We bought a used car from Thrifty Car Sales in Gilbert AZ. When we went to trade the car in several years later & we were shone a [redacted]. The car had structural damage from a previous owner/wreck. We were not made aware of it at the time of sale. The car is worthless, no resale value. I called Thrifty Car Sales & spoke with manager. Told him what they did was unethical & on verge of fraud. His attitude was "so did you call for a reason". I told him yes...to let him know we got screwed & I was making complaint to Revdex.com. He didn't care. Don't do business with Thrifty Car Sales!!

Good morning, we understand the problems with this car and up to this point we have never used the warranty and have fixed every minor issue at our expense.this is an eight year old car and the warranty will be used this time, the part has been ordered it is a $250 job that has a $100 deductible and...

we will charge $50 to the customer only.we were told by the wife that the car does not start we were told by the husband that it happened one time. it is a very minor issue and in the future the customer will need to expect that you will have issues on a used car in general. The warranty that was free is a 90 day 3000 mile limited warranty on the engine, transmission and drive axle.if the customer would like the part put in please come to the store with a $50 deductible the part has already been ordered thank you.we go over and above to help all of our customers here at thrifty car sales getting yelled that over the phone does not help the situation.[redacted]

I spoke to the customer before she filed this complaint and she has been taken care of for service there will be no expense to her that should've never been filed thank you

this customer is approved at the lender providing she supplies the correct stipulations, she was not cooperative and needs to supply her 2013 w2's as her job does not verify as stated by the customer. At this time after driving the car for a number of days  we did not do a repossession but...

a unwind of her deal and charged her for the  days driving and/or the miles driven as the unwind sheet states. She also is being charged for a key that she would not return. If the customer wants to bring in her W2's her deal will fund first and than she can have the car back. We did nothing wrong and just tried to help a challenged credit customer get a good loan.If you have any questions feel free to contact me of have the customer call me[redacted]OwnerThrifty Car Sales###-###-####

I just purchased a 2012 Toyota Tacoma from Thrifty Car Sales. This was an out-of-state buy. I live in southwest New Mexico. Adam, who I was working with, knew this was out of my comfort zone.I was buying a vehicle that I had not seen or driven, something I had never done before.

Adam guided me through the process and had the truck delivered to me.Everything was as advertised.

We are happy and would gladly recommend Thrifty Car Sales to anyone looking for a good used car.

I bought a wrangler 4 cylinder. Very first day after purchase it overheated, low power and a vibration with the motor. Also the clutch grinded gears. Overheating was supposedly just a radiator cap. Told them I wanted to get a different vehicle cause this Just didn't seem right. They told me wait make an appointment to have their mechanic look at it and they'll take care of it. So week goes by I don't hear anything. I call they say bad throttle body they ordered it and are waiting to get it. Another week goes by no call. So I call them and it's done. Throttle body was used not new. So I drive it one day and it has death wobble. Front end vibrates violently. undrivable. Take it back again and they say trailing arm bushings have play shop wants 700 to replace. Plus they magically feel no wobble. Keep in mind I've had the car a total of four days. So I replaced the shocks but still have a vibration and wobble. So now of course they don't warranty all these parts just main drivetrain even though I've had it a total of four days. So now of course radiator blew going back to the overheating I told them in the beginning but no warranty I called and asked on the side of the rad. Also I took the top down and yep the poles are broken and the mount over the windshield is broken off on the drivers side. Good thing they have that vehicle inspection. Do yourself a favor and do better research than I did. Lesson learned.

Good morning, I'm sure everything on the contracts are normal nobody has ever pulled any of the old contracts to see what has happened and why we had to re-contract this customer. Probably due to credit please have the customer come to the store I will pull the contracts and explain the...

deal to him,  we disclose all contracts  to all customers so there should be no discrepancies at all.all of customers cash down has been applied properly to all ours customers So if the customer has  A discrepancy, please bring it in  and if they are right that money would go back to the customer, but I highly doubt  The money was not applied to his car in 2013 3 years ago
 Thank you ,

