Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

There was no written contract with her and I don't want her service. I have that right and I want my money back. If I am not willing to work with her and I don't want her service when I "felt" she was calling me a liar because she didn't receive any of my emails then why should I pay for a service that I dont want to participate and she hasn't done anything for me? All I am asking for is my money back- a contract is not in place and they have done no work for me. I have the right to cancel this and she is refusing to give me back my money when nothing has been done. I didn't sign a contract and I have the right to get out if I want to?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Their answer is disingenuous at best. The emails originated from their domain and are hardly the spontaneous actions by rogue employees. This organization is a known spammer and has not made any serious attempts to reform their practices.
I want a positive guarantee that they will not email me, and that they will take concrete steps to reform their spamming.
Only time will tell whether or not they have performed appropriately.
Furthermore, appending self-promotional verbiage is hardly appropriate. It was sent purely for the purposes of getting their message out to anyone who might read the complaint. I want Revdex.com to strike that portion of their response.

Review: After speaking with the representative and doing more research I discovered this was not the company I was under the impression I was doing business with secondly there are way too many sudden added fees in the back talk I respectfully asked for my money back then I just got more disgusted as I believe this is one of thes who's Who type companies that mimics REAL legitimate companies...

I contacted this company within 24 hours of a debited transaction as this is not the company I thought I was dealing with asking for a full REFUND to my credit card and after looking further into this company they seem to be a scam. I have requested a full refund and let them know they are not authorized to debit any more monies from my account. One person called with an attitude because the number she called on did not have a voicemail other than that they have not honored my REQUEST for a FULL REFUND of my money that is all I want...

[redacted] Jun 30 at 8:37 AM

To

Greetings,

I wrote twice last week to request a refund of $294.95 someone did call me but I am unavailable usually. My phone does not have a voice message as it is used for DV correspondences. Please refund my money back to my account today! I do not wish you speak with anyone and DO NOT send any packages or plaques to me as they will be returned/refused and since I contacted you well within 24 hours there should not no excuse or reason to hold my monies and you are not authorized to debit any other monies from my account. Please email with a response to this email when you have refunded my money. If my money is not refunded promptly I will be contacting both the US and States Attorney Offices to file formal complaints as well as any other legal entity necessary to receive my refund. This is just one of the concerns I have seen from other people who have dealt with your company. This is not the company I thought I was developing a relationship with and I want my money back today. DO NOT call me we have nothing to discuss a simple response to this email once my demands have been met is sufficient. I do not want to take this any further legally but I am prepared to and it will cost both of us a lot more than $294.95 because I will be requesting all monies back plus legal cost and other inconveniences. SO I employ you to give me my money back and we will be done with one another!

Thanking you in advance,

RE: Membership Cancellation

[redacted] Today at 8:08 AM

To

Good Morning,

I left a message with [redacted] this morning; I spoke with her yesterday about membership into your organization. After looking into your association and giving some consideration I have decided not to invest in the membership at this time. I did not want to wait so that you could credit my card the $294.95 you debited from my account just yesterday afternoon. Please let me know when the credit has been processed.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

All I asked was for a returned phone call to verify the request that was left on a voice mail in our office. When I personally retunred your call, I did not leave a detailed message because the number you have on file did not clearly identify that the number was exclusive to you; that was as a courtesy to you and for your privacy. We do not enter any financial file without such verifciation to do so; that is for your protection; we will not handle it any other way. That is a direct relfection of the integrity with which we handle all matters.

For the record, we are in no way associated nor connected with the who's who industry. Our mission, as clearly represented on our site, it to provide meaningful resources to women around the world, You even expressed personal interest in producing a TV show!!

Your credit card has been credited based on the avoidable complaint you have registered against us through the Revdex.com - all you needed to do was to return a phone call.

Kind regards, [redacted].

