterdiffer greatly. All Ms. [redacted]'s complaints have been addressed. Please consider our pro-active approachto her Membership as follows:Ms. [redacted] originally enrolled with us on 09/05/2013 for $5995.00 as a VIP Member. On 09/07/2013, amodification to her Membership was made as she felt more comfortable with a $995.00 refund and fewerbenefits on her Membership, making the total $5000.00. Her background check was faxed on 09/05/2013and her Welcome Letter was em ailed to her on 09/1 0/2013 along with a copy of her introduction mailed byUSPS. On 09/06/2013 we received the results of her background check and began the matching process. She received her first referral on 09/24/13 and a second referral on 11/29/13. After the second referral herMembership was placed on hold. In response to the complaint that it took two months for her secondreferral we do not have a scheduled timeframe for referrals to be sent. As indicated in the contract, on thefront page at #3 in large font, we match on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The referral is sent only when itreceives all the necessary approvals. In response to the "horrible customer service and follow up" I will attach a few emails that show differently. There was a vast miscommunication in regard to the feedback survey. In numerous emails Ms. [redacted]states she has to "chase us down". In one of these complaints she was responding to our need feedbackemail letting her know we needed her communication. In the attached emails you will also see that wereached out many times letting her know we had matches for her and that we wanted to service herMembership but there was no return communication. In October 2014 Ms. [redacted] did reach out and agree to a meeting to discuss her Membership. I let herknow that it can be a fine tuning process. If the first 2 referrals missed the mark then we could use sometools in Client Services and with her help find her gentlemen who she felt were more in line with what shewas looking for. A big part of this is SELECTIVE SCREENING where Ms. [redacted] receives a phone call toapprove all referrals, we share all the information we have on a referral and we provide all the informationshe requests in order to make an informed decision. This would put her in full control over who we sendout. I let her know in our meeting that if she wasn't 100% satisfied on any gentleman we presented todecline the referral and it would not count as one of her 15.Prior to Ms. [redacted]'s letter to us on October 20, 2014, and after her 2nd referral on Nov. 29, 2014, we havehad her matched 8 times. Since we couldn't reach her, as indicated by the many letters later mentioned inthis complaint, we put her Membership on HOLD as a courtesy. There have been many missedopportunities because of the lack of communication but we were always ready to move forward and presentadditional matches. In closing, I will list below my last email to Ms. [redacted] to which I have not received a response. In thisemail I agreed to start the conversation on how we could end her Membership in a way that wasreasonable and satisfactory to everyone involved.

[redacted],I just tried calling and left you a voicemail. After our meeting in November I have written many notes on your profile.Because of the way your Membership started and what we discussed in ourmeeting all of your matches are being looked at very closely. We are eventaking the extra step of screening the men thoroughly with your informationto make sure there are no surprises. Our normal practice is to processmatches that we feel are compatible but I have changed this in the hopesmaking your experience a good one. Since our meeting we have picked twomatches for you. One that you declined and the other was declined by thegentleman.Giving this a chance would be going out with a couple referrals. We met midNovember so it has been a little over two months and we have looked at acouple matches. I still stand behind all my previous emails andconversations with you but I am willing to start the discussion of how wecould end your Membership in a way which everyone feels is fair.

I was told by my personal advisor at The Ideal Match that this business IS a member of the Revdex.com. I believed her. I wish I had done my research beforehand.... That statement was a flat-out LIE!

I talked to my personal advisor several times in the first few days about wanting to cancel my membership (because something just didn't feel right about it).... Each time, she convinced me to think about it a little more, and she reassured me that I would be successful with this process. She promised to get me a deep discount of $3000 and told me about some man that she already had lined up as a match for me.

So with that conversation, the membership costs went from horribly EXORBITANT ($8995) to ridiculously EXPENSIVE ($5995), but I agreed (when I was not in a clear state of mind, after dealing with the aftermath of a suicide, which I had mentioned to my personal advisor). However, my personal advisor made a point of telling me that she would be "with [me] every step of the way." She convinced me that she was personally invested in my success, and pointed out that she rarely requests to work with a specific client after the initial consultation. I haven't heard from her since then....

