I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[redacted] has consistently jerked me around for the past 7 weeks with the same response to resolving this matter.  Every time his answer is always the same he will personally take care of this matter which he had promised for the past 6 weeks and has not done a thing to reslove or return my money.  His lack of professionalism make me question all of his business dealings and to be truthfull I am sorry I ever got into business with him in the first place.
Today I will be going to the bank to report fraud on my account in his name and the name of the magazine.Thank you for your attention in this matter.  [redacted]

Review: Back in December I was contacted by [redacted] of the New York Optimist regarding on line advertising of my rental property in [redacted]. I agreed to advertise at a reduced rate of $381. and gave the NYOptimist my credit card number for payment. So now it is January and I get my statement from the bank and not only was I charged the $381 on anuary [redacted], I was again charged on January * for the same amount of money, $381.00. I immediately call [redacted] and was told it fell through the cracks and it was a mistake and I would be refunded my money in about 2 weeks. Forward two weeks no money refunded so called him and again get the run around again about it falling through the cracks and I would have my money in another 2 weeks. Guess what no money.

On February *, 2015 I send an email requesting answers as to where my money is and again the run around with a 2 week deadline and send another email on 2/* and 2/**. I am now getting no response to any of my correspondence. I would like the be reimbursed for all of the money taken from me in the amount of $762 since I feel that doing business with this company will be of no benefit to me since they cannot even honor or take care of their mistakes with a complete run around and all they do is ignore the problem instead of trying to promote there business and for these reasons I will never do business with them again as I feel that I cannot trust them with any future dealings.Desired Settlement: I would like the entire amount of $762. refunded back to my account

Review: I chose to advertise with the online newspaper, New York Optimist. My credit card was charged twice for the transaction. The editor of the online paper has not been able to return my refund for 8 months.Desired Settlement: I have a contract for advertising purposes for $500.00. This includes 2 online ads, which will run for the duration of 52 weeks. I was charged twice for this transaction, and I am looking for the additional charge of $500.00 to be refunded. First charge: $544.00 (including tax) for advertising campaign for 52 weeks was charged on June **, 2014. Second charge: $500.00 Credit card was ran again for additional charge on June **, 2014 for no apparent reason.

Riddiculous timing I apologize.But we will finally be able to get this done.Within a week and a half from today.

Review: We, [redacted] made a deal to advertise with the weekly online magazine, The New York Optimist for one year at $150 + tax. We gave [redacted] our credit card info & we were charged the correct about. A month later when we got our statement, we noticed we were charged another $150. We called, he apologized & said he would credit our card in about 2 weeks. The next bill came with no credit. Another call he said it fell through the cracks & he would do it in a couple weeks, then later he said he'd send us a cashiers check......on & on. Now he is not returning our phones calls & we are out the $150.Desired Settlement: We want our total amount paid refunded, $312. We do not wish to do business with this kind of business.

In response to your (the Revdex.com) questions 1. The long delay in refunding this client is mainly due to financial issues with our company. Over the past year and a half it has been very difficult to maintain a steady reliable staff, leaving me to handle the larger bulk of work and different jobs that are required to run this company properly. 2. I will be refunding this client by certified check money order. 3. I will have this check refunded to him ASAP, the weekend may delay the refund by a few days. so as you mentioned in our conversation June [redacted] is probably a better deadline. Note: it has been a very difficult month - (May) and I do not want to extend or hold this clients money from being refunded nor did I ever intend for this situation to take place at all. Thank you for your attention to this matter and I do apologize again [redacted] for this delay.