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

As of right now I have not seen any credit to my account but I will take the company at its word. If the credit does not show up in my account by tomorrow I will be filing a new case. I am not readily available by phone as I stated and my account information is on file already with the company and in response all the company had to do was respond to my email as I requested to inform me of their intention. I thank you for such a quick response and look forward to my refund showing up by tomorrow at the latest which is the normal turn around time for credits with my bank. Again I do thank you for your swift response.

Sincerely,

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

I received a full refund to my account recently as stated by the business. I want to thank the Metropolitan NY Revdex.com for your help in this matter.

Review: After many phone calls which I ignored , up to 3 calls per day, hard on one with disabilities, I finally gave in an answered August **, 2014 and received one of the most hard nosed sales pitches from an [redacted] calling from ###-###-#### stating she represented the International Women's Leadership Association with a special offer. For over an hour I attempted to tell this person that due to multiple disabilites I could not use their services. She said that would be no problem. And then person said membership was $214.95, to stop the calls like an old fool agreed. Companies like this who prey on the elderly and disabled are a disgrace. Then [redacted] said at the end I would be changed each year for the remainder of my life $59.00 yearly. I attempted to cancel at that point to no avail. The money initial $214.95 was deducted before the additional mention of the $59.00 lifetime fees.

I have received nothing, not the promised mailing, nothing.

Next I called an left a message at the number given for member services, ###-###-####, and received a call from a [redacted]. Again I stated I wanted a full refund and to completely disassociate myself from this group. To which she replied no. When I stated that I had received nothing from this group, [redacted] is essence questioned my honesty and asked how I new about it. As a internationally recognized artist, I use the [redacted] service out of Frankfurt to maintain my on line reputation. [redacted] then said all calls were recorded, but mine had not been as I had called to get them to leave me alone and fell for their pressured pitch. I was alerted through [redacted] that not only an error filled profile had been created, but also found a picture taken from an old website had been used, one which was copyrighted by me.

Since then I have emailed [redacted] with one reply from a different email address than she gave me over the phone. The address first given to contact her was [redacted] the reply came from [redacted].

It is now October and am literally sick and tired of sending emails to which there are no replies.

I am requesting a full refund, the profile created by who know whom be taken down and all contact cease.Desired Settlement: After all this time I am requesting a full refund of the $214.95 no later than November **, 2014, the profile be unauthorized profile be permanently deleted, an no further contact from this organization

Type Phone Number Name Date / Time Recording Action Result Length

[redacted]

In response to the complaint of [redacted], I respectfully respond, as follows…

What I am setting out to do is to create the actual timeline, state was is fact and refute the many

allegations made my [redacted]. I will address [redacted]’a claims in the order she stated them…

Above is the phone record of all calls made to [redacted]. She stated that she ignored many calls: please note there were only two completed phone calls to her 8/** and 8/**. This refutes her claims that up to 3 calls were made/day, which she follows by her stating she is a disabled person, a fact we certainly had no knowledge of as we dialed her phone number, nor would it have made a difference. We were actually only dialing her phone number is response to her submitted registration, dated July **, 2014.

[redacted] continues to misrepresent the facts as the phone records clearly show the call that came into our office on the day she elected to become a member was an incoming call. She did not “give-in” , as she states, she responded to the message left for her…further refuting that she ignored our calls.

TheIWLA does not comport itself with hard-nosed sales tactics. We do not cold call. We only speak with those women who have asked us to do so; [redacted] was one of them. Of course, it is also impossible for a woman in New York to coerce a woman in Virginia – or anywhere – to do something she does not want to do. How could that even be alleged?

The actual call between [redacted] and her [redacted] lasted less than one hour. During that time, [redacted] provided a significant amount of information about herself to such detail as to mention she is a member of the [redacted] and [redacted] and that she began to play the piano at the age of 3!

She also spent a good amount of time explaining that she worked in a building where a lingering condition existed that affected her greatly, then went on to say there was an explosion, resulting in her being disabled.

[redacted] failed to mention that full membership at TheIWLA is (was) $747 (at that time) and that because of assorted issues, her [redacted] reworked the programs and made it possible for her to participate for $199. This refutes her “to stop the calls”, she agreed to pay. Remember, SHE CALLED US.