[redacted]:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.CC: The complaint has been resolved and [redacted] was a huge help in sorting out the issues. I began working with [redacted] and got a different financial institute, gave him pay stubs, my new lease agreement, and insurance information and he gave back the van. He also put half a tank of gas in it and made sure that I had all of my information regarding my service agreement and road side assistance. When I say that one person can change an entire opinion of a company, I MEAN IT! [redacted] did everything he could to make the situation right and extended his apologies on more than once occasion. I cannot say that I am not skeptical of the same issue occuring again but I can say that with [redacted] direct contact information and his help in this process, I am happy to work with Thrifty again and I feel as though this could have been a misunderstanding and poor customer service on one individuals part. [redacted] should take a closer look at [redacted]s leadership skills and I think this place will be amazing. Please please thank [redacted] again for me!!!Regards,[redacted]

Do not ever go to this dealership. I inquired about a Mazda Rx-8 and was told it was sold. A week or two later I get a text message from [redacted] asking if I was still looking for one and that they had just gotten one in that Thursday. I was told it was a 2005 RX-8 with 58k miles on it. I got there test drove it and loved it but noticed there was a sensor light on. They told me that they would fix it along with a little paint issue on the front bumper and I could pick up the car on Monday. So I agreed to purchase the car and the paperwork comes out and it is a 2004 according to the Vin. That was my first warning about this dealership they didn't even know what year their cars were. Granted 1 year difference didn't deter me from purchasing the car so I completed the paperwork and put down my 3000$ deposit. Monday comes and I get a call from [redacted] that I can't pick up the car because the mechanic smelled gas leaking from it and they had to fix that. Two days later they call me to come pick it up and tell me that they had to replace the fuel pump which is a common occurrence on RX8s with that many miles on it. So I drive it to work and realize I'm burning through gas and notice a day later that there is a huge puddle of gas under my car when I'm leaving work. I bring it back to the dealer and they say that the O ring was wrong for the pump and they replaced that which took another 2 days of me not having my car. So I get it back and that night I go to the mall with my wife and we come out and there is an even bigger puddle of gas under my car than before. I call the dealer and they say to bring it back in. So since I've purchase my car I've only had it a total of 1 full day in 2 weeks of having paid for it while they fix this issue. So I tell them that if it is not fixed properly then I will bring it to Mazda have them fix it and send them the bill. Which is what they end up doing because their mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Come to find out when I called Mazda to see what they fixed they told me the mechanic at thrifty put the bolts in backwards. I also explained to Thrifty's mechanic the first time I brought it in that the car grinds sometimes when I shift to third gear and he told me that I need to stop shifting at 7000+rpms and that I need to shift like a robot perfectly every time. I've had multiple standard transmission cars and have never heard this and never rev the engine to 7000rpms before shifting, but since it doesn't always happen I did not push the issue. Two weeks after getting my car back the check engine light comes on and I get it checked for free at Aamco and find out it is the Cataliytic converter going bad. I bring it back to thrifty only to be told that Aamco is probably wrong and the car is not under warranty for that and it would be about 800$ for them to fix it. I asked what about the 90 day warranty only to be told that it only covers a total failure, so I would have to be dead on side of the road for that warranty. I was also told I should have bought the extra warranty that was never offered to me. The mechanic then tells me that it is probably the O2 sensor that is bad and it sometimes throws that error code so I should fix that first for 200$ then if that doesn't work then it is the Cat converter so then they can fix that for 800$. I just laughed at the guy and went to Midas to get the car fixed which was the Cat Converter. Recently I got the cars oil changed and found out that there is also an Oil leak and a Transmission fluid leak. Two things that were hidden from me when I purchased the car. I was promised when I got the car that the only issue was the fuel pump and that had to be fixed 3 times before I was able to actually bring the car home for more than 2 days. Another issue is once you drive the car off the lot they don't want to have anything to do with you. I told them I wanted a full tank of gas for all the fuel I left on the road due to their blundering mechanic and they obliged but didn't want to put premium because they said its not required although it is in this car according to the manual and sticker on the fuel tank. Then the guy who brought me to get gas, [redacted], was in such a rush he knocked the nozzle of the gas pump on the edge of my gas tank and chipped the paint. This place is a joke they are your best friend until you sign the paperwork then they rush you out the door as fast as possible.

