The complaint leaves out a few details.  As Jennifer explained, she gave us a contact
at [redacted] and we discussed the matter with [redacted].  [redacted] got back to us and said they do not
believe they were responsible and felt Creative Compliance was the...

responsible
party.  We then contacted our client
Springer for more information, which they provided, including an email from
Creative Compliance where they ordered the service.  When we contacted Jennifer a couple months
after the initial conversation, we provided this documentation and explained
why our client felt Creative Compliance was liable and asked us to continue to
pursue the balance owed.
After Jennifer filed this complaint, I as President of the
company contacted her.  During that
discussion, Jennifer offered to provide additional documentation on this
matter.  Upon receipt of this new
documentation, we reviewed the information and shared it with our client Springer.  Springer has now responded that based on this
new documentation, we should discontinue our collection efforts against
Creative Compliance.   
This is the first complaint in 24 years of business.  Had Jennifer provided this other
documentation earlier, or asked to discuss this with a manager at our company,
I’m sure it would have been resolved without requiring a complaint.  All we needed was the documentation to
support her position.  We believe this matter is now resolved but await confirmation.

We had had extremely overdue commercial funds to be collected when we first got in touch with the Kaplan Group. We received two thirds of funds we expected to be collected within a week. They have approached our customer very professionally and made an immediate impact on our customer's people who have not been returning my calls or emails. Collection methods can be quiet disturbing for the debtor. The Kaplan Group managed a delicate balancing act while keeping prospects for future business alive. They trusted us to receive all payments and expected us to report what we received. Mutual trust yielded 100% collection and restart of business with our customer.

They were fantastic and I would absolutely use them again, if the situation arose.

We had a client who had stopped paying their invoices and were no longer communicating with us in good faith. We needed a commercial debt collection service to help us and Kaplan really came through. We chose Kaplan because they were accredited with the Revdex.com, a member of the IACC, and were very straightforward with us when we made an inquiry about their service.
They were able to resolve our claim effectively and efficiently, and communicated with us every step of the way. We, of course, hope we do not find ourselves in this situation again. But, if we do, we would certainly use Kaplan again.