[redacted] accuses TheIWLA of preying on the elderly and disabled. I personally and professionally take great exception to this categorization. Race, religion, political opinion, age, etc., have no place in our mission or in our way of conducting operations.

[redacted]’s next false statement is that she was told she would be charged $59 “for the rest of her life”. The annual administrative fee is always subject to cancellation at the request of the member and instructions to cancel are included in the Welcome Package each member receives. Of course, [redacted] claims not to have received it! It was not returned to us! She also mentioned she had been in Europe…

THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT TO CANCEL AT THAT POINT. [redacted] continues in libelous and slanderous fashion to state that the $199. + 15.95 (S/H) had already been transacted. Not so; actually impossible as the woman with whom she had the conversation has no means by which to transact a financial matter!

We did hear from [redacted] - 1 day short of a full month after she had become a member! She began by stating her disabilities and more than suggested she had been treated as less because of her disability. That was the first time I became aware that she is disabled. By the way, not the first or only member of TheIWLA with disabilities!!

During that conversation she stated we had ruined her international reputation as an artist! I really can offer no other information as I do not understand her comment! Our conversation continued and I told her I needed to review her call (not knowing at that time that she had called us and that, therefore, the call was not recorded.) I told her I would phone her back. She told me I was only able to call her between 2 and 7 P.M. – because she is disabled and I thanked her for educating me on the fact that disabled persons can only be contacted between certain hours. That was son 9/**/14

On 9/**/14, I phone her back during the appropriate hours. It was during this conversation that I told her I had come to learn that she had called us and therefore the call I hoped to review was not recorded It was during this conversation that she asked (and I quote ), “What don’t you ([redacted]) understand about disabled persons?” I responded that I am keenly aware (based on personal experienes)!

I receive a series of redundant e-mails from her. By this time, we had already deleted her profile, as she requested. The refund she requested is not due to her and she acknowledged so in one of her e-mails.

[redacted] goes on to state she received nothing form us. We confirmed via Constant Contact that we had sent her 46 e-mails (information, invitations, announcements, magazine) within the first month alone!

As her complaint states, she uses something called [redacted] out of Frankfurt….not at all familiar with this service! She references a copyrighted picture. During the conversation with her [redacted], as in all of our calls, we ask for a picture and offer to use a picture currently on line.

NOW, I must address what [redacted] implies to be a misrepresentation of who I am. I am [redacted]. I have always used my maiden name in business and go by [redacted]. My business e-mail address is [redacted]. I spend some time traveling an attending meetings outside the office. During those times, my e-mails are forwarded to my personal e-mail address, which is [redacted]. In the interest of time and out of respect for people who need my attention, I often respond from that e-mail address. I am one among millions who do this! To jump to an implication of impropriety is not only false, but hurtful.

TheIWLA works tirelessly to provide meaningful services to women from around the world. [redacted] clearly saw value in those services on August **, 2014 at which time she elected to beocme a member and provided payment. TheIWLA provided all of those services and remained positioned to continue to do so until such time as [redacted] requested to be removed. We honored that request. That does not negate the services provided to create her membership, publish her profile, and open the line of communication that created 46 e-mails within one month. Costs were incurred on her behalf – and with her authorization - to initiate and provide those services. Professionals were paid to be part of that process. She was long past her right to request a refund.

I would very much like to send you the recorded conversations; I believe that would shed a bright light on this matter.

The time taken to address this response is highly disproportionate to her payment of $214.95, for which no profit is realized, but it was necessary to take the time.

I will not be bullied by threats or demands, nor will I dishonor all that TheIWLA represents to women by taking the easy way out.

I am sorry [redacted] chose to delete her files with us, but I honor her right to do so. I send her good wishes and want her to know TheIWLA is here for her, should be chose to reactivate.

Further, TheIWLA would like to make a donation to a recognized charity of [redacted]’s choice that provides services to disabled persons in the amount of $199.

