This customer purchased a vehicle from us along with a warranty from a third party providerWe are not involved with cases involving the warranty provider (as these situations are handled by their company directly)The warranty company informed our customer it needed to break down the issue to
point of failure to determine if it was under coverage, to our knowledge the customer accepted thisWhen the warranty provider sent it's inspector to look at the customer's issue, it was then determined that the issue was not under coverageOur company is not involved as we are not the issuer of the warranty, the conversation should be taken to the third-party warranty provider who declined coverage in this instance

Necessary items have been sent out, please feel free to contact our General Manager with any more concerns and we will resolve them

Per my conversation with our Service Manager, Mike has reached out to the customer today to attempt to better understand the issue with the vehicleWe will continue to work with the customer to find a resolution

Long Island Auto Find has no control over the warranty provider's decisionAs the customer admitted, they have filed cases with all parties involved attempting to find a party for reimbursementUnfortunately this case is completely out of our jurisdiction and should be solely handled through the
warranty providerAdditionally, in following up with our service manager I found that he never even received word of this issue (which means the customer made repairs before we could even determine if this is something we could help with)

The customer's refund has been returnedIn a conversation regarding the incident, our salesperson cited aggressive language which caused him to be unwilling to continue helping the customer with a transactionWhether or not aggressive language was used, we would like to apologize for the delay as

The staff at Long Island Auto Find have been nothing but rude and unaccomodatingI have spoken to the manager (Jim M***) after he threatened to take legal action against me for writing in my review that they (Long Island Auto Find) have a number of cars on their lot which have open recall notices on them (including the car which I purchased from them)Upon speaking with Jim, he told me he can do "whatever he wants" and doesn't have to "answer to me", that if he wanted to take legal action against me he can do so and I would just have to deal with it.He has refused to call me back after this transpired and refused to sit down with me to try and come to a resolution for the issues I have been experiencing with the car.I have the links of all the vehicles on their lot which have open recalls on them, recorded the phone call I had with Jim, and have the recall notice for the vehicle they sold me (even though they adamantly denied that there was a recall on it)

This vehicle was knowingly brought to an independent mechanic and the engine broken downThe customer is responsible for breaking the engine down at an independent mechanic with the knowledge that if it WAS NOT covered by the warranty provider, there would be a billSince our customer purchased a warranty, this is a dialogue that should be taking place with that warranty company directlyUnfortunately we are unable to have any bearing on the warranty provider's decision

I spoke with margaurite w*** yesterdayShe apologized and said the check was staples in the folderShe said she would mail it todayI have not recieved the check but do expect to recieve it in the next few daysI can see from the scanned copy that she sent that the check was cut on the day noted but they did not send itMargaurite said she would send it todayI am still waiting for my title and the temp tag they issued me expired on July *** What do I do about that? Damage to the Mustang GT engine was not only visible through the side of the engine block, but also apparent from the condition of the rear tires which were in like new condition when sold, which are now ripped and have no tread leftCondition of the tires could be caused by highly reckless
and aggressive drivingThere is no possible way for a car to eject a portion of the engine's rotating assembly unless the engine has been subjected to consistent excessive high rpm operation
