Review: This laudry give free dry with every wash but none of the dryers work. For months the dryers have been broke. They keep saying they will be fixed and replaced but nothing has be done to fix the problem. At least half of the dryers in this establishment are broken and unable to be used at all.Desired Settlement: Fix the dryers so customers can wash and dry there clothes peacefully

Review: The Laundry Center picked up a bag of our laundry on 12/**/13 and we have not seen it since. We have called several times to find out what happened and were told they have no idea and have made no effort to track it down. Every time we call they either tell us the delivery end of their service 'lost' the laundry or they don't answer the phone. We have made several good faith efforts to resolve this to no avail. There was hundreds of dollars worth of clothing in the laundry we gave them and apparently this business has no system in place to track the most important part of the entire business-ensuring the clothes you want laundered aren't lost without a trace.Desired Settlement: Compensation for lose of clothing that values approximately $250

Review: I called this company for a [redacted] issue that I was having and asked them to pick up 4 small garbage bags of sheets and pillows to be washed. I spoke with [redacted] on Monday, July* and asked for them to pick up my items on Tuesday, July [redacted] but they said they could not until Wednesday, July [redacted]. I agreed and and we set a pick up time for 11:00am-1:00pm. On Wednesday morning, I waited and waited and finally called the service at 12:30pm to see if they were still on their way. Then they call me to tell they are not going to make it, and they cannot come until 3:00-5:00pm. I told them that I can only be home by 4:30pm, they said that was fine and would come after 4:30pm. They did not show up until 5:20pm that day. When the delivery man arrived, I asked him if they dry cleaned items, such as comforters and pillows, he had no idea. So I phoned the service again and spoke with [redacted] (male), he said to write it down on the bags what I would like to dry cleaned, so I did. I wrote on all the bags that I only wanted the three pillows and baby blanket dry cleaned, everything else please wash thoroughly including the comforter. So he takes the bags. Might I add that I was never asked for a credit card from [redacted], [redacted] or the delivery man at this point. They said they could not delivery until after the holiday, which I said was fine. So the drop off day would be Monday, July* from 3:00-5:00pm. I wait and wait and at 6:20pm, I get a call from the delivery man telling me he is not coming because something had happened to the van and also that they did not have enough room in the van. I asked him why this was not brought to my attention earlier, and he, of course, did not know. So I them phone the service and speak with [redacted], and he tells me that he would find out what happened and phone me back. I never heard from him, until I called the next morning at 9:30am (Tuesday, July [redacted]). He tells me that he would again find out what happened and call me back. I then called at 11:00am and 12:00pm, with no answer. I call later at 1:00pm and speak to [redacted] who tells me the reason they did not drop off the day before was because of a credit card issue. I ask how could there be an issue when I was never asked for a credit card and was never given the total. I asked for him to tell [redacted] (the manager) to call me back and explain. I never heard from him. I did receive a call later around 3:00pm from [redacted] explaining the same, and I expressed to him how disappointed I was with their service and that there needs to be some sort of discount. He tells me that [redacted] is willing to give me 10% discount. I ask for the total, to which he tells me $73.44. Which is preposterous for the little amount of items I gave them. I tell him that their services advertise for $1.75/pound and he tells me it is actually .95 cents/pound; which should be even cheaper. He tells me that they dry cleaned everything. I express again to [redacted], that I never wanted everything to be dry cleaned, I only wanted what I wrote down and told them: three pillows and a baby blanket. I then express again how ridiculous this was and that the price needs to change drastically. He tells me he agrees and will call [redacted] to fix them price. I then had to call him later as I never received a call about the prognosis. [redacted] tells me that [redacted] will fix the price and that they will delivery the next morning before 9:00am and that [redacted] would call me later that day (Wednesday, July **) to get my credit card info. The next morning, Wednesday, July ** comes and I get a call from [redacted] at 9:15pm asking me for my credit card info. I ask him where the delivery men are as it is passed 9:00am. He said they are on their way. He never gave me the total, and only asked for my credit card info. I gave him the information. Then, it is 9:40 and I call [redacted] to ask where they are again. He said he would call them and find out. He them calls me at 9:50 to ask if I received my items, to which I tell him no. Then at 9:57am, they finally arrive with my items. I notice that that there are somethings missing. I check it out and find out that my comforter is missing. I then phone the service and tell them that my item is missing. They said the would look for it. I then decide that I had enough and try to track down [redacted] via phone. I end up getting to talk with [redacted] again, and explain to him that my items are missing and that I should not have to pay anything for all this trouble, and that in fact they should pay me for the missing items. He said he would call [redacted] to call me back as soon as possible. It has been over 30 minutes since then and I still have not received a call. I do not want to get charged for the horrible services this company has provided. My items are still missing.Desired Settlement: If they do charge me, I would like a full refund and payment for my missing comforter.