Respectfully,

Consumer

Review: About a month and a half ago I received a phone call from my new [redacted]" from the IWLA. This is my first contact with this organization. Everything this women on the phone said to me sounded 100% scripted, but I listened and became interested. I did not have any time to do research on this organization and felt I was swayed to give money and join right that second on this phone call. I thought it would be okay, and that I would receive what I was promised, when I was promised. I asked if I could get an email confirmation, receipt or something of my payment and membership information. I recall the woman saying they don't do that, but will be sending me a welcome packet in the mail. She told me when to expect it in the mail.

After I had received no welcome packet a week after the expected delivery date, no email confirmations, no membership information, no access to my membership or benefits, I was not happy with this organization. I did some more research about them and learned they are only in New York (a place I never go), and I would not even be able to use many of my member benefits, so I decided that I did not want to be a part of the International Women's Leadership Association because of the way they handled my membership from the start, and didn't think it would be a problem since I received NO confirmation of payment, or any information regarding my membership as promised, even thought my credit card was already charged.

I called the IWLA office and was told to speak with [redacted], but she was busy, and I was told to email her. I did email her. When she returned my call I explained in so many words that basically I did not receive what I was promised in a timely manner and was not happy did not feel comfortable or trusting of this organization because they had already charged my credit card and I received NOTHING. I was informed the welcome packet was mailed, and I confirmed the address, and all she could tell me was that since it wasn't returned to them, that I had to have received it. I still to this day never received anything from this organization, simply just a large amount charged on my credit card.

So I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I got a "courtesy call" today from [redacted] at the IWLA that my credit card company called her and she was going to send them a phone recording of my payment. I again expressed my frustration that she insists on charging me for a membership I never received or accessed, and she basically doesn't care and doesn't want give me my money back.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for a membership I never received or accessed and tried to cancel after I had not received paperwork, membership info, and receipt of purchase as promised. [redacted] at the IWLA offered me terrible customer service and did not want to give me what I wanted, or give me my money back. I want to warn other women that if this organization calls them, to not trust them or give them your money.

[redacted] chose to befcome a member of TheInternational Women's Leadership Associaiton on March **, 2014.

Her membership was arrnaged as a payment plan. The first charge was on march **, 2014 in the amount of $294.95.

The scond payment ($109) was to be transacted on April **, 2014.

The third - and final payment was due on May **, 2014.

On April **, 2015, I received an e-mai8l from [redacted] requesting to cancel her membership.

Additionally, she asked for a refund.

I personally responded to her e-mail and explained that a refund was not possible as it was well beyond her right to cancel and that cusotmized work had been done on her behalf and with her authorizatio0n, for which we incurred expenses.

I did, however, waive the remaining two payments and told her her membership would stayt "as is".

[redacted] has been published on our site since her memberhsip date: March **, 2014. She iw wholely aware of this.

She continues to have full rights of membership benefits and privileges and has already revvied numerous invitations, newsltter, magazine, tele-class opportunities,

events, etc.

[redacted] saying she has not used the benefits is ceertianly beyond our ability to control.

I did speak with [redacted] this morning, having received a chargeback from her bank.

I called her as a courtesy; my call was not accepted as such.

She did state she would call everyone she knows and tell them about this matter: I guess she started with you.

Thank you for the opportunityt o prvide this information. If you would like to see the receipt of her membership as well as the e-mail she sent, I will be happy to provide them.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First, I'd like to note the lack of professionalism in the response

to my complaint. There are MANY spelling errors. I have no idea what "work

was done on my behalf". But,

apparently this "work done on my behalf" costs me $294.95 and a

forced membership to an organization. I find this hard to believe since I do

not have any documentation of any work done on my behalf, and who it was done

by. I still have NO DOCUMENTATIONA AT ALL from this organization, even after

they charged me. I’m also a bit baffled that in the response from the IWLA, a

receipt of my membership was offered to the Revdex.com. Why has no receipt been

offered to ME for MY membership?