That promise was one week ago. I have yet to see that $3000 credited back to my credit card.... And the "great match" she told me about left our dinner date 20-25 minutes after we met last night (14 November 2016), with ZERO EXPLANATION, aside from "I have to take this call".... He stepped out to take that phone call (before our appetizers were served) and NEVER RETURNED! I ended up eating dinner alone. (He was also NOT the same age as I had been told by this company! If I wanted to meet someone who doesn't really match his profile description, I could go to any number of online dating sites, and I would have spent A LOT LESS MONEY!) The restaurant absorbed the cost of the meal he ordered....

At least I can say that the staff at the Brigantine in Escondido was great! They were very attentive and the food was quite good.

I know The Ideal Match company doesn't guarantee "chemistry " with each match, but I would think that anyone who signs up for this matchmaking service would at least have some basic manners! That was clearly not the case (nor was he a "good communicator" which had been one of the other selling points on this "match")....

This is totally unacceptable! I did not pay almost $9000 to have my date walk out after just 20 minutes! I now believe that the main purpose of this company asking about credit card balances and available credit in the initial interview is NOT to verify a client's financial stability and creditworthiness before matching them with another client, but to determine how high a price they can charge for their "services"....

I'm an intelligent and successful woman. I feel frustrated and angry that I was duped into spending a huge amount of money (when I was in a highly vulnerable state), and I didn't get anything close to what was promised.

As I've read through other people's feedback on this company, it infuriates me to know that others paid less than a quarter of what I paid for the same basic "service".... This is completely unfair and unethical. Even attorneys don't get this much money for such little service!

This company may have some wonderful success stories on its website, but I wonder how many people got bamboozled like I did.... It's unethical and dishonest. It's horrible that a company would prey upon successful professionals looking for love in this manner. There has to be some recourse....

Review: Haven't performed. In finding appropriate dates in a year they are contracted to fins 15 dates in three years. They have confirmed that they Have not presented appropriate dates to me.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $3995

San Diego, CA 92108

Dear [redacted] or Agent,

This is [redacted] from PD. I last received communication from you 6/17/13. In as much as

15 mos. have elapsed since this last communication, and all that I have received from Ideal

Match are periodic news blasts about successful dating, it is now time to move forward on

securing a refund from your organization. As you are aware, the contract amount is $[redacted],

signed June 21, 2012. This was almost 2 ~years ago.

I am very disappointed that this contract I entered into with Ideal Match has been a complete

and utter sham. At contract, your organization agreed to provide a service, "10 introductions

over a three year period," promising to complete criminal background checks on all members. It

has clearly not met its contractual obligation. As of this date, I have had 3 introductions;

# 1 was a self admitted alcoholic, with a DMV history of DUI and subsequent arrest/detention.

#2 never contacted me and #3 was the single father of a young child. I am a grandmother of

three and do not wish to date a father of a young child. This information was clearly stated at

point of contract and acknowledged as noted by Ideal Match employee '[redacted].'

I will be moving forward in lodging a complaint with the state' Revdex.com this

week. I have kept notes from all communications and am prepared to seek civil restitution.

Please have a company representative contact me as soon as possible if there is an opportunity

to resolve this matter without civil proceedings.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tel# [redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: I joined the Ideal Match in November with a payment of $7000 up front to provide me with dating options of professionals. Upon meeting with their Match Maker, [redacted], I let the company know that I had changed my mind, and I'd like a refund. During that visit, I was led to believe that I cannot get a refund because I had passed the five day limit to initiate a refund process. Also I was told that this will be a great experience. After meeting my first match, I noticed they had not paid attention to my requests as to the type of person I would like to meet. I was told, "we are not going to forego a match for you solely because they do not meet your requirements". At this point I asked for a refund for the second time. They asked for another chance to correct their mistakes. I gave the facility another chance. The second match was equally far outside of the requests I had. I was able to discuss these issues with the second "match". He told me that he had very similar experiences and had grievances with one of the employees who had acted like a "bully" during his time with the facility. Again, I asked for a refund and asked the VP of the facility to discuss the case with the owner. Up to now I have been offered more options to continue with the site, but no options to end the contract with a refund. I do not trust this facility to do what they say they are experts in. I would like a refund from the facility because I no longer trust their abilities to do as they said. They do not have the clientele to make proper matches.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back.

Business

Response:

See attached.