Review: I sent in my laundry and upon its return I complained it was not all there. They responded it is. Then I proceeded to email, call and send repeated messages to owner with itemized list of missing items. It took 5 weeks and I still dont have my clothes or the compensation for the lost items costing me close to $500 to replace. I will be filing a small claims suite because they have repeatedly denied my requests for a reimbursement.Desired Settlement: I wish to be reimbursed for my lost clothing items totaling $500 as well as my time I have had to go around and shop to replace items for my teenage daughter.

Review: I scheduled a laundry service order for pick-up from The Laundry Center on Thursday, September [redacted]. It was supposed to be returned on Friday, September [redacted]. It was never delivered. I called and e-mailed the service many times, and was told my order had gone missing. As of Saturday, September [redacted], The Laundry Service confirmed that they have no idea where my order is and have nothing to return to me. I am concerned this business is either lazy and incompetent, or stealing customers items and reselling them, and relying on their poor customer service to distract and frustrate customers from pursuing action. I was not charged anything for my laundry order because it was lost. However, I would like to reimbursed for the laundry that The Laundry Center lost which I will have to spend over 1,200 to replace. I have itemized my known missing items and their estimated costs, to the best of my ability, below. I do not have receipts as these items were purchased more than a few weeks ago, but I looked at store websites to research the cost of similar items to those that were lost to give a fair estimate. Review: Before placing my order with the Laundry Center, I called and emailed to ask if it would be possible to get a price for a suede jacket. I was told that it's impossible to give firm prices for broad categories of clothes, but that it would be possible to get a quote once they have picked the clothes up.I didn't receive a phone call in coming days, so I called them up only to discover they'd gone ahead and dry cleaned it, charging me $40.The Instructions are still very clearly printed on all copies of the receipt. It says 'Customer Instructions: Also, one suede jacket. I just spoke on the phone with you and the woman said it would be possible to include it in order to get a cost on what it would cost to dry clean. Thanks.'When I realised no quote had been given, and that I'd be charged $40, despite the very clear instructions just to provide a quote, I emailed and rang and spoke with Stefanie, and eventually her supervisor Charles. Between the 5th of March and [redacted]of June I exchanged more than 19 emails with Charles and Stefanie, as well as speaking on the phone to both several times.Eventually on the [redacted]of May, Charles cc'd me on an email to Stefanie, asking her to get in touch to 'straighten it all out'. I repeatedly emailed her with no reply, and Charles completely stopped answering the phone when I rang.Desired Settlement: All I wanted was a show of good faith regarding a credit for the jacket I explicitly did not give permission to dry clean & charge (heavily) for. I liked the service & hoped to use it again.After they stopped communicating with me (despite Charles promising he would arrange a credit), I gave up to focus on moving from the East to the West Coast. I am no longer in their service area & require a refund.I paid $40 for 4 other items, & $40 for the jacket in question, plus $6.80 tip.

Review: The company delivered my dry cleaning with two pairs of pants missing. Numerous emails and phone calls did not resolve the problem.Desired Settlement: Please ship the missing pants to my new address or provide compensation for the replacement cost of the pants, estimated at a total of $220.

Review: I ordered a laundry pick up from the laundry center with the instructions to pick up one red bag containing my clothes from my apartment. Whoever picked up the laundry picked up two additional bags and the Laundry Center proceeded to charge me for those bags as well. When the bags were delivered, the dry cleaning I placed in my red bag was missing (valued at $300). I have called the laundry center multiple times and have been told I would receive a refund for my purchase, and multiple guarantees of speedy dry cleaning delivery. I have not received either. I have been calling their customer service multiple times a day for the past week and have been getting the run around from each person that I talk to. I have been charged $100 dollars for laundry that was not mine, and am yet to receive $300 worth of clothes. I have not received a refund or my dry cleaning despite multiple promises from different managers that my case would be resolved.Desired Settlement: Deliver my dry cleaning, give me my refund for the laundry that was not mine. It clearly stated in the instructions to pick up one red bag, but whoever picked up the laundry completely disregarded these instructions.
