VAR GROUP is a dishonest and negligent property management company toward its tenants. I'm a single male who doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs. I vacated a property on 11/26/19 and as of 1/16/20, I have yet to receive my security deposit. I'm a truck driver and was rarely home. There was ABSOLUTELY no damage done to the property. Not one iota. *** the owner/broker said she felt threatened because I called upset about not receiving my security deposit. Never rent thru them.

We are sorry you feel this way, I assure you we are not in the business of retaining security deposits. We follow Texas property code strictly in regard to refund of deposits. Our records show your deposit was mailed out on 12/20/19 (Check #XXXXXX). It appears there was an issue with the mail which we have no control over.
We pulled call recordings, emails and call logs for your file and our records indicate we requested via phone that you submit a formal email request stating you had not received your deposit refund so that accounting could have another check issued and have the previously issued check stopped.
You informed us that it was inconvenient for you to check your mail because you are a truck driver. We advised you to let us know if you had still not received your refund as soon as you had a chance to check your mail again. We asked this because if USPS did finally deliver your refund initially mailed 12/20/19 that if a stop payment was issued it would delay your refund being received further.
Our records show another check was issued last week (Check # XXXXXX)shortly after you confirmed via email that you had been home again to check your mail, and after you confirmed the refund was still not received. You should already be in receipt of it. We treat all of our tenants and former tenants fairly.
In regard to our Broker feeling threatened, when our employees or staff receive threats or are subjected to abusive,belligerent language and threats to come up to our office it is something we take very seriously.Property management can be a very dangerous business and we do not take threats or language that could be construed to be against our personal safety lightly, especially over mail issues that we have no control over and that were already in the process of being corrected.

Their response time to customer issues matches with general medical community and this is something awesome which I have observed over past few months, they have given me a personal touch while dealing my property and I am still wondering, how they do same outstanding job with each customer.
I hope with progress and expansion in their business, they will keep up this high level of customer care and cost effectiveness.
Having gone through quite a few "lot-of-talk-but-no-action/result" realtors and brokers, I started off with some skepticism when I started working with *** and her agency V.A.R Group Property Management. I was proven wrong. *** is exceptional in terms of following through on her words, more importantly she produces the results we as renters/sellers look for. To top it off she and her agency are very professional, reasonably prompt, courteous, and thorough. They produce and deliver a quality product. I would definitely recommend *** and VAR group to my family and friends. For those looking for quality and results, *** would the professional to go to and to get the job done.
