On August 20, 2014, [redacted] (customer) was offered an extension for the month of September with the agreement that the customer would call back
to the office to make the August payment in addition to the required $50 extension fee. At the time of the arrangement, the above account...

On August 23, 2014, customer called to the office and set a check by phone payment of $567.83 (inclusive of the $50 Extension Fee) for August 25, 2014 to
cover the August payment. C&F Finance Company began the extension process per agreement until the above mentioned payment was returned by
customer’s bank on August 28th.
To conclude, C&F Finance Company is willing to work with [redacted] however did not anticipate funds being returned by the bank.

Our policy at C&F Finance Company is to start contacting customers on the 1st day they are past due. From our records, I can see that several calls are being made per day but to different phone numbers that you have listed on the account and not 3-5 times per...
number. Another factor for the urgency and importance of the phone calls and to speak to you is that your account is in a Repossession Redeemed status. What this means is that your vehicle was repossessed previously and you were able to redeem. C&F Finance Company follows the [redacted] and has no intentions of harassing or abusing customers. C&F Finance Company received an electronic application from [redacted] on 12/17/2015. The application was in the name of [redacted], 37 View Drive, Fairfield OH, 45014. The application that [redacted] submitted to C&F Finance Company was used in connection with a credit...
transaction for the purpose of extension of credit. The application that C&F Finance Company received from [redacted] was used for the permissible purpose to review the applicant’s credit in accordance with FCRA. If Ms. [redacted] did not apply for credit at [redacted], she should complete the attached Identity Theft package in its entirety.