“[redacted]

has been published on our site since her memberhsip date: March **, 2014.

She iw wholely aware of this.

She

continues to have full rights of membership benefits and privileges and has

already revvied numerous invitations, newsltter, magazine, tele-class

opportunities,

events,

etc.

[redacted] saying she has not used the benefits is ceertianly beyond our ability

to control.”

In response to the above statement, I called on 4/**/14 to CANCEL my

membership and receive a refund. Since I never received a welcome packet or ANY

documentation for that matter, I had ZERO access to membership benefits. I was

informed I could not cancel my membership and could not get a refund. I stated

at least 10 times on this call I did not want this membership, and that I

wanted to CANCEL (and my I add, I have been informed MANY times these calls are

recorded, so I’m positive my cancellation requests are available). So, being

told that my next two payments would be waived, but I will not get a refund for

the first payment and I would still be a member, is NOT what I requested. I

requested CANCELLATION of my membership because I did not receive the welcome

packet I was promised, any membership access information, etc. and I did not

want to be a member of such an organization that handles situations the way

this is being handled. I am being forced to be a member and to pay for it. I

had also asked multiple times that my being “published” on their website be

removed because I do not want to be a member, and thought my requests to cancel

membership would cancel my membership and remove my name from the website. Again,

I never had access to this “publication” because I never received my welcome

packet (as promised) or any information about my membership, including my

account number, website login information, list of member benefits, receipt of

membership payment, etc. In response to my request for my publication to be

taken down because I do not want to be a member and have attempted to cancel my

membership, I was told it would not be taken down until our “issue” is

resolved. I find it completely unethical to force someone to be a member of

your organization and not allow them to cancel and refuse to take down their

information on your website. I want nothing to do with this organization after

I have seen how they operate, do business and deal with “members”. I want a

refund for the amount I was charged for a membership I was never able to use,

and attempted to cancel at the earliest possible date due.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

If I have no receipt or itemized expense sheet stating what exactly my money was supposedly used for, then how should I be expected to pay it? The answer is, I should not be expected to pay it. Therefore, I am requesting my compromised refund amount of $244.95. I believe that any work done on my behalf was only worth $50, and I can only assume since I have no documentation, and if the IWLA says otherwise, they should surely have proof and documentation of what exactly my money was used for and be willing to share it with me. It is generous of me to even let the IWLA keep $50.00 of my money after the terrible experience I've had to endure.

Review: Organization contacted me to award me with a plaque for outstanding leadership in the community. Paid for elite membership to the organization, which I was to receive a welcome and benefits package, membership ID, an article on the website, featured in the IWLA magazine etc.

I paid and received absolutely NOTHING. I sent an email three times and placed several phone calls. I received a phone call back from a representative indicating that they were unsuccessful with delivery and to verify my address. When I asked what they had as my address, the representative said, "oh it's not the one you gave us, we have it now and all items will be shipped out immediately". Response:

Thank you for th eopportunity to repsond to this matter.

[redacted]l became a member of The Intneraitonal Women's Leadership Associaiotn on April *, 2014.

That was her/our first contact

There was no phone conversaiton with her on April **, 2014, as she claims.

We corresponded with her on April **, 2014 via e-mail when her Welcome Package was returned to us.

She responded via e-mail; on April **, 2014 and we ocnfirmed her address in the United Arab Emerites.

The confirmed address is to where both her Welcome Padckage and her Plaque (which is a gift) were sent.

As we have not received them back, we assume they have been properly delivered.

Now, let me take a step back...[redacted] was not contacted to be awareded a plaque.

The program she chose happens to include as plaque - as a gift.

Her name WILL be listed in an upcoming edition our magazine, as she reprepsents.

She was never told she would be featured in it, as if in an article.

[redacted]'s memberhsip is for life and to declare "nothing" within a few week's time is not at all in line with

what her memberhsip will afford her for a lifeitme.

