My wife ordered $192 worth of costume products from the Tudor Shoppe online. They wasted no time in collecting via my credit card, but numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email resulted in no reply and no validation that the order was being fulfilled. After 12 days, I left them another voicemail and an email that I am cancelling the order. I have also contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge for lack of delivery. There are numerous other similar complaints against the Tudor Shoppe. I will take my business elsewhere.

The Tudor Shoppe has come under new ownership at the end of August. The previous owner had just stopped working and returning contacts from customers, and was forced to sell. I happened to place a order right before the company was sold. Some of the products did not fit, so I sent them back for exchange and after a week or 2 with no word or replacement clothes, I called the number on the website. I ended up talking to [redacted] the new owner who explained what had been happening. Even though he legally did not have to help me, he took the time to talk through what may have happened to the products I sent back and sent me replacements. [redacted] really does want to help and would rather talk to you on the phone to understand what you would want. If you have questions or concerns about the Tudor Shoppe from past reviews, please consider that was the old owner and the new one is trying to turn the business around. Call and talk with him before you place an order if it would make you feel better.

Failure to pay for goods received for resale.On 6/29/2015 [redacted] of The Tudor Shoppe (www.tudorshoppe,com) sent me a request for a decorative framed picture that he would resell. This item (at a cost to me of $87.50) was sent to him a few days later.Since then I have not received payment ($87.50) for this. Phone calls to him ([redacted]) go answered as do e-mails ([redacted]).Desired SettlementPayment to me of $87.50 owing.Case resolved on Sept. 8, 2015. Merchant has sent overdue payment to me.

The Tudor Shoppe shipped the wrong size dress (ordered S, got XL- I have copy of printed order confirmation).Called 3x & emailed 2x -NO response!Order # XXXXX, shows I ordered product XXXXXX Emerald Dream Gown Size: Small. Received correct dress, but in XL. Packing slip also indicated XL. It is written on their website that you can call during business hours, but they prefer e-mail. I called & emailed within 30 min. of receiving wrong dress size, this was Friday afternoon, so I followed up with a email (can provide copies). As I had not received any response (and I indicated this was very time sensitive as I would need to receive correct item in less than a week or would need to order elsewhere) I called back Mon morning and forwarded the email again with additional note that this is time sensitive. Still received no answer, so I called again in the afternoon, once again left message. No response via email or phone from The Tudor Shoppe!Desired SettlementI would like them to overnight the correct item & size, if they have one, so long as it can be done by this Wed. 6/25, barring that, I want them to TELL me they can't do it, refund my full purchase amount, including shipping ($109.50) and mail a call tag so I can return the wrong item without cost to me.Business Response We contacted Ms. [redacted] with our apologies for our error, and provided a pre-paid return label so that the item may be returned to us at no cost. At that time, we also offered a full refund, provided the item was returned unworn, and unused.We received the item back in acceptable condition on July 1st, 2014 and issued a full refund to Ms. [redacted]'s credit card this morning 7/2/2014. An e-mail receipt was sent to Ms. [redacted] confirming this refund and our receipt of the item in acceptable condition.We are not open on weekends. We also frequently close early on Friday afternoons to prepare for Renaissance festivals, as clearly pointed out on the "Contact Us" page of our website. Unfortunately, during the time Ms. [redacted] was trying to contact us, we also experienced an e-mail service outage, which did delay our timely response by about 36 hours beyond our normal response time. This also affected our voicemail delivery service, which does arrive to us via e-mail. We did apologize for that delay, as well, but we did contact her immediately upon our receipt of the messages to provide as quick a resolution and turnaround as possible.

I returned the item, unopened and following the retailer's directions to the letter and have not received a refund.My daughter, [redacted] and I made a purchase from Tudor Shoppe online on 10/15/15: Order # [redacted] an Irish Dress ($ 135.00) and a black Peasant skirt ($50.00) plus $3.00 insurance and $14.30 expedited shipping; A total of $202.50. We received the order 2 days beyond the expected date of arrival. We no longer needed the items so returned it per all of their directions on their site on 11/02/15. I followed up the return with an email to the company. They did not reply to that or any of the many emails I sent to them. There was no working phone number that I could find. They also have three different addresses in the Raleigh area. I then sought them out on their Facebook site and they responded. They told me I had to ask my Visa card for a dispute as they had a" new Merchant credit Card Processor" that wouldn't allow them to issue a credit to us. I contacted my Visa and as Tudor Shoppe dragged it out too long, Visa could not handle any dispute. I explained to Tudor Shoppe what happened via their Facebook site as they never replied to their business email nor do they have an operable phone number. I asked for a check to be issued and no further reply from them. They have not responded to any of my many, many requests for resolution and refund though it's obvious that they are reading my inquiries. Before I seek any legal action, I prefer to try every other avenue for resolution. I understand their difficulty but that money is ours and I want it back.Desired Settlement We want our money back as we followed all of their instructions to the letter. it is NO fault of ours they had a credit card processor issue. they have the items back that we paid for and we now want our money back.

I have sent 6 emails and have not received any response back. I want my order canceled!I placed an order back on April 8th 2016. The order number is XXXXX. The first email sent on 4/23/16, was to inform the company about a change to the credit card I was going to use. No response was sent back me. The second sent on 5/12/16, third sent on 5/16/16 from a different email, fourth sent on 5/31/16 and fifth email was sent on 6/6/16 asking what was going on with my order and if there were any problems. The sixth email was about canceling my order which I sent today. This is one of the worst companies I have every dealt with. And I have been dealing with renaissance clothing companies for over 20 years. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!Desired SettlementCancel my order and destroy my credit card information.

Want to know where my order is I have not gotten it yet but have been charged. I placed my order on Saturday February 6th, 2016 and needed my order by Saturday, February 13. Have not received any items with charge to credit card.I placed my order on Feburary 6th, 2016 with the total amount of $251.95 charged to my credit card. I needed the order by Feburaray 13th and emailed three times and called twice to try and speed up my order. All emails have been ignored and I have invested a lot of money into my order. This costume is required for my job and I will be fired if I do not have my costume by Saturday, Feburary 13th. I am afraid that I will lose my job that I despretley need. The vendor shipped one of the two items I ordered. No response is given after emails are sent and phone number seems to be disconnected. I recieved the order I realized the item was not what I thought it was so I returned it to the site return adress. Fraudulent company that should be closed down. Charges Credit Cards and never ships items or responds to emails, faxes or phone calls.Ordered 4 items on 8/18 - for $190.55. Order confirmation stated that my card would not be charged until the items shipped. My card was charged on 8/19 and the items never shipped. I emailed them 3 times, called over 10 times and faxed them one time. NEVER heard back, never received an email back. No response nothing. I have contacted my credit card company to have the charges reversed (they are investigating). My order was incomplete. I was missing a shirt from my total order. My order of 08/28/2014, order number [redacted], was incomplete. I am missing the shirt from my order. There was no invoice or itemization in the package I received. I was charged the full amount for my order. I attempted to contact the company twice by email and numerous times by phone. I never received a reply to either my emails or voicemails. No one ever answered the phone at the business.
