I was solicited by this company for months to have my Air conditioning checked They came and checked the AC unit said it was using excess power They sold me a new comfortmaker seer AC unit with 8KW heater on Nov On Nov the fan fell off of the condenser and damaged the finsI bought new system and I want a new replacement unit I asked the company to pay me 10% of the cost or come and take their unit out and give me back my old unit They have promised way more then they delivered I would not recommend this company to anyoneI cannot trust them to fulfill the year warranty, when they don't even complete their work It has been three weeks and they have not finished putting the metal shroud on the system

When I said I would call the previous company I had dealt with (Custom Climate) he said they couldn't be trusted because the son was on drugs and in jail and besides they were going out of businessHe said my conditioner was years oldSo agreed to have a new one installed(I later found my old paperwork on conditioner and realized it was only years old They partially installed conditioner on 7/22/but did not finish covering it leaving interior exposed to the elements There is also a large piece of galvanized steel next to conditionerA perfect projectile in case of a stormI have called several times and have been unable to get them to return I was treated very rudely They also said I was not entitled to

Pushed a new AC unit on elderly customers after cold calling and selling a cheap maintenance to get in the door, then damaged home Dodging calls THIS IS TO SERVE AS A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY: 1) Called my elderly parents, like a cold call/telemarketing type call, and sold them a super cheap maintenance on their or year old AC systemWhen the technician came he told my parents that their AC was fried, pulling x the amps, that they were lucky it didn't burn their house down, said they couldn't even do the maintenance and it needed to be replaced immediatelyLiterally within an hour they had the contract signed and had begun the tear out and installation of a new unitBy the time I found out, they were already installing the new one and it was too late to stop itThey were out $ 2) On the change out sheet they marked that the condensation line was clear and flowingIt was notIt was old and brittle plastic

Coastal tried to say my A/C unit was in immediate need of replacement because it was drawing too much amperage and burning up In March of Coastal Air and heating did some work for me at my mobile in Palmetto [redacted] in [redacted] Mobile Home Park a 55+ community At that time I signed a service agreement with them giving me a free heat/air service In Oct of I had an A/C issue and called another company to correct the problem, forgetting about the service agreement with Coastal At that time I signed a service agreement with the new company Through out and I (and my sister) received numberous calls from Coastal reminding me I had a free cleaning/service due me I explained to Coastal several times that I had a service agreement with another company because I had forgotten about the one I had with them They told me to call them when the contract with the other company ran out and they would still honor the free cleaning/service Great, what

The company installed a heat pump system other than what was agreed upon In weeks of calls, they refuse to let me talk to to the president During a routine inspection of my heat pump unit on 2-9-18, the representative said there was a freon leak in the compressor (model 4TWR3030A), and that it would have to be replaced The unit had been running perfectly since its installation in 2011, and was functioning normally at the time of inspection The original air handler was a Trane, model #4TFE3F25B1D05A, installed 4-14-by Air and Energy Inc6th AveBradenton, FL - phone 941-778-0773, and had a 'variable speed fan' in the air handler After discussing the options, I decided to install a new heat pump system, and I was emphatic that the new system must have a 'variable speed fan'like the previous unit, and the salesperson (Steven Grennell) repeatedly assured me that it did Without being shown any brochures or specification sheets, I signed for the new heat pum

I have been using Coastal for awhile and recently had another maintenanceThey always explain what they are doing and if something is needs attentionRecommend using their maintenance program, it's saved me hundreds on repairs and upkeep

I am livid this company called me to conduct a FREE check up in my new home They arrived the following day and informed me that my unit needed to be replaced as soon as possible Tough sell included that it was dangerous, and would quickly stop running Also tough sell included that they had two units with a rebate left - and I'd better sign on the dotted line quickly to save $ Sure enough - after the salesperson left, it quit running Coincidence?? I think not It was running FINE before he messed with it This company is a sham I've heard of companies like this and am so pissed off that it happened to me I'll have fun sleeping in degrees tonite

We where told about Therno-Tech a few years ago when we where telling a friend about our problem w/ our plumbing company not getting the job finished properly and charging us way to muchWe call *** and he showed up that day to check out our problem and assured us he would be back the next day and fix our problemHe did and the charge was very reasonablewe have used *** multiple times on our home and a rental we have and I can tell you he is always here when he said he would be and the work is exceptionalLast year our water heater split & flooded basement & I was out of town, my wife called him & within hours he was thereI will always recommend *** to anybodyVery trust worthy

A nightmare experience --
Our AC stopped working so we called this company because our neighbor had just started using them for maintenance service
We were told our yr old system had to be completely scrapped and replaced
$for a ton unit(I thought it was to be a heat pump, but it was just cooling and resistive heat)
They installed a ton unit, took them hours over days to get it inNeedless to say, it didn't cool the building the way our old ton unit didDespite different techs out to our place, I had to be the one to point out that they put the wrong size system inThe work wasn't to code and lacked the components I paid for
Took endless hours on the phone to attempt to resolveTheir guys either didn't show up as promised, show up on a different day, and/or show up without the necessary parts
On top of it all, unbeknownst to me they had run a full charge, payment in full, before they even showed up to do the workSo I had no recourse but to try to guilt them into doing the job as specd and paid for
They steadfastly refused to reverse the charge, lied to the credit card company about the work being completed
I lost several days from workAt one point I was calling every dayEventually we gave up hoping for a satisfactory result for the work/equipment we paid for

Company will not honor warranty and is charging fees beyond my financial capability
