Contacted with UPS Store to deliver *** Tarheel Football Tickets to my Daughter in *** from ***. The package was next day air.
The package was mailed November 16th to arrive on November 17th. The Football Game was November 18th. The tracking number was ***. The package was lost by UPS in *** through their sorting process and the package was delivered on November 20th. The tickets were deemed worthless due to UPS losing the package. The UPS Store and UPS are now bouncing us around stating that its the others problem thus stating that they don't cover incidentals. The estimated lost was an estimated 300 dollars. This was a contact for delivery based on the $29.00 fee. I placed this amount on ***.
We filed a claim *** however they stated that they found the package and it was delivered. So the claim was closed and we are getting the run around. This is so unfair as a consumer. UPS/ UPS store lost the package in which we contacted to have delivered on a the timeline as associated with the product (Tickets).

Desired Outcome

Estimated Value of the tickets /parking. $300

I sent a college packet in this store, boxed it the presence of the employee who then sealed it. Only half of the items was delivered for $104.
On August 21,2017 I went to the UPS Store with approximately $500 worth of unopened merchandise to mail to my niece who was leaving for college. In the store, I purchased a 24X24 box, packed it with all of the items in front of the store clerk who assisted me and then sealed the box with tape, put a heavy weight sticker on it and hand wrote the weight on the sticker. The package weighed 73lbs and I paid $104 to have it shipped and delivered. The tracking number was *** and was to ship out on the following Monday and would arrive by Wednesday. The store clerk was names *** while in the store and preparing for shipping I was asked by ***if I wanted extra insurance on the package to which I replied no because I've sent packages from the store for years without problem valuing much more. When the package was received by my mom and sister, less then half of the items sent were received, the original packing slip, affixed =and sealed to the original cardboard box was literally cut off and taped to another smaller cardboard box. My first assumption was that the box may have been heavy and the remaining items may have been coming in another box. To my dismay after both calling the store and checking the tracking online the package was updated as delivered. I had my mom take pictures of the delivered items and the box and the following day I went to the store, in tears and again ***was there. I explained to her what happened and again to my dismay she told me that she had took her time in the back of the store to package the box nicely because she remembered me saying that it was for a college student. This was incorrect since I package the box myself in her presence in the front of the store and she sealed it with tape. ***then went on to take my information down and a copy of my shipping receipt and she said that her manager would call me the following day to initiate a claim, no call received. The next day I returned to the store and the Manager *** M was present. I told him the situation and he stated he would put a claim in on my behalf and that his cooperate office would follow up with my mother to initiate an investigation, they would check the hub offices to see who could have done such a thing, take action and possibly see that I'm refunded. I advised him that I would not allow them to just sweep this incident under the rug. He assured me that it would not be. Mr. M took my mothers telephone number and advised me that his corporate office would be making contact with her since she was the recipient of the package. He stated that he would call me when he made contact with his cooperate office. That was approximately two weeks since our initial contact. I know that I did not put additional insurance on the package but I am still requesting not only the $100 automatic insurance coverage and I wish to be refunded my then $104 shipping, packaging and box charges paid. I would also like an official investigation conducted into who would not only open up a sealed package and steal several items but who would cut a package label and cardboard piece out of a box and affix to another to attempt to conceal their theft. I am totally appalled that such a reputable company would hire such staff and then try to cover it up. I have not only pictures but receipts to prove this.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking not only the initial $100 insurance claim coverage but my $104 paid to ship such a large package. I would also like replaced the list of the missing items including: 5 bottles of Nivea Body Wash, 5 Bottles of Dove Body Wash, 5 bars of Dove soap, 6 Dove Deodorant, school supplies, Victoria Secret Gym Tote and 5 perfumes, 3 cans of Lysol Spray, 5 Cans of Febreeze Air Fresheners, 2 81 Count Tide Pods, 1 Shower wrap, living and kitchen dormitory supplies. I also made a college gift basket, that was stolen as well. Thx
