Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I have attached an example of the correspondance by text that has occurredAs you can see it has been like pulling teeth to get any information...the example being a Dec 4th text saying "at Chevy store" then no wordI did not ask about tag because this reached climax in last few days and I realized in going over dates that we were well past the "day" time frame for tagsIn addition...I have been to Penland numerous times since November and had been told my several employees that I would be NOTIFIED when tags arrived...and that typically took at least daysThis complaint is not and has never been about tags...I mentioned it as further example of how everything has been a hassle with this dealershipNice attempt by them to distract from issue...and I will not keep wasting my time with their attempts to distract from meat of complaint.Let me reiterateThis complaint is about a breach of contract and dishonest business practicesI am not the only client publically stating these issuesThis vehicle should not have been sold with a promise of a working dvd player within days (was assured of this profusely by their management) if they could not deliverFrankly, Im now nervous to let them touch my vehicle due to their practices even if they did supposedly want to "replace" the dvd player for a THIRD timeIn addition, no one buys a vehicle for $13k expecting the check engine light to come on within minutes of driving off lotI don't think it's a far stretch to feel swindledAs to my "multiple calls using profanity" to finance manager Joey...the only time I called him was on 11th...after no contact since 4th and after hearing the warranty company was playing gamesI again requested (as in person) that they do the right thing and allow me to return vehicle based on major mechanical issues and a non honored agreeement to get dvd player workingWhen Joey stated unwillingness and informed me they were still "looking" for a dvd player I told him this was "bs." At which point he told me to do whatever I needed to doHence my complaintPretty sure as a single mom of forking over $13k to a dealership thats been running me in circles the description was justifiedI wont respond to any further "bs" from this dealershipBut I have been in contact with several others who have similar and worse issues with this dealershipIm not a big fan of folks who take advantage of others to make a quick profit Regards, C [redacted] M [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint First either way I was told that the vehicle was in good condition , either way their business practices at the #location aren't professional and they have different people in and out , so even when I went back there on May 27th to get the correct warranty paperwork none of the original people where there except for the older African American gentlemanI had not had the proper warranty paperwork to began with ! The particular people that were in there told me to that the issue that I was having would be taken care of with the drive-shaft and it wasn't warranty or no warranty that was something the business had replaced when they purchased the vehicle this is what I was told ! This car drives awkward and anyone being honest can say that , I made a horrible mistake here these people could care less, how long have they been with GWC ? This vehicle is breaking down slowly and I wish someone other than the warranty company that they have can check this out! I do not trust this company how do you sell things as if they are in perfect condition , do they do Carfax on used vehicles ? I sure should have just never had anything like this happen to me this vehicle has shifting problem that are apparent and damage wear and tear underneath vehicle, they use in-house mechanics who would not even properly help me I feel at a loss for all of this the car is no better than the year old car I had and traded in it's given me headaches and I haven't even had it like that ! It's not worth it and as far as the financing company they don't care either they aren't any better lesson learned first and last time ! Regards, M [redacted] L [redacted]

I do not accept their reasons for no refundI was employed at the time of both paperwork signed until the day of putting the gps in the vehicle I found out the same day they didAnd their sign says if finance is achieved no refunds will be returned there was no finance period with two letters one stating pending and one says can not finance at this timePoint Blank there was No FinanceSign doesnt say loss of Job Income no Refunds

The GWC Contract was given 5/27/after I complained about the problems I was having with the car / Drive shaft in which they stated that it had been replaced and had a warranty The original warranty didn't state much "Buyers Guide" , I was told that the clerk had since been fired and that it wasn't an actual warranty with that piece of paperI was asked to pay $and that they would cover the rest , in which I did not because it wasn't my errorOn the purchase agreement it shows the odometer 187425?? So much doesn't feel right about this vehicle please know that i'm not trying to get out of so much of the payment but the vehicle , this vehicle has a history. They owe me a emergency break pedal cover that was never delivered to me , shady unprofessional business I do not feel comfortable dealing with them alone