On 08\26\2013 my Daughter spoke with a [redacted] at Thrifty car sales in Gilbert because she was interested in a truck they had advertised. [redacted] told her that they just got the truck in. It was a 4 cylinder\automatic with 100,000 miles on it. When [redacted] was asked how much are they asking for it? She replied "around $10,000". My daughter then got directions from her and we both went to look at the truck. When we arrived [redacted] was not there but had a man named [redacted] help us. I told him we talked to [redacted] about a blue Nissan truck. He said "I don't know where that truck is right now come on inside" We went inside and he said "go ahead and sit down we don't have that truck it was sold some time ago" He just said that he did not know where it was. I said we are leaving. Five minutes latter [redacted] called my daughter. I answered her phone and asked what kind of games are you playing? She said "well we don't have that Nissan ,But we have others". I said you gave my daughter information on a certain Nissan and you don't even have it. All she said was "ok"

I recently bought a car from Thrifty Auto Sales. I had to go through them because of my credit. I got a 2005 with 103k miles on it and I was told that it was a reliable car. When in fact it is NOT. I have had to bring the vehicle down there 3 times to get serviced and everytime they claimed that they fixed all that was wrong with it and they acutally just reset the check engine light saying that it was fixed I then drove it for 3-4 days to have the light come back on and went to Auto Zone to get it checked again to see if it was fixed and it wasnt. I continued to take it back and get fixed again. I was SCAMMED into getting a new car (SY CAR) that is and worse condition of my previous car I traded. Well the light came back on today and got it checked again and its a different problem GO FIGURE!! its $500 to get it fixed and warrenty is going to be up soon and im not sure that they are going to fix it or just reset the light again and tell me to come back. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KEPT MY OLD CAR THAT HAD LESS ISSUES AND A GAS HOGG. DONT EVER GO THROUGH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER...... TAKE MY MISTAKE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Thrifty Car Sales late April, providing them with $1500.00 cash. When I made my original down payment, I only had $1000.00 and they stated that it would be okay to bring in the additional $500.00 within the next two weeks. I came in exactly two weeks later with my additional $500.00 and was told that they had secured a loan with [redacted] funding and that all I needed to do was complete the phone interview. Pleased, I gave them the additional $500.00 and went on my happy way. Friday, May 16th, 2014 I spoke with the sales associate, [redacted], (via text message) and he stated that the company needed a W2 from 2013 to verify previous employment. On Monday, I went into pre-term labor with my 34 week old son and was not back in my office until Thursday. On Thursday I got a call from [redacted], the store manager, and he stated that they were reposessing my vehicle because I had refused to provide him with the information that he needs. I attempted to explain to him that I was not refusing to provide anything and that I had just spoken with [redacted] about the documents and requested the information from [redacted] then hung up on me and presented himself at my office screaming in front of my patients and employees, "[redacted] IS EMPLOYING CRIMINALS AND HARBORING FUGITIVES!!" He asked my front desk receptionist to have me come out of my office and "face him," and his colleague that he had brought with him. In complete fear, I called the [redacted] to have the men removed from my place of business. Upon arrival of the police, [redacted] stated that he would refund my $1500.00 in exchange for the vehicle by the end of the day. I arrived with the vehicle and he removed the battery and blocked the vehicle into the lot. He then stated he was not going to return anything and that he wanted me trespassed from the property for a year.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the down payment given to this company and will also be suing for deformation of character and time lost out of the office due to the situation he created at my place of business.

Review: [redacted] Car Purchase Summary

On August 10, 2013, [redacted] agreed to purchase a 2007 Saturn Ion from Thrifty Car Sales [redacted] by [redacted] (last name unknown). The agreed price was $10,000. [redacted] gave a deposit of $2,000 and left with the car that day pending loan financing.

On Tuesday, September 4, [redacted] received a test message on her phone from Thrifty Car Sales saying her loan financing had been approved and to come to Thrifty Car Sales to sign the paperwork. [redacted] called Thrifty Car Sales to ask why she needed to come in since all of the paper work had been signed. They told her she needed to come in or there would be big trouble.

[redacted] drove to Thrifty Care Sales with the 2007 Saturn Ion where she was asked by Mr. [redacted] to turn in the keys to the Ion. Mr. [redacted] indicated they could not sell [redacted] the Ion but could sell her a 2004 Ford Probe but did not indicate the price. After looking at the Probe, [redacted] questioned Mr. [redacted] whether it was truly a 2004 Probe as it looked like an older Probe [redacted] sister had previously owned. Mr. [redacted] just chuckled and did not respond. [redacted] told Mr. [redacted] she did not want the Ford Probe and wanted a return of her $2,000 deposit. Mr. [redacted] left [redacted] sitting in the lobby for a while and then told her she needed to buy the car to improve her credit rating. He implied he could not return [redacted] deposit so [redacted] felt she had no choice but to sign the papers for the 2004 Ford Probe. At this time, [redacted] did not notice the car reflected on the documents said 1989 Ford Probe. Mr. [redacted] proceeded to prepare the car for release to [redacted].

