I had an excellent experience with the customer service aspect of First Class BooksI had ordered a book in error thru the marketplace of another vendor, with the book being sold and shipped by First Class Books A phone call to First Class Books was handled with courtesy and understanding, and the order was cancelled the next day after I obtained the correct order number from the marketplace vendor I was more than satisfied with the service, especially considering that it was my mistake

SHERWIN-WILLIAMSLEGAL DEPARTMENT August 27, By email and USMail *** *** Revdex.com, IncEuclid Ave., 4th Floor Cleveland, OH 44115-*** Re: Complaint #*** Dear Ms***: Complainant is demanding a refund for gallons of paint
because he was not informed of the return policy prior to his purchasePrior to purchasing his paint, Complainant had worked with a Sales Associate and a Color Consultant in a Sherwin-Williams paint storeIn response to Complainant's request for a paint that was washable and durable, the Sales Associate recommended CashmereComplainant was shown a board which was demonstrated the different sheens in which Cashmere was availableThrough discussion and demonstration, Complainant chose CashmereNext, Complainant worked with a Color Consultant to choose the color that the Cashmere was to have been tintedHaving made his decision on the type and sheen of paint, Complainant took a color chip to the sales counter where his Cashmere paint was tinted to the color of his choice and shakenThen Complainant's paint was loaded into his vehicleComplainant's contractor was at Complainant's house when he arrived, apparently ready to apply the paint to the wallsThe contractor allegedly told Complainant that he should have chosen a matte finish to better accommodate future touch-upsWe disagree with the contractor's opinion regarding touch-ups as a repair made with any finish of paint will have to been done using the exact same application method as the paint was originally applied to the surface: a professional painter would be able to perform such a taskThe contractor had conferred with Complainant prior to his purchase of the paintThe contractor had given Complainant his account number to use, which provided Complainant with a professional discountIf the contractor had a preference as to the type of paint to be used, it should have been voiced to Complainant before sending him to make his first ever purchase of paintBetter yet, the contractor could have purchased the paint on behalf of his client.Complainant returned to the store a short time later and told the Assistant Manager that the paint was "messed up"Even though there is a no return policy on tinted paint, the Assistant Manager offered to mix additional paint, in sheen, at a 50% discountComplainant rejected this offerThe Cashmere paint was taken home and applied by the contractorCustomer Service is important to Sherwin-WilliamsOur offer to mix additional paint for Complainant, at a 50% discount, still stands.Very Truly Yours, *** ** *** *** ***

Dear Ms. [redacted]: This complaint arose from the alleged failure of H&C Concrete Stain purchase by Complainant at Sherwin-Williams Store #2019 in Lake Park, Florida. Complainant applied the product to her lanai and patio area herself and, upon cleaning with a pressure washer this year, the...

product began to flake. Sherwin-Williams has refunded the cost of Complainant's product purchases. Complainant also requests reimbursement for the cost of labor to prepare and recoat the affected lanai and patio surfaces. Because customer service is important to Sherwin-Williams, the company is offering to pay for labor as noted above. Complainant must submit three reasonable, written estimates to Store #2019; Complainant may request estimates from contractors of her own choice. Sherwin-Williams will reimburse Complainant for the lowest of those three estimates, in exchange for a written release of her claim. Very truly yours, [redacted]

Complainant states that Sherwin-Williams reported a judgment lien to a credit reporting agency, for a judgment in 2010 that he satisfied in 2011. Further, Complainant claims that the note of the judgment on his credit report is holding up a real estate transaction. The Sherwin-Williams Company does...

not report delinquent accounts directly to any credit reporting agency. If a delinquent account is turned over to a collection agency for action, that agency can report the bad debt. As is the case with Complainant, a collection lawsuit was filed and the subsequent judgment was noted on the docket of the trial court, thus creating a public record.A USA.gov website page describes the Credit Reporting process and how credit scores are calculated:Credit reporting is a system lenders can use to decide whether or not to give you credit or a loan and how much interest they can charge you for it.Your credit report is based on the bills payments you have missed or been late paying, loans that you have paid off, plus your current amount of debt.A credit report contains information on where you work and live, how you pay your bills, and whether you’ve been sued, arrested, or ?led bankruptcy.Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) gather this information and sell it to creditors, employers, insurers, and others. The most common type of CRA is the credit bureau. (http://www.usa.gov/topics/money/credit/creditreports/bureaus-scoring.shtml)Sher... Williams does not report commercial accounts to any credit bureaus and can not be held responsible for any information contained in public records or the report of any Credit Reporting Agency.Yours very truly, [redacted]OSBA Certified ParalegalTelephone: (216) 566-2433Facsimile: (216) 515-4400

[redacted]Jun 2 [redacted] Today I was contact my the district manager of Sherwin Williams. He offered me a couple different options on resolving my issue and was willing to do whatever I wanted to make it right. I am satisfied with the outcome and will continue to use...