As her address is in the uNited Arab Emerites, it seems somewhat logicla thatdleivery of her packages may take

a bit longer than what we might call the norm.

However, she misrepresents the fact as to the dates and circumstances.

[redacted] is published on our site, has and will continue to receive all of the benefits an privileges of membership

with TheIWLA and to jump to an unfounded complaint is to do harm to our organization's reputation - and for no

substantiated reason.

I have never had a conversaiton with [redacted], which is our protocol, for anyone unhappy with any aspect

of their program and/or our services.

Thank you for the oppottunoity to adrress this issue and stae the facts.

Review: This is in response to the IWLA membership. The day I had spoken on the phone to a representative of the IWLA to join and obtain a membership I was told that they would waive the initial fee and just charge me $19.95 a month for the membership. I had explained to the rep initially that I could not pay the amount quoted which was initially over $400.00. She then lowered the price each time I tried to end the call with her. I specifically stated that I had just suffered a death in my family and I have to pick up the cost for Flowers etc… and I would not be able to make any payment today. She then went on and on about the benefits of the organization. I told her that I would have to call her back in a few weeks. At that point she said once again that she would waive the initial fee which went down to around $115.95 from the initial over $400.00 that she quoted at the beginning of the call. She stated that due to my circumstances that she would waive the fee and I would only pay the $19.95 a month for 10 months. After a long draining conversation with this lady that lasted over 30 mins I agreed to what I understood would just be $19.95 a month and the 115.95 fee would be waived. I gave her my debit card info and then told her to not use that info but to use my credit card info because I wasn’t sure how safe this transaction was. I never thought that this was a scam until now.

I haven’t had any claims in the past of this nature and I was very appalled after I saw my credit card statement with the charge of $115.95 on 9/**/15 from the IWLA after we agreed that the initial fee would be waived. I contacted the company as soon as I could find the number which took me forever because no number was posted on the website and no emails to confirm the amount they were going to charge or anything was received after the call with the representative. My first email went out to Beth on 9/**/15. I even called several times during that week and left phone messages for her but never received a call back. In the email I indicated that the charge was incorrect I did not agree to that fee of $115.95. I then stated that I had not received any membership info or membership card and I still haven’t received any of those items to date! I ended the email by stating that I am no longer interested in the membership and to no longer charge my credit card. I received no reply for this and then I was charged again on 10/**/15 for $19.95. Once again I called and complained and restated that I don’t want anything to do with this organization. I finally spoke to Beth and told her I did not want to be a member and that the initial email was sent after the charge on my account was received and it was not the amount I authorized when speaking to her representative. She then told me to send her yet another email saying I no longer want to be charged and do not want the membership and that’s what I did….but still I got no reply to that email either. That last email was sent on 10/**/15 immediately after we spoke on the phone and I explained to her the situation.

Finally, I would like to end by saying that I want a refund and I have every right to get my money back because there was not an agreement for the initial charge to my account of $115.95! I also want a refund on the $19.95 that I was charged on 10/**/15. This is ridiculous! This company has had similar complaints on the Revdex.com website and is not currently accredited! You shouldn’t have to flim flam someone into becoming a member of an organization. If someone was quoted incorrectly then the organization if it has any business sense should be able to rectify the situation and make it right! I will also get my lawyer involved if I do not receive a refund. There was mention of the conversation being recorded, I would love for all parties involved to hear how the rep continued to lower the cost of the membership over and over again until I agreed to just the monthly fee of $19.95 due to my financial circumstances with the funeral I was getting ready for that same week. Please advise on when this issue will be resolved.Desired Settlement: I want a refund and I have every right to get my money back because there was not an agreement for the initial charge to my account of $115.95! I also want a refund on the $19.95 that I was charged on 10/**/15. This is ridiculous!