Review: I came to Ideal Match to find a relationship. I spent over 3 hours w/[redacted] going over the services offered and completed a personality test. [redacted] assured me that there was a pool of potential matches for me between the Palm Desert and San Diego locations. I signed up for the unlimited matches on September 6, 2013 for $5995. On September 24, I received a referral, [redacted]. After meeting, he was clearly not a match for me. He did not have the attributes that I stated to [redacted]. I immediately contacted [redacted]. She assured me that there were other matches for me. Two months passed with no matches! I called & spoke to [redacted]. He ignored my complaint & stated they were not a dating service. I responded that my intention was to find a relationship, not a date. Coincidentally a few days later I received my second referral. Again, the match was utterly NOT a match for me. He had no motivation, didn’t want to stay in the desert & did not have the economic level that I requested. He was unequivocally not a match for me. It was apparent that he was a token match since I complained. Another 2½ months passed & I received their feedback survey. Their customer service is horrible. There is terrible follow up & zero communication with me. The matchmakers do not really know who I am. In 5 months & I had 2 poor matches. Clearly they were not providing me with what was presented. I had to put it on hold because in March 2014 two very serious personal/family issues came up that needed my attention (they had already put me on hold because I complained.) On October 20, 2014, I contacted client services with a letter explaining my situation. Although I was unhappy with their previous (and lack of) matches; I would try to give them another chance to fulfill their obligation to find a match for me. Over 3 months passed & they sent me ONE candidate who was STILL MARRIED but was ‘separated’. I declined that match. On January 26, 2015, I sent a letter requesting a full refund.Desired Settlement: A full refund and a change to their promises given. Also a change in their customer service.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. In one word my response to the representative

of The Ideal Match is RHETORIC , which has been the case since day one. Clearly,

The Ideal Match does not understand that this complaint is about the fact that

they are unable to provide matches that fit my criteria which was detailed in

the lengthily interview process.

In their response in paragraph 3 of their rebuttal,

they refer to their contract stating ‘as

available’ which was not what they presented to me at my interview. They continuously claimed that they had

plenty of matches for me, especially between the Palm Springs and San Diego

area. That covers a vast demographic area

and in 3 months to only have 2 candidates is just plain false.

In addition to the above issue of falsely

presenting services that they couldn't provide me, they attempted to match me up with matches that did not met my criteria. Which is explained as follows:

1st match: A man who was

clearly 5’7” not 5/10”, or above, as requested in my criteria. They should have known that he wasn’t the

height claimed. I later found out that

he was the janitor of the building that they occupied yet he claimed his was in

the property management business which was not completely correct.

2nd match: A guy with no motivation, didn’t

like living in the desert and did not have the economic level that I requested. I sent them an email, which I have attached.

They responded to with more RHETORIC. I

then responded with the facts and truth to my experience and reality. They can continue to try to change the facts,

but the fact is ‘they are unable to provide me with matches that fit my

criteria as they pretended to offer me.

After several months, they gave me a match

the ‘broke the camel’s back. A man who

was still married and separated for 6 years!

NOT ACCEPTABLE period.

In their rebuttal, they only included only

the emails they sent to me and failed to include my responses. I have included those email communications to

you.

With regards to their ‘Selective Screening’, a receptionist

employee calls the client with basic information of age, height, physical

build, general occupation, area to live, and children or not. That’s it!

I hired them to screen the prospect according to what I describe in my

criteria. With what little information

the ‘employee’ (not matchmaker)’ gives me is not enough for me to know what the

truth really is. The ‘selective screening’ was presented to me as though the Ideal Match

would do that for me. That is what I

paid them to do. The matches they gave

me were no different than meeting these men in a bar! That is not what I signed up for, nor was it

what I was present to me as to what The Ideal Match would provide me.

In response to paragraph 6, line 2, it is

a false statement that they had matched me 8 times and that they could not

reach me. There is no clear evidence that

they made ‘SEVERAL ATTEMPTS’ to contact me as indicated in their response to my

compliant. In fact, it has been me who

has made attempts to remedy the problem, or at least give them the opportunity

to do so.

The

Ideal Match has clearly demonstrated that they able to provide me with the

promises they gave me, not only at my initial meeting, but again when I gave

them another chance. I am in demand of a full refund of $5000,

based on the facts and evidence that The Ideal Match are unable to provide the

services and falsely presented what they could.

