Had a great experience with Chad and his company replacing my roof I originally contacted Chad (and several other companies) because I though I simply needed a new roof due to age and condition Chad was the only company who thought the roof would qualify for hail damage replacement - and he took care of the entire process The insurance company agreed and got the entire roof covered Once we got the claim approved, I worked with Chad to select the specific cedar shakes- grade, thickness, taper sawn vs hand split, etc We ended up going with premium quality and the shakes were special ordered The installation crew was great Very professional, worked extremely hard and always cleaned every day The crew chief (Tony) provided me with frequent updates via text messages We are very happy with the roof and ShakeGuys

Hail storm brought dozens of mailers, phone calls and door-to-door solicitors all promising to take care of the damage and deal with the insurance company You did not have to deal with very many of these people before it was crystal clear that Shake Guys knew more about cedar roofs than anyone else, gave a thoughtful and honest assessment of the situation, & understood the claims process better than my insurance agent did It took over a year before my insurance company finally honored my contract and paid for the damage I could not have done it with Shake Guys' very patient help True professionalism before and after the roof replacement Great people to deal with

Outstanding experience with The Shake Guys We experienced hail damage and Chad from Shake Guys was able to help me through the entire settlement process Once settled, we reached a fair price for the roof and the entire installation process was much less invasive as we anticipated Quality workmanship and they didn't nickel and dime me at all for small issues that were noticed when the original roof was removed Great team from owners to installers Probably the best contractor we've used since we've owned the house (years) I would strongly recommend this firm for any roof related work

I evaluated different roofing companies before I saw The Shake Guys vehicle in my neighborhood I gave them a call and had a real honest, comforting, and extremely knowledgeable conversation with one of the owners, Chad Not only did he explain the process in person to me, he continued to be accessible via phone and/or email throughout the project I am quite handy but not experienced in the roofing side which I greatly appreciated Chad and his team with being certain I fully understood everything that was going to be performed Often companies follow one set path to a project/service and leave the customer in the dark - not The Shake Guys When scoping the project, I was provided with various options to decide on which allowed me to feel in control and with no surprises In addition to Chad, the project manager and workers were A+++ in the cleanup and workmanship It's people like The Shake Guys that put customers at ease while receiving top quality work!

We had a roof damaged in a hail storm It took several inspections and meetings with the insurance adjustor to get a replacement roof approved, and Chad at the Shake Guys was instrumental in convincing them that the claim was legitiamte The work was done well, on the schedule that they proposed, and on budget They were very responsive fo all of our concerns and worked very hard to satisfy any special requests we had As an example, my wife keeps an extensive garden, and it was very important to protect many sensitive plants around our house The Shake Guys took great care around the gardens, and effectively tarped extensive areas around the house to protect my wife's work The gardens were in the same condition after the roof was installed as it was before
The entire process was transparent and contained no surprises It was very businesslike

First class organization from top to bottom. Trying to sell our house with concerns by the prospective buyers, we had four different companies evaluate our roof due to hail damage and got five opinions. Shake Guys took detailed pictures and convinced insurance to cover a complete replacement, even gutters. They expedited the job to assist with closing, called with every update to scheduling, and two levels of field bosses checked that everything was perfect. Clean-up was immaculate. Crew worked sunrise to sunset. Neighbors stopped to complement finished product. They even provided rooftop photos for our records and for the new owners. Couldn't ask for anything more.
