I just received my first order from ThredUP and am extremely satisfied with the entire processI picked out my items online and paid a reasonable price for themI got pairs of designer shorts, a Sax 5th Avetank top and a pair of Coach flats all for 75$ including the shipping feesThe shipping was super fast and the packaging was very well doneThe box was covered in turquoise polka-dots and on the inside the items were nicely folded and wrapped in matching tissue paperSeveral of my items were with new tags still attachedI feel I received an excellent deal on everything and am very satisfiedI will definately purchase from them again

This company is a rip off, they told me my bag wouldn't be able to be processed until 7/27/THEN WHY ARE MY ITEMS BEING DISPLAYED FOR SALE ON YOUR WEBISTE !!! They didn't pay me a dime for a single thing I sent them in my second clean out kit yet are still posting my items making money off things they haven't paid me forClear rip off , and why the [redacted] still represents this company is beyond mePlease stop representing this dishonest company , and give them a taste of their own medicinePLEASE !!!!

I submitted a bag of good to high quality clothes - many with price tags still attached or worn only once The value of the clothing was over $ I was credited for a total of $for all the items I contacted [redacted] , Chief Marketing Officer, about my concerns and received no reply I pointed out that I could have donated the clothing & received a documented tax credit for more than $ Supposedly, all the items that were not posted for sale were "donated" to a charity, but there is no verification of this Other sites with user reviews of thredUP contained negative experiences like my own Frankly, I am astounded that the [redacted] gave this company a high rating

I still believe there is a huge fraud because to return items not acepted they charge and to pay for items acepted they pay as low as 14.81, that means if I just place a return policy from the beggining , I will be paying for my items to return and I will have left a dollar or less for the items acepted when they sold every items acepted over 20, but because I already learned from the lesson to dont let companies like this fool me I will stop this complain even if I still feeling ultrageous stolen !

I tried it all with them send a bag of "almost new" items One of or so items was accepted, rest rejected Ordered overpriced used items What I sent was better quality and it had been rejectedWhere did my other stuff really go? Didn't like most of what I ordered but kept it Received damaged shoes rhinestones on strap were obviously missing Was told I was given a discount price because they defect was seen when packaging for shipping No call, charged me shipping for an item I would have declined Issued me a credit upon complaining at first they wanted me to pay shipping to return a damaged item to them WHAT? Now refuses to credit Paypal or send me a check for the balance ($18.88) in my accountTheir actual response "thredUP credits are not eligible to be transferred out of the account, they are only eligible to be used toward orders of shop merchandise and shipping" So I have to buy something more expensive than my balance and pay shipping to get my money back That seems wrong on lots of levels to me This constitutes STEALING STEALING is apparently a core value of ThredUp and key element of ThredUps business model Note I communicated times with them about closing my account and being paid my balance Got the same response each time Gave them plenty of opportunity to do right before I resorted to negative feedback DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THREDUP!