Regards,

Review: The sales presentation of this dating service makes it sound much better than using a free dating venue. The match is screened, insuring they are not a criminal, and that they review each potential match to align with what you are seeking, and that there is a large client base; so you think you'll have a better match. This was not the case for whom I was matched up with. Clearly, some of my preferences were completely ignored, and counted as a match... Also, I have not received ANY matches in 6 months! When I spoke with a customer relations person, they told me that there wasn't anyone to match me with... I'm not THAT difficult to match; they simply did not provide adequate service. They make no apology, and say they have 3 years to perform. Now, I am moving out of the area, and cannot use this service at all. My contract says I can be released if there is no facility to provide service within 50. So! I just got off the phone with [redacted], and this is how they release you from contract... My due balance is $1059.49 from my contract. To be released from contract, I have to pay $559.49, and they buy back the contract for services and "forgive" me the remaining balance of $500, and act as if they are doing me a favor. Well, thank you for LETTING me pay you for service I have not received, and cannot use... Not sure what planet they are from, but from my viewpoint, this company is a dog and pony show, with all the cards stacked in their favor. Lesson learned!! I definitely will tell others what I have experienced, and I am not happy.Desired Settlement: This company would be doing consumers justice if they were truly honest about how things progress after the sale is made. I don't think it's fair or ethical to have to pay $559.49 to be released from my contract. They're selling dating matches; it's not like this is a consumable or tangible item... there should be no fees for termination.

Revdex.com,

Review: My complaint is against a dating service called The Ideal Match in San Diego. I signed up in December 2013 after a very hard sell from a sales woman named [redacted]. The first thing she did was ask for my bank information, credit card number, and salary. I was very uncomfortable about this and refused to give it to her at first. She went in and out of the room offering me different deals each time like the worst of a used car salesperson. I did finally sign up because I was eager to start dating. They charged my Discover $1495.00 for 10 dates I was told. I noticed later in a small note on the contract that only 5 dates were contracted, and the other 5 would only come if I signed another contract.I was under the impression that the dates would come soon and that [redacted] would be my direct contact. None of that was true. I had to meet with two other employees first. I had two dates. The second man agreed that we should go out again, then never called. When I contacted the Ideal Match to intervene, [redacted], the client services manager, said they don't do that as part of their service. I expressed my clear desire to be matched with another man, but there have been no more matches. After I signed the contract, I also noticed in small print on the back that those 5 dates could take up to 3 years! No one had told me this before. I have asked for a refund, or even a pro-rated refund, since I am so dissatisfied and felt I was deceived in many aspects of the contract. The company refused.I feel that The Ideal Match took my money, deceived me about the contract details, and then refused to refund me. I feel used and ripped off as a consumer. The match-up dates were not forthcoming as promised.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $1495.00.

In response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint, please consider our pro-active approach to her

Review: In June of 2011 I was given a strong sales pitch by [redacted] of the Palm Springs Office for Ideal Match. After explaining that I was going to be in the city for only 6 months she went on to explain that there were many male member who lived in the Bay area where I lived so the service was not limited to Palm Springs when talking about meeting a match. Based on that information I signed on for a mere $1,495.00 for a three year membership and was promised I would be meeting my first date by that coming weekend. Six weeks later I was introduced to a gentleman and went out with him on two occasions. Unfortunately he was no where near a match. There is no opportunity in this business to look at the profiles of the men leaving you 100% at their mercy. After my six months in the area was up I called to let them know I was now moving back to the Bay area and would look forward to a match there. They proclaimed that there was no office here so no members so I had been completely lied to by [redacted] in order to secure my business. Apparently there was a form to fill out for the next official meeting of a member and although it was told to me that it was sent, I never did receive it. Months passed with absolutely no further contact and when I called again, I was told that my membership would be discontinued because I no longer lived in the area. For a business based on PERSONAL SERVICE, I was mislead from the first moment I entered the office and the hard sell began. What kind of personal dating service is this that costs $1,495.00 to meet ONE member? In my last phone call to them I told that the lack of success was my fault for leaving the area making my membership void and would be removed. He would not hear me through the explanation that I had been given in the first place. Why are crooks like this given a license to steal from the public and get away with it???? Why are they still in the business of robbing innocent people?Desired Settlement: I believe that based on the false information given to me by Ms [redacted], during the sale and the total lack of any kind of service I was given, I am entitled to a compete refund of the original $1,495.00 for a service not received. I had no unrealistic expectations that I would find my soul mate. Instead, there were no 15 opportunities provided to do just as they had both advertised and explained to me during the sell. If they are not punished monetarily, they will continue to steal innocent peoples money with their ongoing scam. Why are they not being punished for false advertisement and misrepresentation? Why are they not being shut down so they cannot steal further?

