warranty process. Unfortunately service for appliances is completed by a third party and we are not involved with the coordination of the service work and this sometimes leaves the customer with service that they might not be happy with. We however have no control over the service they receive from the third party appliance service company. The landscaping specification does not include bark for there small scrub bed and it is left to the homeowner to complete this as per there desired choice of material. We have not included this with any of our customers and we will not be doing this in the future so unfortunately the customer will not be getting the desire response from us. Our service team will continue to work with our customer to give him the best and timely service over his one year warranty.

I paid for landscaping and it is unacceptable to be left with exposed black dirt in my yard.The builder scalloped out the front yard and planted shrubs as per the contract. I did not choose this detail as it was architectural control for which I have a work order signed by both builder and homeowner. I expect bark to be laid in my front yard to conform to this architectural control work order signed by both builder and homeowner. I will not be satisfied until this step is completed and will continue to voice my displeasure with T[redacted] Built.

As per the subdivision architectural requirements, and our signed Schedule B that lists the landscaping provided by the builder, there is no specific requirement to place bark in the shrub bed to meet architectural or our landscaping specification provided by the builder.

The home that you purchased from our original customer has a one year builders warranty which has expired on January 23, 2015 over 1 year ago. Since the home is over 2 years old, it does sound like you have experienced some shrinkage and...
drying out of your home which is why you are seeing some cracking around the casements of your windows which is a normal for a home that is over two years old. This does not sound like a structural issue which is what you have referred to as part of the 10 year warranty. Doors do need to be adjusted from time to time and is part of the homeowners obligation for maintenance of their home.
Obviously you have had the home inspected prior to your purchase and nothing was identified to have you not purchase this home from the original homeowner but as the Home Builder we are obligated to provide warranty services for one full year and are not obligated to provide any additional warranty on homes that are over two years old. The issues you are having fall under normal home maintenance and if you would like to have our service manager come out and look at some of the issues that you are having we would be more than happy to provide that service, however we are not obligated to provide warranty as it has expired. Please let us know if you would like our service manager to come and look at some of the issues that you are having and try to find a solution for you. Our service manager is away on holidays till March 1, 2016 but after that date we can arrange to meet.
