The Louver Shop

I placed an order for Plantation shutters with what I believed to be a Louver Shop employeeIt was not-apparently these guys are independent contractors that just agree to sell only Louver Shop productsThey were installed and did not work properly so I was told by the installer not to pay the second HALF of the cost until they were fixed or replacedThey could not be fixed they had rubbed the paint off the inside of the shuttersThe sales rep decided to use my credit card information that he had kept from the down payment and charge the remainder of my purchase without notifying meOnce I discovered the charge on my card I made contact with the repHe yelled and screamed on the phone and told me that I had the product and he was taking the payment for itIt was clearly explained to me and it is in BOLD print in the contract that the second half of payment is not be paid on a credit card they will not accept thisSo the sales rep fraudulently used my credit card information that he had keptI had no problem paying by check if I had received working shutters but once again was told not to pay by the installer who probably had plenty of past experience with shutter issuesI called the customer service rep for The Louver Shop [redacted] only to be told there was nothing they could do, they had tried to reason with the rep and they apologized for his behavior but because he was not their employee they could not help me get my money backSo now I have my attorney and credit card company looking into itTo date I do not have working shuttersI would not recommend this company to anyone ever again!