I apologize about the confusion on the DVDI only answer the complaints after speaking with the parties involvedI didn't know about the side note on the WE OWE formBut we are at the mercy of the man who installs them and the dealership to programWe can't control thoseFirst of all we NEVER did anything to alter the performance/sounds of the brakes and such claims are seriously misguided!! We did not sell a vehicle with any known mechanical issuesThis car was purchased at an auction under Green light conditionsThat mean that it is mechanically soundA simple call to America's Auto Auction and they can explain the policyGREEN" Light – the seller represents that the vehicle is sound and subject to all arbitration policies. We fully believed the vehicle was in sound working orderYet again, we have no control over the warranty companyThose issues need to be addressed to GWC Warranty

Ms*** *** was contacted on several occasions from 4/until 10/She would not return calls or come to the dealership as she was months behind in car paymentsMs*** finally contacted Penland Automotive in 10/to give location of the vehicle for voluntary repossession
The car was repossessed by Penland Automotive and the complaint was resolved.Thank you for your help in this matter and please feel free to contact me for more information if needed.Sincerely,*** ***

Flowery apologetic speech doesn't fix my $14k vehicle with no working dvd player and major mechanical issues

C*** M***

I will show this estimate to the ownerAnd find out if this is an option

Attached is the estimate from *** ***In addition I just had to spend $in deductible at mechanic for the repair on timing belt and $on rental car while vehicle was at mechanicThankfully the warranty company did have a change of heart and authorized the service without requiring mechanic to pull apart firstAt least warranty company did right thing. Thank you,C*** M***

Once the car and customer are contracted it is considered "financed" by both the dealership and the lenderSo he was financed and once the lender started the verification process it was discovered he had been firedWe have all of the signed contracts in house

Ms K***, Thank you for your assistance in this matterAfter speaking with you, Penland apparently decided to take care of dvd issue satisfactorily and issued me a check for the cost of the dvd repairThis is an acceptable resolution to the dvd situation and since the warranty company agreed to handle the other mechanical situation appropriately, I will accept that as resolution as wellWhile I am still unhappy with the trouble I had to go through to obtain resolution and still feel quite skeptical regarding Penland's denial of knowledge of vehicle issues considering the timing...I am willing to let it go since all is well that appears to have ended wellI would like to withdraw my formal complaintPlease let me know if there is anything else needed from meHappy holidays. With appreciation,C*** M***

Ms M***'s tag has been available for pick up at the dealership since NovemberShe has called multiple times to sling profanity at the finance manager but hasn't ever asked if her license plate is inWe are now working with the GMC/ Chevrolet store to locate a replacement for the stereoThey no longer manufacture this stereo so it is taking much longerThe only option available it wait on a refurbished one with a warranty to become available

I am sorry that Ms L*** isn't satisfied with her carUpon further checking she did have an actual warranty through GWC WarrantiesIt was only a small month warranty but she had some coverageIt is also her responsibility to come back in and get her brake pedal coverShe would only needed to call and ask about itShe bought a used vehicle and all used vehicle have wear and tear on them All of customers have the option to take the vehicle they are interested in to be checked outAs for her relationship with the lender, that's something we don't have anything to do with

I'm sorry that Mr *** feels these were added after the factThey weren'tThey have been here since my employment here and they remain in all offices and the main area to this dayThis is a policy held by many new and used car dealershipsAnyone is welcome to come in and talk to any of the finance managers and the policy will be explained againHis application was approved and funding was achieved and he walked away

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  In addition to his blatant lie regarding timeframe (please see attachment) and his laughable claim of "longterm" dvd repair--- they couldnt even get a dvd inserted day supposedly fixed, this complaint wasnt about the brakes (however frustrating and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know these folks have ways of keeping brakes from squealing till they sell you the vehicle). The brakes were just added frustration but understood to be maintenance. The issues at hand are the breach of contract in not taking care of dvd system within acceptable time frame, selling me a vehicle with known major engine problems- hence the light on as I drove off lot, and selling me a warranty that supposedly is peace of mind which is actually requiring above reasonable measures to even authorize a repair. Oh and let me add that 61 days later I have still not been called to pick up my tag for this vehicle which I also paid them directly for.
