While I can certainly understand the number of complaints about the lack of service for clients, the waiting forever for a call back, and any continuity in having the same assigned worker from one call to the next that are listed here for the Relationship Company, as that was my experience for the first year I was active,
I must say that I lucked out on one of the referrals and have been dating the individual for two years now We got engaged in January of this year and are very happy with each other While my fiance has expressed this to the Relationship Company, he continues to get calls asking if he would like to meet someone Right hand/left hand?

In early I received a call from Elissa *** regarding her company, The Relationship Company She invited me to interview with her in her Trumbull CT office and I accepted At that time I was in a very vulnerable state having lost my husband in I was lonesome and thought that meeting someone in a similar situation would be a positive experience for me I couldn't afford the package that she presented, so we settled on an agreement to provide eight (8) introductions for a fee of $plus tax for a total cost of $ After a few weeks I was contacted regarding a potential match This contact resulted in a five minute phone conversation He said he would call back when he was in a better place but that return call never happened There was NEVER another introduction I received some calls from someone in the office suggesting some "possible" introductions, but they never materialized It became impossible to reach anyone at the Relationship Company to complain Several months later I asked for a refund because she had not come even close to meeting the terms of our agreement In July I hired a lawyer to pursue the demand for a refund Ms*** actually agreed to refund $and she signed an agreement to make four payments of $each beginning days from the date of the agreement She never made one payment In retrospect I believe that this whole transaction was a fraud She must surely have known when she promised me there was a surplus of men of suitable age, education, interests, and background, that it simply wasn't true From that point thru to when she agreed to a refund but failed to make any of the payments, she never kept her word I'm writing this negative review because I want to warn potential victims of her unethical practices She can sound very convincing, but she does NOT have your best interests in mind I've been angry about this embarrassing situation, and decided that the best thing I can do is to warn anyone who is thinking about investing their hard-earned money into this losing venture Ms*** and her company are not what she will tell you they are

I joined this company and I met my wife on the first match I signed up to meet women and I met my soulmate on the first one I can't believe how perfect the match was I joke about wanting my money back since I put myself on hold and never met the other but I wouldn't change anything for the world I recommend this company to everyone who complains they can't meet the right one

The biggest reason I came to The Relationship Co was because I weed out the women I did not want to date. I joined the company because I wanted the personal service.

The process of joining was very professional and extremely thorough. they take the time to really get to know who you are and what you really want in a serious relationship. I am a business owner and father of a teenaged daughter with very little free time. I had tried the traditional online dating scene for well over a year and was tired of meeting people who either had hidden agendas, were dishonest or were just plain not who they said they were. When I met my now Fiancé, it was as if we had known each other for years. We both were amazed at how much we had in common. This company is advertised as an elite local dating service. It is supposed to be safer than online dating services because they supposedly do background checks. My experience has shown that this company is nothing but a scam.

On September 2, 2015, I met with Elissa [redacted] (owner) at an office in West Hartford, CT. She led me to believe that there were many possible matches out there for me. I took the least expensive program that she had to offer which was $3,500. She had programs that went up to $7,000 and she tried to get me to sign up for one of those, but I refused. She was going to do a background check on me and said I would hear from her in a month.

About a month later, I received a call saying that they had a match for me. He was a 78 year old man in [redacted] CT. He was way older than my upper age limit so I refused. A week later, I received another call about the same man. I began to question their business practices at that point.

On November 10, 2015, I received another call about another possible match. He sounded like a dream come true so I accepted. He called me and we set a date to meet. After speaking to him, I did a reverse search using his phone number. It turned out that I actually knew this man from where I used to work. He was nothing like the man they portrayed so I canceled the date on November 16, filled out and mailed the form we are required to fill out after a date and mailed it that same day. On, December 15, 2015, I received a note from The Relationship company saying that my account was frozen because they never received the form I had mailed on November 16, 2015. I immediately emailed it to them.

I never heard a word from them after that. On, February 17, 2016, I emailed the Relationship company to find out why and was told that I would hear from them soon. It is now April 9, 2016 and I still have not heard a thing.

This company is a scam. Don't join this company. I am trying to figure out how to get my money back. They prey on those of us who are lonely and looking for companionship. It is a disgrace!!
