When do I get what I am paying for?
Every Sun. you say that I will be getting FREE circulars in my Sun. delivered paper. Since my former deliverer retired, I never have gotten ANY! I just gave my deliverer, (Michele Rudelt), a very generous gift and I still after MANY phone calls, to your delivery service, do NOT get them! I have gotten the paper delivered for 20 YEARS, and get NO response from you people. Why?

I HAVE BEEN BUYING THE SUNDAY PAPER FOR THE LAST 45 YEARS. THEY HAVE RAISED THE PRICE TO $6.00 SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST 8 WEEKS. THEIR EXCUSE IS "WE HAVE PUT INSERTS IN". TODAY 11/15/2020 I OPENED THE PAPER PAPER IN THE STORE TO SEE WHAT THESE INSERTS WERE AND I WAS NOT IMPRESSED! I HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT PAY $6.00 FOR SOMETHING I CONSIDER PRICE GOUGING AND TRYING TO FORCE SOMETHING ON ME.

Why the POOR delivery service - Every day our paper is late - shoulder be here by 7 am we are lucky to get it by 9 am. No matter how many times you call the answer is always the same & the problem never gets corrected. Really poor way to run a business

No paper again this weekend- and when I actually get the paper, it is still being delivered to the wrong house... I have never seen service this bad in my life. It has been a year and they cant get it right. There is no customer service at all!

did not mention in m,y review send three min ago cannot contact customer service line is always busy. my first complaing was answered three weeks ago. since then am kept on hold twenty min.or more and finally hang up. a robot keeps telling me to text to get response. this is not a good response.

have been calling customer service to report my subscription is from thurs thru sunday.
called to report was still receivfing ad full week of papers. told it would be taken care of . Am now receiving the Wednesday paper also// who can this be resolved?I would like to take to somebody instead of on line/////

did you ever try calling the star ledger you get that recording and you always get the message all agents are busy after trying 3 times and waiting for 20 minutes to that stupid music I believe they only have one telephone operator it's terrible

Well, where do I start!? Constant not getting it delivered or getting half or like this past sunday I was goven the daily record instead. Anytime I hve called I hear we will get you a new one by 2pm. Never comes! I call again. Get credited but always get charged. I call again report missed or partial deliveries and never get then. Recently I was spoken rudely by a rep and them disconnected at the 230 mark when speaking to a supervisor. All I want is a refund of my payments since all of the problems have started goes back to july 2017!I plan to go elsewhere to buy the paper. I want my account caneled and a full refund for the year!

Since October of 2017, I had nothing but problems with delivery from the carrier. I have called many times yelling and screaming after paying my bill in full in which the carrier has missed deliveries in which I am constantly getting credited for one day extension and also promising me a recovery paper by 2:00 which never came as well. After paying my bill there are many days I dont even get a paper. Also the carrier never delivers me the right paper as I am of English speaking and have received to date Chinese papers I am constantly picking up on my property. There customer service is rude, they each tell a different story in regards to deliveries, in which better training is needed. I spoke to several supervisors who keep u on wait for several minutes and after waiting they all say my apologies ur experiencing difficulty with ur carrier or deliveries all they do is document the issue and further pass the buck to the district manager who after a 72 hour wait never and still to this day don't return calls. I am in the process to contacting the CEO in regards to each and everyone of them as I made several requests to fire the carrier not doing his job right.

I have been contacting the star ledger since sept. 16,2017 trying to get my delivery on my front porch. I have called numerous times, written to every name listed on the second page of the ledger and complained to supervisor and manager. I have received 4 weeks free subcription added on but still cannot get anyone to communicate to the delivery person that I am elderly, have physical problems and would like my paper delivered to the front porch and not on the driveway near the street which is very busy. The previous delivery person had no problem but this person whizzes by, tosses the paper out the passenger window and where ever it lands is good enough for him/her. Now I want to cancel my subscription but know I will not get a full refund, so I will wait until I get all of my subscription and hopefully the free month as well and then cancel it.
On days that I did not receive a paper I was told "it would be delivered", never was; "there was a production problem", never was because the local stores had it in stock - yes I paid to get a copy; now what are my choices of getting a refund? Getting the paper on my porch? Or even stopping delivery at the end of subscription plus 4 free weks?

