your time and consideration, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Best Wishes,The Perfect Smile

Review: My experience with Perfect Smile was very unpleasant. The dentist looked around for a minute and counted up 10 cavities. Unbelievable, considering the fact that I had one cavity prior to that in my life. The cleaning he gave me after that was ~45 seconds of splashing water all over my face. I was visibly upset and confused by his analysis, to which he became very defensive, saying that I could go somewhere for a second opinion, but that “this is just what I was trained to”. The second opinion that I got from another dentist: I had one cavity. So I definitely feel like I was trying to be scammed by Perfect Smile.

My husband was supposed to be up next after my appointment, but the dentist "forgot" about him. When the assistant pointed out that he was skipped, we overheard, "Oops, I already started on another patient, he will have to wait." While getting ready, the assistant dropped several cleaning utensils on the floor and placed them back on the tray without sterilizing them. So we decided to just leave at that point.

It took Perfect Smile 3 weeks to fulfill the request for copying our x-rays, with several excuses as to why there why there was a delay. They were very rude and difficult to deal with during that process. We dropped our x-rays off with our new dentist, and they let us know that what we brought them was only bitewings and 2 intra-oral (each). It turns out Perfect Smile charged Healthplex for a full set of x-rays for myself. When I confronted them about it, they were very impolite and told me they didn’t have ability to confirm what sort of x-rays I had done in the fall since I “wasn’t a patient there anymore”. After a few days, I finally spoke to someone who claimed they had issues with their machine that day. I asked why they still charged Healthplex for a full set, when that's not what they were able to produce and they didn't have an answer for me. The whole experience seemed very deceptive and we are extremely disappointed with every interaction.Desired Settlement: Since Perfect Smile was not able to actually deliver the full set of x-ray that they charged my insurance company for, I would like to see them adjust that charge, so that I can have them done somewhere else. I will be taking this up with my insurance company as well, but felt it was important to shine a light on the type of business they are running.

The insurance company will be contacted regarding the xrays. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the miscommunication. Every doctor's professional opinion may vary. Some of our dentists may take precautions are caries that may be forming. I will speak with the dentist that you saw and if you would like him to contact you, that would not be a problem. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience you have had with our office.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: This is in reference to the dental services performed on my daughter [redacted] on June 22, 2015. Perfect smiles charged me the full amount of services despite receiving contracted payment from [redacted]. I have been trying to resolved this issue since August but to no avail. I have called their office 5 times and spoke with Linda (she would not tell me her full name) and never had a return phone call. She also refused to disclosed the name of the person in charge and would not allow me to speak with the dentist. I have also found out recently that they have charge my insurance procedure that were not performed.Desired Settlement: Since they have an obligation to accept contracted payment from [redacted] They should refund me the amount they charge my credit card ($601) minus my out of pocket obligations ($135).

Response:

We have left a message for the patient on Monday, November 16, 2015 regarding this issue. We have yet to receive a call back. Please contact our office at [redacted] to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Review: I have been dealing with Perfect Smile, a dentist office located at [redacted], New Jersey [redacted] since November 18, 2013. I was only serviced by that office once, on November 18, 2013. Since that date, I have been embroiled into a world of lies, deceit, manipulations, fraud, and theft unable to resolve the matter involving payment, invoice and reimbursement.

On November 18, 2013, I went to Perfect Smile for a routine dental cleaning. I had dental insurance to cover the cost of the dental cleaning. Valerie the office manager called [redacted] for a loan on my behalf to cover only a bridge and whitening.

What I did not know then was that [redacted] wired $2350 to Perfect Smile almost immediately. Perfect Smile never billed my insurance for the cleaning instead they used the $2350 as their private back account. They billed me for x-rays, the cleaning, the whitening, a cancelled appointment and a molding for which I was never fitted for.

Since November 18, 2013, Perfect Smile has refused to refund the remainder of the $2350 minus the bogus $768.00 they insist on charging me for while I continue to repay the loan. Perfect Smile has refused to provide me with an invoice and they have done nothing but lie to me with no good intentions to resolve this matter.

Problem: Perfect Smile has refused to settle an invoice for services delivered on November 18, 2013, totaling $768.00 so that the lender [redacted] can settle the $2350 they issued to Perfect Smile on November 18, 2013. Moreover, Perfect Smile has refused to provide me with a copy of my invoice.Desired Settlement: What needs to Happen: Perfect Smile only need to call the [redacted] or answer their calls to confirm that only $768.00 was used of the $2350 they received, Perfect Smile has to repay [redacted] the unused portion of the $2350 and in turn I will be reimbursed the money I paid over and the account can be settled and closed without damaging my credit.
