theunlockingcompany.com is a SCAM!
Stay far away from theunlockingcompa[removed by editor].
I paid $28 for them to have my phone unlocked within 72 hours. After 96 hours I sent them an email. No response. After 144 hours (six days) I sent a text. No response. You can't call their number because it always says that they are away from the phone and they tell you to email or text. They threaten on their website to retaliate if you try to get your money back or write a negative review.

Terms and Agreement BAIT
Why do they only respond to people who give them a good review? This is a whole scam they bank on people not reading the terms and agreement! They send you all those updates like they are doing everything in their power knowing they can't unlock your phone. They clearly explain that they will blacklist your "IMEI" and if you try to do a chargeback "they will send your bank the term and agreement" and they will win and even get half of the refund back they sent to you. What a complete joke. They have done their research and word everything in their favor. What's funny is either they have an "AMAZING CORNY 4-5 STAR REVIEW" OR A 1 STAR REVIEW🤦🏾‍♂️. PLEASE KNOW YOU WILL ONLY GET HALF OF YOUR MONEY BACK! LASTLY, THE CORNY EMAIL FROM THE OWNER on how upset he is and how he ran back to the office when he found out I was not only refunded but put on the wrong list. Which was a lie I was refunded $13.26. He sends that to help them when the chargeback claim.

The company is very unprofessional they lack to proper customer service etiquette the unlocking company provided me with a code that didn't work and a set of instructions that didn't apply to resolving my situation the email replies to me from a representative of the company was tacky, and rude I would never advise anyone to do business with them due to invalid codes and poor service.

+1

They are so unprofessional!!!! They never once answered the phone and I called multiple times and at all different timesThe only response I received was email and it took them DAYS to reply backOn top of all of that the code didn't work and when I told them that, they blamed it on me, argued with me and refused to refund me my money, even though their website says "Money back guaranteed"I have never before received such bad customer service and I wish I could rate them lower than one starYou will have better luck calling your carrier and having them unlock your phone for FREE just like I did!

This company lies about delivery timeAfter demanding a refund I was told I'd receive the code within hoursIt's not the first time they've told me thisI paid them on 8/15/and nearly a month later NOTHING! And they're responses aren't very professional eitherBEWARE!!!

We reply to every emailNo scam, largest cell phone unlocking company in North AmericaThe time on the website is estimated, average, delivery timeThere's no cancellations once ordered as stated in terms and conditionsI can go on and onWe work 24/and no the voicemail isn't fullYour order is processing and will be sent as soon as we get it

Code was confirmed correctHe admitted it was acceptedAt this point, there is nothing else we can do it It might have been an unsupported sim card He opened a chargeback through his credit card anyway, so the credit card company gives him all the money back, and we lose the sale and the cost of the codeDude is a thiefCall me if you have any more questions [redacted] President

The delivery times on the website we are estimated, average times, not guaranteedThis is stated multiple times on the websiteNot to mention, in business hoursThe product was paid for and sent to the customer and they used itThis complaint was made way too early and is not justified
whatsoever

The customers code is confirmed correct from ***He never responded to if the phone ever took the codeIf the code is accepted the phone is unlocked, any other issue (sim card/ network phone) is not an unlock code issueThe code can work and there still can be problems out of our control

The unlocking has issued a refund of $satisfying my complaint-Thanks for Your Help!

What is the IMEI please because I cannot pull up a order with the information provided

Hey folks,
I placed an order with the Unlocking Company to unlock my phone so I could use a different
carrier. With 10 minutes the Unlocking Company cancelled my order saying they discovered
that they could not unlock my phone. It has been more than 2 weeks now and 3 emails to them and I've still not received my refund credited to my credit card. The refund should take 3 days at the outside. Trying to contact the Unlocking company for any reason other than placing an order is a waste of time. Think twice before you use this company. I suggest you find an alternative. They are not responsive at least and crooks at the worst. I hate having to give them even a 1 rating.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

This company lies about delivery time. After demanding a refund I was told I'd receive the code within 24 hours. It's not the first time they've told me this. I paid them on 8/15/16 and nearly a month later NOTHING! And they're responses aren't very professional either. BEWARE!!!

I let Theunlockingcompany.com scam me out of $14.99 on 9/21/2016, over a week ago. Gave them all requested information on cell phone type, etc. They never did anything in return, never a return email after an initial "sending your unlock code shortly". Don't trust them.

Code was confirmed correct. He admitted it was accepted. At this point, there is nothing else we can do it.  It might have been an unsupported sim card.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[The bottom line this that their service didn't work. No matter how hard I tried to convince them of this they wouldn't issue me a refund so I initiated a charge back to get a refund. I don't know why it didn't work just that it didn't and I can only use this phone on the original network like I did before. Regards,[redacted]

the company is very unprofessional.. they lack to proper customer service etiquette. the unlcokin company provided me with a code that didnt work and a set of instructions that didnt apply to resolving my situation . the email replies to me from a representative of the company. was tacky, and rude. Review: I paid for service to unlock my phone, they sent me the unlock code but it didn't work. It displays a message that no network service is available. I have contacted their technical support and they have made suggestions but nothing work. It's gotten to the point were they suggest it's my fault and I say the code did not work. We are at an impasse. I would like a refund. I suggested a partial refund of $25 (total was 49.95)since I think they are using a third party in their service (it may not be totally their fault).Desired Settlement: A full refund of $49.95 would be nice, but I would settle for a partial refund od $25.