Case # [redacted]

Dear Ms.

[redacted],

Below you

will see our efforts to reach Ms. [redacted] prior to her Membership

cancellation.

Ms.

[redacted] enrolled on 06/04/2011. On that date we faxed her background check as

well which was received by us from the Investigative Service on 06/06/2011. Her

Welcome Letter was sent on 06/07/2011 and sent her first referral to her, [redacted],

on 08/08/2011. We received her written

feedback on her referral on 10/21/2011.

Ms.

[redacted]’s 2nd referral, [redacted], was processed and sent to her on

02/17/2012. We have never received her feedback on [redacted]. As stipulated in the

contract, (#8B), Member’s are required to send in their written feedback on

every referral which is essential to our success under the Agreement.

Furthermore, it is stated in #5 of the Agreement that a failure to act on a

referral and/or failure to give us feedback on a referral will subject the

Agreement to termination.

We made

several attempts to contact Ms. [redacted]. After waiting 4 months for feedback

on [redacted], we tried several forms of contact and did not hear back from her.

Our records indicate that on 06/28/2012, a status letter was sent to which we

got no response. Another letter was sent on 08/03/2012 sharing with Ms.

[redacted] that we have not heard from her but that letter was returned to us due

to her address not being the same as when she enrolled. It is stated in the

Agreement, at #16, that all Members are responsible for any changes in personal

information, such as, (but not limited to) address change, phone number change,

dating exclusively, etc. We did not and do not have another address for her as

of this writing. In addition, on 08/14/2012, we sent her an email and got no

response! After that, we tried again to reach her by mail on 08/29/2012, and

that letter too was returned to us. That letter stated we needed to hear from

her by 09/29/2012 to keep her Membership active.

On

09/06/2012 we received a letter from Ms. [redacted] stating that she had

relocated to San Jose, and that excluded her from her from a Member and that

she moved 4 times prior to that. Perhaps that is why her mail was returned to

us and why we were not able to locate her.

Ms. [redacted]’s initiation fee

was the total cost of her Membership. The amount of $1495.00 was for services rendered at the time of enrollment

(#2A and B of the Agreement.) Her referrals were free and therefore there

is nothing available toward a refund. Her enrollment fee was heavily discounted

from our every day pricing which would have left something on the table. We

would like to add that these type situations are uncomfortable as we are

sensitive to our Members needs. At the same time, our Members must also abide

by their responsibilities as a Member.

Thank you,

what a waste of time and money, the worst service and match, I don't want to happen to some else, please see other reviews at the Ideal match San Diego and palm desert

be careful with this company, I lost my time and money

very expert until they receive the money, I paid 3995 but 1995 goes to Initiation fee, the way they wrote the membership agreement difficult to win the case,,,, one of them,, "preferences are just preferences" not obligated to find you the Ideal math,,,

1- the person who does the member ship agreement is charming and friendly, she puts pressure and brain washes you as if she will find the perfect much like any one dreams, but her focus is to get you sing the contract, "we much you 99% of the time with the member ship information" the match I got was off the grid, they didn't have even a computer to do the much, to be honest Ok cupid do way better job than my three referrals I got from them

2- once you singe up, you have to beg for a referral, the referral information you get over the phone is a 100 % different than you see the referral in person, the company is dishonest but expert to collect money

they are manipulative , they got easy money of 3995 so please don't be fooled by this company,, use your money some where else