At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding The International Women's Leadership Association has been

Resolved. My credit card company refunded my money after my written complaint was received. I have not heard from the IWLA.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: Some time last year I filed a complaint due to unauthorized products being supplied by the World Wide Who's Who. My problem was successfully handled through the Revdex.com (thank you). Today I received an unsolicited email from someone named [redacted] at the International Womens Leadership Association at my work place email. The email offered purported to include me in their website and indicated that I was a member of the organization when I am in fact not a member. It also attempted to solicit donations. When I ran the company through google, it appeared to be related to the World Wide Who's Who. The email was sent to me in violation of Canada's anti phishing legislation. My prior resolution was based on my request that the WWWW purge my all my information which they had published without my consent. I believe that my contact information has been given to the IWLA without my consent. I do not want to be harassed at work by these people and I am not a member of their association. I want them never to contact me again.Desired Settlement: I am not looking for anything other than confirmation that my contact information has been deleted and that this company will not contact me again nor falsely represent that I am a member. Thank you for your kind assistance.

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this matter. The International Women's Leadership Association (TheiWLA) has no affiliation with who/what [redacted] refers to as WWWW (World Wide Who's Who). I cannot imagine on what basis [redacted] would have ocncluded such an associaiton basefd on a google search.[redacted] states she was asked for a donation! NO, this is also not true. While TheIWLA suports several charities [redacted] was not asked to make a donation. She further refers to "sales person" [redacted]. My name is [redacted]. I am the Executive Director of TheiWLA and proudly share that informaiton, which was also shared with [redacted] on the letter she received. Rest assured, [redacted] has been removed form anyand all forms of communication from us - at her request - which I am sad to have done as it precludes her form receiving other opportunities from us. All [redacted] had to do was ask US to be removed and the result would have been the same.I wish [redacted] continued success.[redacted]TheIWLA[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: On March **, 2014 I received a call from THEIWLA (The international Woman’s Leadership association).

I was asked to join their network of leaders internationally. On April * I received the welcome packet contents are enclosed. On April ** I tried to log into the web portal and preview my profile. I could not even pull it up in their search bar another member came up. I did get to go in and change my password and finally found my profile.

I was promised a bio after my lengthy phone interview and it was not done. This site is smoke and mirrors not what I was promised and defiantly misrepresented. I don’t believe they are a legitimate company. This is not what I purchased first I e-mailed [redacted] (Dear [redacted], I had a moment yesterday to log in and preview what I purchased.

I am not pleased with my purchase. Please let me know how I go about getting a refund.) The web site is very cumbersome I am a technical person and felt this product was misrepresented. How am I to get network service when the resource web site is dysfunctional? They misrepresented the service on our call stating there would be networking resources but they can’t be accessed easily using their web site. When [redacted] called me I expressed my concern she said it was a brick and mortar site. Not an acceptable answer for organization that represents women internationally. How are we to bridge connections if we can’t use the web. . I am concerned they may be tricking future customers into paying $747.00 for nothing.Desired Settlement: I placed a complaint with my Visa CC to get a refund

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

I will address [redacted]'s statements in the order in which she has made them; I believe the details are important as they represent facts and what is true.

[redacted] received a call form The International Women's Leadership Association on March [redacted] 2014; not on March **.

The call was in repsonse to her registration which we processed on March **, 2014;

[redacted] provided her contact informaiton, which we did not have prior to receiving her registration.

[redacted] states that she entered her file on April **; she actually entered her file on April **, 2014, as recorded in the 'usage' section of her file.

I do not know why she was not able to find her name and then she was. A typo would make a diference, but by her own admission she successfully accessed her file.

We are not in control of the search engines, not the filters on anyone's computer.

Next, [redacted] addresses her "bio", which is actually the start of her profile. It was clearly entered as the result of an approximate 11 minute inteview with her Account Advisor. Ths is what she refers to as the lengthy conversation. (The entire conversaiton began 12:43 PM and lasted just under 34 minutes.

During that time, [redacted] was properly advised that she has complete editorial privilege - all members do - and that she can make addiitons, deletions, edits, etc so as to keep her profile relevant.

[redacted] expresses an opinion that our site is smoke and mirrors, an allegation I take great exception to.