Going downhill quickly! Where do I start, first, I have already cancelled home daily delivery about a year or so ago. Moved into my house in 1985 and began home delivery. My home delivery person was excellent until about 8 -10 years ago. This is when the person delivering the newspaper changed and so did my level of service. 3 residents were getting their papers delivered. Certain days we all received the paper, and other days I would only be the one that did not. That was the beginning of the end of my home delivery service. I then decided to go digital, well this has been a chore as well. The method of accessing the digital version has changed several times. Last couple of months my wife needed to "login" several times before being able to access the daily edition. Over the last 3 days, I haven't been able to access the edition for that day, needing to authenticate my subscription, doing that, saving, and getting a response of registration
successful, but still no luck. I sent numerous emails to customer service, but no response. I'm this close to cancelling digital as well. It appears to b e a trend toward shutting down its doors for good.

Review: I ordered a 16 week special offer trial with Star Ledger for $31.84 beginning in June and wanted the service stopped after the 16 week newspaper delivery.

I am being continually charged at a regular price of $18 from Nov 2013 onwards (Nov 2013, Dec 2013 and Jan 2014) but the delivery of the newspaper was stopped as desired.

I am being charged for a service that I did not want and was not getting.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund the charges back to me ($54 in total)

Review: A news story was written that is being used to cyber stalk and cyber harass me online. Someone is manipulating the search optimization to keep this story at the top of the internet so that I will be tarnished and defamed. NJ.com editor wrote a story almost a year ago. The story has thousands of links and tags to manipulate the ranking to the top of the internet site. The story is damaging and part of what the political operatives used to punish and retaliate against me for doing the right thing and not participating in their local corruption. Since I filed that federal lawsuit, I have been on pornographic, arrest and mugshot sites that have been part of the Political attacks. Unfortunately, NJ.COM played right into the game and has been an entry to these attacks against me. The story is linked to the lawsuit that has my private information, although public online. The fact that someone is purposely manipulating page rank means they want to internationally keep these misleading and horrible political stories online. These are politically orchestrated arrests and political meddling into jobs to get other fired and removed. The final part of the bullying stages is using social media to report these politically orchestrated stories then use search engine sites to keep old, damaging stories at the top of the page. This is what makes it difficult for innocent people like myself to move on and return back to a good quality of life. The information is on the web for billions of people to see. I don't know if the editor was paid to write the story of if someone from the political circles paid into advertising to keep this story on line. I ask that it be removed.Desired Settlement: Remove the story and link listed below. Perhaps they could robot the story or simply remove so the trolls and political operative will cease to further cyber bully, harass and stalk me. Please have story removed. SEE BELOW LINK. I will be grateful. I need to move on with my life and this story has made it difficult for me to resume back to a normal life. Please help me in getting this removed. I can no longer handle this harassment, it's destroying my life. Removing this story will allow me and my family to regain peace of mind. I sincerely hope nj.com will have a heart and do the right thing to stop this political harassment. They will be blessed for it. Thank you.

Review: I placed an apartment ad in last Sunday's issue of the Star Ledger. I don't believe it ran. I've called the Star Ledger several times and left messages with the reprsentatives. I spoke to a woman named [redacted]. I indicated I wanted to speak to a manager. She said all the managers were busy on the phone. No one has called me back. I think my refund is for approximately $100.00

The confirmation number for the ad is [redacted].

Also, this company is not running my ads when I place an ad and pay for it.Desired Settlement: i'd like a refund. Also, this company has to run my ad when I request one and pay for it.

Review: For the last two weeks we have been not able to receive our newspaper. The Star Ledger will continue to advise that its' coming however the paper will not arrive. When I contacted them today (2/6/2015) in regards to cancellation [redacted] the manger on duty advise me that I had to wait three days to cancel the paper. To me with the poor service that I have been receiving that did not seem customer service friendly. When I asked as to why it had to be this outcome all she simply reply is "because that is why." She did not have excellent customer service skills and not understanding that The Star Ledger did not appreciate my business. Over the past year I have gone at least 1-2 days without receiving my paper on time.Desired Settlement: Simply to get my refund in a timely matter.