Review: The Ideal Match is involved in unfair practices regarding client satisfaction and in no way comes near satisfying my profile or requests for the expense. Client requests on my part were not honored at all. Also, my cancellation intent was per paragraph 22. In the contract we signed it stated that I will be relocating my primary residence to a location further away than 50 miles and that I am electing to be relieved of any future obligations for payments or services. As you know we discussed during the interview process that my employment circumstances have in past required me to relocate. This is a decision beyond my control and made soley by my employer. In addition, as we discussed, my absence from this location in the past has always been greater than six months which the agreement itself indicates is too long for a good business relationship to remain in limbo. There also seems to be an unfair pricing discrepancy upon many others that have been charged much 'less' for the same services, ALL services of which I feel were my placement to satisfy someone else's membership and not per my requests at all! became apparent early on and even after a long distance call to the company to discuss my profile. It is just a complete sham and such a disappointment especially for the astronomical fees charged. I would have expected as any other consumer so much more in delivery of services we discussed. I believe I should be entitled to a prorated refund of my initial deposit as well.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of UGA Financial Contract and nothing owed. It would be nice to be reimbursed my initial $2,000 I paid in full by check to The Ideal Match. Most absolutely, the cancellation of any obligation to contract with UGA (the financialinstitution) as my contract with the Ideal Match was already cancelled On March 11, 2014.

RE: Complaint # [redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted],

In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint, please consider our pro-active approach to his Membership as follows:

On 05/25, 2010, Mr. [redacted] enrolled as a Member. His background check was faxed on 05/26/10 and his Welcome Letter was emailed to him as well on that date along with a copy mailed by USPS. On 05/28/2010, we received the results of his background check and began the matching process.

Mr. [redacted] was matched and sent a referral on 5/28/2010. We did not receive Mr. [redacted] feedback after his date as required by contract so his Membership remained in a “pending” status. On 06/21/2010 Mr. [redacted] was put on complimentary Military HOLD time.

After 2 years of not hearing from Mr. [redacted], we reached out to him on 06/28/2012 in writing regarding his Membership. The correspondence was returned to us on 07/11/2012. We called Mr. [redacted] at the number on his paperwork. A lady answered the phone stating she has had that number since 2012. Please be advised that #16 of the contract states that it is a Member’s responsibility to contact us with any changes in their Membership. We wrote an email to Mr. [redacted] on 07/11/2012 as follows:

“We here at Client Services are concerned that we have not heard from you, and you have failed to respond to our previous attempts to contact you. We ask that you please advise us of your particular situation. If you would like to keep your Membership active we will need to hear from you. We look forward to serving you. We encourage you to respond to complete your Membership.”

We have tried to contact Mr. [redacted] by the US Postal Service, by phone and by email. We received no indication from Mr. [redacted] that he was interested in a Membership. We do feel it to be extremely unfair and unreasonable that Mr. [redacted] would file a complaint with the Revdex.com when he has made no attempt to contact us as his responsibility as a Member. We would like to invite Mr. [redacted] to the office to sit down and go over his Membership and we will be happy to continue our relationship. If he accepts, we would thoroughly enjoy servicing his Membership!

Please see the attachment reflecting our returned letter and attempted contact email.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Client Services Manager

Review: I joined ideal match, paid $8095.95 for this dating service. paid on November 19th. the service is for 15 matches. I was scheduled to go back a second time to finsh paper work and take photo which took place on november 27th. On that day, which I consider when all paper work is finished, I was approached by another sales associate, dave, who was trying to persuade me to purchase an upgraded package. I listened to the speel but kept telling [redacted] that I was not interested. Finally, I had to end the session because, [redacted] was trying different methods to encourage me to buy an upgraded package. I left that day feeling annoyed because I dont like being hasseled into buying anything. November 27th was a thanksgiving holiday and then the weekend came. On wednesday, dec 4th , I contacted the company, asking for a refund and that refused to give me refund. I technically according to their contract have 3 working days to rescind the contract so wed, dec 4th would be the 3rd day and they are trying to tell me that the day started once payment was recieved on nov 19th. They were willing to take my money that day but all papers were not finalized until Nov 27th meeting.

According to the contract, I will lose $1995.00 for services they provided which incl interviewing, processing, screening, etc. Prior to this day, I have not received one call from the ideal match. No one called and no service was provided as of yet.

I am willing to lose the $1995 but feel I deserve a refund of $6100.95Desired Settlement: Would like refund of $6100.95 ($8095.95-$1995.00 = $6100.95