Please be advised that I reviewed [redacted] conversation (she was properly advised that the conversaiton was recorded: I would be happy to send it to you.) All representations are true ad accurate and having spent only minutes on the site, [redacted] can, in no way, have accessed all the benefits and privileges of membership; that's simply not posible. New opportuities are delivered to our members regularly; again, this was explained in her original conversation.

She expresses another opinion that our site is cumberosme. I respect her right to that opinion; somethng never expressed by the thousands of others who have visited it and engage on it.

Upon receiving an e-mail requesting a refund, I perosnally phoned [redacted] within 11 minutes.

Her e-mail referred to our site as "what I purchased" Her brick and mortar reference is, perhaps a misunderstatdning of my referring to a site (any site)as brick and mortar., you do not purchase the site!

The site is completely functional, despite [redacted]'s calling it dysfunctional! Again, she clearly acknolwedges her abillity to view her file and change her password.

TheIWLA is proud of the work we do day in and day out in providing women from around the world the resources they need to move forward, personally and professionally. This is not a mere 'representation' as [redacted] describes it; it is fact.

Most disturbing in the call I shared with [redacted] was her reference to knowing how to take care of this. She said she had just begun and that what she had sent to me was nothing and that more was coming. Indeed, it has.

As the [redacted] of TheIWLA I stand behind all we represent. I do not cave to threats of action. In fact, I supported [redacted]'s consumer rights and also told her TheiWLA has rights, as well. I find it disrepectful to all parties that an easy to file complaint with the Revdex.com, with the express intent to disparage another party, is delivered to my e-mail within minutes with no outreach to the other party's position prior to being a documented complaint.

I am more than happy to provide the recoded conversations which clearly address the tone nd the purpose of this complaint. Where nay I sned them?

Lastly, the information I perosnally provided to the Revdex.com to properly represent who we are was never added to our file On that matter, I spoke with a [redacted].

Again, thank you for the opportunoty to shed proper light on this situation

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The Response has made comment to a Bio what was represented on the site was simply answers to questions asked during an interview. Site is defiantly hard to navigate and when putting my name in the search bar another member showed up rather than my bio and this was not addressed. I had requested a refund and expressed I did not want to be associated with a web site that the company itself on the call referenced as brick and mortar. In summary I want to withdraw my membership and get a full refund for this misrepresentation. I find it difficult to believe that this organization can reach a population aboard when you cant use their web site and mention they cant do anything about type of web browser accessing their site. Obviously they have had calls in the past where people have complained about this. Please help me resign and get a refund for services not rendered. Hope you can help solve this issue for me.

Thanks in advance for all your help and support on this taxing experience.

I am not accepting this reply.

Not acceptable that a company has no refund policy. Defiantly something is wrong with this picture. That is unprofessional and not customary for a real business. I will further peruse my refund thanks.

Response:

I am sorry that [redacted] chose not to accept the partial credit of $200. This was a good-faith offer made in a attempt to reach a fair ocmpromise.

[redacted], I ask you to recall that you did accept membership into TheiWLA. Recall that you were told "...that because everytrhing is created for you and about you, all memberhsips are final." Re-read, if you would be so kind, the paid statement included in your Welcome Package; it states, again, that all memberships are final (Because they are customized)

Most importantly, perhaps, please respect the work that has done into creating your program and your pathways to connect to our informaiton, the opportunities,

teleclasses, webinars, etc.

Services provided have come at a cost to TheiWLA and profesisonals involved in the fulfillment of those services must be paid. Had you not chosen to be a member, none of those costs would have been incurred. They were, however, incurred, at your request and with your authorization.

For the record, as it was I with whom you spoke, you imply that a speciific position was taken and you misrepresent the use of certian wording in your reply. When you threatened to pursue a complaint with the Revdex.com, I acknolwedged your rights as a consumer; I, too, am a consumer. Businesses also have rights and, as such, I am addressing your position for at least a third time, perhaps more; that is also my responsibility as a business.
