Review: I have been renting a storage space for years and today on 10/** I tried to go to my storage and couldn't get in and I have always had 24 hour access. So when I called today they said I never had 24 hour access and I would have to pay 30 dollars more a month for 24 hour access.I told them when rented the space they said it was 24 hour access that is why I rented it . they said the promotion was over I said what promotion I've been here for years the promotion just ended now they said yes. I don't understand how they can just say that after years of paying faithfully for years and having 24 your access thank you hope you can help because I think there just illegally trying to get more money from.Desired Settlement: To keep my 24 hour access without paying more

Our Access hours to our building is and always was since we open the building Mon-Wen 7am-7pm and Thurs- Sat 7am-8pm and Sunday 8am-5Pm, we do have a service of 24 hour access but that is a charge of $30 monthly extra. and we offer this only to businesses that need 24 hour access, we don not want people hanging around our property after hours. If A customer has a issue and needs the 24 hour access for 1 time we will allow this as a courtesy. Building Access hours And Store Access Hours are clearly posted at Office Entrance and Building Entrance also the Gate Entrance. Also our contracts are all month to month so if the customer is not happy with service they are more then welcome to close the account! Fred

Review: Charged for a storage unit I did not use. In March, a manager told me I would be refunded and they would follow up, but I am yet to hear back despite repeated requests.
DETAILS: In February, I made a tentative storage request when a sales rep reached out to me. I followed up the next day to confirm I would not need the unit, but my card was charged anyway. The manager is never in when I call and other reps never follow up with me when they tell me they will.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge refunded to me in the amount of $77.49.

We can not locate any of this customer information the customer may have been given refund under other card but the customer must dispute with credit card company, this customer was notified I am thinking they don't want to dispute with credit card co because they already had a credit to a different card for same charge.fred
Review: Making unauthorized charges to card. Some units were being charged when they were already closed out. The would not give me any documents as to what their policies are. [redacted] ([redacted]) stated that they were billed on 7/**/14. The paper work from self storage started on 7/**/14. They also cancelled insurance without authorization.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for all unauthorized charges.

On July [redacted] 2014 [redacted] rented 3 storage units, signed contracts and on Sept [redacted] 2014 she closed 2 of the rooms, keeping unit #[redacted] she was unable to pay rent so she had a agency contact us that they would pay a couple months rent for her on Dec * 2014 her rent was never paid, she received 2 late notices and finally paid her outstanding bill on Dec ** 2014, Once a customer becomes late for non payment they loose the insurance unit they renew and pay the policy. when she paid on Dec [redacted] 2014 she never paid for Insurance al she paid for was rent and her late fees, during these last months customers and staff have noticed she had food in her unit she was asked 3 times that food is not allowed in your unit, on March * I noticed the food my self, and I asked her to please vacate her space that she is going against the policy and contract. I sent her a email telling her that we would not charge her any rent for April but she needed to vacate before the month of April was over, she responded that she was going to vacate before end of month March. we have not charged her any thing but her rent and fees that he had. most of the time she had a agency paying here rent, at one point she asked if the agency payed up a couple of months rent would we refund the rent to her if she vacated, we responded with we refund the person who pays the rent (The Agency). not the customer Please contact me if you need anything.[redacted]
Review: my boyfriend had a storage unit in the building [redacted] myself and him are no longer together so I got a bigger unit in the same storage and moved my things in it the unit is under my name the other unit was under [redacted] I did not sign any contract on [redacted] storage only onj my own the owner has put a lockl on my storage that is paid for until the end of the month and told me I am not accessing any of my belongings unless I pay [redacted] storage he said he can do what he wants I told him I wasnt even on [redacted] contract thats between u and him I shouldnt have to pay for the stoareg at all and I followed there policy I went in on the tenth day and told them im moving to a bigger storage in there building I asked them for prices the price I coulkd afford was on the second floor so I opened a contract in my name on the second floor and got a mover guy to movge the things to my bigger storage by the end of august they have it on camera that the storage was empty by the end of august now the owner has told me the price I got for my storage im not getting he raised it so high I cant afford that and I wont access my storage that is paoid for on the second floor in my name until I pay [redacted] storage I really dont know what to do this is discusting the way im being treated also his staff member gave me the price I didnt know that I got a discount based on being a new customer they are saying me and [redacted] are family and I shouldnt get that discount I signed the contract for me and [redacted] are not married how are we family??? and we are not even together this is so unfair I dont know where to turn I am being extorted to pay for a STORAGE THAT IS NOT EVEN IN MY NAME THERE IS NO PAPERWORK SIGNED IN MY NAME FDOR THAT UNIT AND ALSO MY PRICES ARE BEING RAISED AS THEY ARE SAYING IM FAMILY TO HIM WHEN WE ARE NOT EVEN RELATED AND MY STORAGE IS NOW BEING LOCKED AND I CAN NOT ACCESS MY IMPORTANT BELONGINGS UNTIL I PAY FOR HIS STORAGE AND MY STORAGE PRICE IS RAISED NOW IT IS HORRIBLE THAT STORAGE WAS EMPTY BY OCTOBER IM BEING EXTORTEDDesired Settlement: TO STOP TRYING TO GET ME TO PAY A STORAGE THAT IS IN MY EX BOYFREINDS NAME AND TO KEEP THE SAME PRICE I SIGNED AND PAID FOR IN MY BIGGER STORAGE UNIT AND TAKE THEIR LOCK OFF AS IT IS PAID AND THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO HOLD MY THINGS MY STORAGE IS PAID

This customer is trying to get over on discounts and not following policy on vacates she was on her boyfriends account and she tried vacating it to get another unit under another discount. She owes for the boyfriends account and once she pays I will give her one more month discount and not another. This is a customer trying to play the system back in February she called facility stating her boyfriend stold her stuff.
