Found out about The Resort Place through a Groupon in Booked one-week vacations for $ First vacations were to be taken concurrently in Florida March 5-12, When my party arrived in Florida, Dora E., owner of The Resort Place, had "switched" our accomodations from the 2-bedroom condos we had booked to a house rental without my permission or consent When told she needed to place us back into our originally-booked condos, she told us "that will be a problem" She had already given away those reservations, thinking we would want to stay in the house instead We made her find us condos in Treasure Island, similar to what we had originally booked Instead, she found us accomodations in Madeira Beach, in a resort that was undergoing reconstruction Not only did we have to move furniture off the balconies into our units each night, listen to construction noise at am each morning, but the elevators were not working the entire time we were there Try walking up/down steps each time you needed something in your unit! We were promised by Dora, since she could find nothing better for us to stay in, that we would be refunded $for these "2" vacations and a check would be waiting for us when we returned home We returned home March and I have been calling Dora every week since then, trying to find out where our refund is She has given me a complete runaround with excuses ranging from the fact that she had been out sick from the office to she needed to check with Accounting as to why the check wasn't sent to finally: the company had made some bad vacation deals with a group of Russians who were overly demanding and as soon as they refunded all their funds she would be able to send me a check Countless other excuses were made as well All along I kept reiterating that I did not want this screwup with our Florida vacation and ensuing "nonrefund" of our $to jeopardize my final vacation In North Carolina July 29-August 6, And each time I was reassured this would not affect that and that the July vacation was already booked and accomodations would be ready and waiting for our arrival Even so, in early July, I began calling Dora DAILY, to reconfirm our vacation at the end of the month as well as to keep inquiring about our refund By July 15, I could no longer receive a live person when calling the business on of their phone lines, Only a recording saying all representatives were on other lines, please leave a message and your call will be returned The third phone line had been disconnected And, needless to say, my phone calls, text messages and emails were never returned Unwittingly trusting The Resort Place and Dora E., my group and I went ahead in March and booked an additional 3-week vacation package for for an additional $ We never should have trusted her in the first place, so now we are out $for our vacation package for AND $for another package for My group and I sincerely hope that no one else is scammed by Dora Eand the Resort Place in the future I tried calling Groupon and giving them a heato stop advertising for her but they did not seem interested in what I had to say

My family, my friends and I reserved and paid for our vacation at Mexico. Paid the amount of money that The Resort Place was selling them for. Then day before our departure day, I received a phone call from Dora and she said that she can't pay for our vacation because she has some problems with her bank account. Dora E. asked us to take our credit cards and pay the amount at the resort just in case the payment is not going to go thru. The whole vacation was we tried to call her and asked her to pay and she didn't. All he time she said I m trying. Never called us to tell what was going on, we always had to call her from Mexico. Then she paid some of the amount. When we came back she told us that she will pay the rest and until this day she didn't pay us back the sum a little over 2,500 dollars. I call her some times a couple times a week and she tells me that she will pay and I dont get anything from her. Please help me out. I don't know what else I can do. The whole group was so unsatisfied with this vacation trip plus she still owe us money!! Also she gave us vacation vouchers for future trips. If she can't pay us what she owe us, how can she lie and say that she will give us free vacation. Every week I call her and she lies that she will pay and it never happened since November 2015 and now is April 2015.

DONT RESERVE FROM HERE UNDER any CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!
I have paid for multiple vacations only to have failure for reservations upon arrival on 2 trips. another trip is scheduled this month and now finding out no reservation has been made and for over 3 weeks no one will answer the phone or call me back. 7 people have already purchased plane tickets for that vacation. I have 3 more vacations I purchased in advance that I can't get anything done with. I've spent hours and hours on hold and sending emails hoping for a response but nothing. less than a year ago I would have been all about referring this business. I'm not sure what went wrong.
My family, my friends and I reserved and paid for our vacation at Mexico. Paid the amount of money that The Resort Place was selling them for. Then day before our departure day, I received a phone call from Dora and she said that she can't pay for our vacation because she has some problems with her bank account. Dora E. asked us to take our credit cards and pay the amount at the resort just in case the payment is not going to go thru. The whole vacation was we tried to call her and asked her to pay and she didn't. All he time she said I m trying. Never called us to tell what was going on, we always had to call her from Mexico. Then she paid some of the amount. When we came back she told us that she will pay the rest and until this day she didn't pay us back the sum a little over 2,500 dollars. I call her some times a couple times a week and she tells me that she will pay and I dont get anything from her. Please help me out. I don't know what else I can do. The whole group was so unsatisfied with this vacation trip plus she still owe us money!! Also she gave us vacation vouchers for future trips. If she can't pay us what she owe us, how can she lie and say that she will give us free vacation. Every week I call her and she lies that she will pay and it never happened since November 2015 and now is April 2015.

I did once and I had a worse experience ever.
Hotel was not booked... I did noticed them 2 month ahead.
After my stay hotel charged me for whole stay.
Agency never answer to my questions and never pay me back.

I have purchased a vacation package (3 weeks of vacation) from Resort Place.
The Resort Place let me to use only a half of it.
CEO (Dora E.) promised to give me a 50% refund. It's been over 2 months, and all of my calls and email attempts to contact them are being ignored.
These people are liars and scammers.
