Purchased a stage a/c Never worked rightThey are taking my money for things not needed,
Purchased a stage a/c unit 7/23/for 6,did not work at all and my electric bills were ridiculousthey came out on 8/11/stated I needed a new TXVThey came out again on 9/3/and charged me for a kick start and surge protectorThey came out again on 8/22/and stated I need new duct workI hired another firm to check duct work and they stated all was fine
But- this company found that units 2nd stage wiring was never done So this other firm they left the 3nd stage jumper to 1stNot only did I pay FPL for poor workmanship on there part, I paid them additionally for there errorI have called several times and get nothing but the run aroundPossibly a conference call on 9/1/

air conditioning/heat pump unit installed by coastal in April of 2015, has not worked since October of
New air/heat pump unit was purchased from and installed by Coastal on 4/25/ Coastal did a one year check up on 6/21/and at that time stated the supply/return trunks needed to be replaced (should have been done when the unit was installed The unit has acted erratically since the new trunk lines were installed Call on 10/15/to ask for service (weak cooling) but never received a call back Called again on 10/29/but received no call back called again on 10/31/and a technician was finally dispatched Tech said unit had a bad evaporator coil and he would order one (unit has a ten year warranty) and call me back Never heard from anyone at coastal again Called coastal again on 11/17/to find out where the part was and when they were going to fix the unit Was told they would call the technician Never heard back from anyone again Heat pump is

I was solicited by this company for months to have my Air conditioning checked They came and checked the AC unit said it was using excess power
They sold me a new comfortmaker seer AC unit with 8KW heater on Nov On Nov the fan fell off of the condenser and damaged the finsI bought new system and I want a new replacement unit I asked the company to pay me 10% of the cost or come and take their unit out and give me back my old unit They have promised way more then they delivered I would not recommend this company to anyoneI cannot trust them to fulfill the year warranty, when they don't even complete their work It has been three weeks and they have not finished putting the metal shroud on the system

Coastal Air incorrectly installed our AC unit and we had to have it reinstalled
We had a ton AC unit installed on 3/25/by this company after they told us our old unit it was leaking Freon and unsafeThe installers cut our irrigation system, lied about it and the company only reimbursed us half of the cost to have that repairedThey put the new unit on the water sensors and cut the line - kind of hard to lie about that but they did The inspector came back times (which took years) to get the new installation passed The second time the ac guy came to fix it I had to explain to him what he needed to do so that the installation could pass inspection I am a lay person with no knowledge of AC installation I told him what the inspector had told me This summer we had a our free check up The guy from Coastal came and said everything was fine but it needed a cleaning Our garage had been cool and the unit looked like it was going to call I asked another company who

New air conditioner enclosure has not been adiquitly installedLeaving large spaces for rodents and animals to easily access under my house
When this company installed the unit I made it very clear that a few years ago I had palm rats running around under and inside the walls of my homeThat it was very important to me that it be enclosed properlyThey put chicken wire around it very hastily leaving large gaps for animals to enterThe installer of the final casement was not happy when I asked him to do it believe the actual air conditioning unit is properly installedIt was inspected by the county that issued the permit However I cannot accept the final enclosure leaving open areas for any thing to get intoI'm sure that rodents getting into the walls of my home would be very damagingIt was very costly to have my house closed up so the rodents couldn't get in a few years ago

I cannot stress enough - STAY AWAY from this company! They're quite attentive during the sales process but it ends as soon as they put in the unit It looks like Cooter was here with a couple of guys he picked up along the way - the unit looks like it's going to fall at any moment (hanging lopsided, some sort of leak, cold air blowing out where it shouldn't be, pieced together at best) and a filthy mess was left behind by the installers (hand prints and dirt all over the walls, garbage) After the initial install, a "supervisor" came to inspect before the county inspection and agreed it was horrible - so much so that he said he himself would have to come back out to make it right One month later, and no sign of him yet (big surprise!)Even the county inspector said it was a crap job and that this company would not honor their promises or their word - and he was right Several calls to the office (and I mean SEVERAL) with the same response from the same office employee: we'll call you back, we'll get someone out there, blah, blah, blah This has gone on for weeks - sadly we don't think they will keep their word so heed our warning - DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! (Hated that I couldn't give them stars!)

This company cold called about duct cleaning and did not quote a priceAfter finishing they charged $- 7/ 2018.They demanded immediate payment
Coastal Air did not give a price for duct cleaning and then demanded $for a couple of hours workThey were praying on elderly ill coupleAfter calling the company they said when they called them they "agreed" to itThere was never a discussion of price and this is WAY above the norm in this area

Coastal Air promised to do a maintenance on our A/C for # Instead they said $1,was needed for plenum repair They would not return the $
Coastal Air called everyone in Golf Lakes Park saying they were offering a special of $maintenance on A/C unitsWhen the man came, he did not do any maintenance, but instead said that we needed all new plenum trunk lines at a cost of $1, After he left, I called another company,
they came out, and said that there was no need to replace the plenum trunk lines I then called Coastal Air back and said that I wanted my $back, but they have never returned it They came on 4/1/16; Steve *** was the caller for Coastal Air

Made an appointment to get a quote on a new system.The existing one was old and not efficientThe sale rep came out and recommended a new system complete with transferring my existing UV light and replacing the air box thingTook advantage of their financing option to cover the cost of the jobWhen the installer arrived to put in the new system, he was quite funny and very knowledgeableHe mentioned that my old ducts would be better replaced as they were very worn and dirtyI agreed to replace the ducts and now have a whole new system that is cooling and heating perfectlyWould absolutely recommend the company based on their installers knowledge and great personality

Just wanted to say that the tech showed that he is a great value to the companyHe knew everything about the ac unit and was very understanding and patientI would recommend this company to anyone

I am a multiple property manager and have used Coastal Air since With the multiple units, I have had full package units installed, duct work, and dozens of service callsThe company has courteous and efficient staff who get the job done in a very timely mannerWould recommend them to anyone seeking reliable and affordable professionals

I called the after hours service and was told that I had the choice of an after hours call, or she could get the rep out the next morning between & 11amThe service rep Ras came out near the beginning of the promised time frameHe was very knowledgeable and courteous about what was wrong and what needed to be fixedHe cleaned the coils and flushed the drainTotal time took about an hour or soHe made sure the system was running and said to make sure we change our filters monthly, but check at three weeks as we have several petsI am grateful for his suggestion, at three weeks I did check and my filter was filthyI would absolutely call them again!
