I will accept these terms if the following issues are resolved:1) An additional light kit is installed to double the amount of light in the garage at no additional cost.2) The variable open and close speed is adjusted to a faster speed.3) A detailed warranty is given specifically stating the garage door opener and parts (to include the torsion spring that was installed) is covered under the warranty The current warranty I have in my possession does not state that the spring is covered under the warranty.4) Also, the Anytime Warranty states that in order for the warranty to become effective, a registration cards must be completed and sent in I did not receive a registration card to mail in Please provide a garage door opener warranty registration card.5) It also states that if a warranty call is made that there will be a service call charge and a labor charge What is the cost for these charges? This has all been discussed with the homeowner, but she requested I place our response on the BBB page.Conerns 1) The Opener is too slow -This garage door opener has a “slow start/slow stop” feature that helps reduce strain on the garage door itself. A very common issue... that comes up is cracked top garage door sections because the opener pulled too hard and too quickly on the door. Overtime, it stresses the thin metal (typically 25 GA) and eventually taco’s the door. All new garage door openers that are being manufactured these days are coming out with this feature. The industry believes that the pros out way the cons.The speed of the opener has nothing to do with the strength of the opener. Remember: the opener does not necessary “lift” you door. Think of it as a guiding hand pulling your door straight backwards. There’s a reason it’s mounted in the middle of the garage door. The true lifting force comes from your torsion springs. As long as those are balanced, your door should open very easily. 2) The Light is too dim - As mentioned, we would be happy to add a light kit to add additional light to the opener at no cost to you. We would be able to double the light that the opener produces. 3) Warranty - The warranty of the garage door opener is lifetime from the manufacturer. ATG has, hands down, the best warranty in the industry, with a no questions asked warranty policy. If you have an issue with the garage door opener, it gets fixed immediately without having to wait for parts to ship out to you etc. We carry all of the ATG components on our trucks and service the Phoenix valley 7 days a week. I certainly want you to feel like you got a good opener for the price that you had paid. I have attached a bit of literature on the features of this garage door opener for you to look over as well. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

We are schedule to take care of the customer's concerns on Friday April 13th between 10-We are going to exchange the garage door opener to a motor that the customer prefers at no additional chargeThe customer will pay us for the original service once this is completed

I know from experience that when you refund a customer based on a resolution, and then the customer turns around and isn’t satisfied, it’s a losing battleThe customer will always want more and more and more and we unfortunately had nothing left to refund on this chargeWe had made a mutual agreement and both parties were satisfiedThe customer changed his mind after the resolution and refund were madeI am not willing to continually refund this customerThere is no satisfying him.