When Mr. [redacted] handed the temporary license plates to [redacted] for the car, she noticed the license plate indicated a 1989 Ford Probe. [redacted] questioned this since Mr. [redacted] had told her it was a 2004 Ford Probe. Mr. [redacted] just laughed and stated she needed to buy the 1989 Ford Probe to fix her credit. [redacted] told him she would not have bought a 1989 car. Mr. [redacted] did not say anything.

[redacted] reluctantly took the car home, parked in her driveway and hasn’t driven it since.

On Wednesday, 9-5, [redacted] left a message with her church mentor, [redacted], indicating she needed to talk about a problem with a car purchase. On Thursday, 9-6, [redacted] explained the situation to [redacted]. She told her she was forced into buying the car, did not want the car and would not drive the car. [redacted] indicated the purchase agreement showed the purchase price of the 1989 Ford Probe was $5,999. In addition, [redacted] had to make payments to [redacted] (the finance company) in the amount of $259 a month for 2 years.

[redacted] looked up the [redacted] Value of a 1993 Ford Probe in good condition with 100,000 miles. The value is $1,545 [redacted] is not available on-line prior to 1993). Due get clarification of the details, [redacted] called Thrifty Car Sales and talked to [redacted] (one of the sales managers). [redacted] indicated they did sell [redacted] a 1989 Ford Probe with 89,000 miles for $5,999 and obtained financing for her at 21.9% interest. [redacted] asked [redacted] how they arrived at that price ($5,999) considering the information from the [redacted] stated the car was worth $5,999. [redacted] explained that [redacted] felt she was forced into buying the car since she was told she could not get her deposit back. [redacted] stated there was nothing they could do. [redacted] indicated that perhaps they had taken advantage of [redacted] and she should obtain a lawyer. [redacted] stated they have 10 lawyers and to go for it.

On Thursday, 9-6, [redacted] and [redacted] went to Thrifty Car Sales to talk in person to the owner/manager. Mr. [redacted] was the manager on duty at the time. Mr. [redacted] looked at their records and explained what had occurred. Due to [redacted] low credit score she could not obtain the loan financing for the 2007 Saturn Ion. Instead, they sold her the 1989 Ford Probe for $5,999. Financing was obtained for the Ford Probe in the amount $3,990 at 21.9% interest at [redacted], a finance company Thrifty Car Sales uses for low credit score purchasers. When the price of the car was questioned, Mr. [redacted] indicated the car was really sold to [redacted] for $2,500 and the difference was due to a $2,500 fee charged by the Finance Company which Thrifty Car Sales added to the purchase price of the car. This fee was not mentioned at all to [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] emphasized the charge was not from Thrifty Car Sales but from [redacted] So…In essence, to obtain a loan for approximately $1,500 ($2500 purchase price - $2000 deposit + plus tax, license and fees) [redacted] was charged a $2500 fee and still has to pay $6,236 over the course of 2 years for a total of $8,236.40 for a car that is probably only worth about $1,000.

[redacted] explained to Mr. [redacted] that [redacted] felt she was forced into buying the car by Mr. [redacted] and all she wanted was a return of her $2,000. It was also mentioned that [redacted] handicapped and didn’t understand what was taking place let alone the fact that it looks like there may have been unethical business practices in the sales process. Mr. [redacted] said nothing could be done and everything that was done was legal. Mr. [redacted] said since [redacted] signed the purchase agreement and no court was going to say the transaction was not legal and binding. It was agreed that everything was legal and the papers should have been reviewed before signing but was it ethical.

[redacted] asked what Thrifty Car Sales was going to do to resolve the situation. She asked if they could reverse everything. Mr. [redacted] said he would call [redacted] He left the room to call the finance company (even though there was a phone on his desk). He returned a few minutes later and said it was too late because it had already gone to title. This is questionable since [redacted] has attempted to call [redacted] and no one answers the phone.

[redacted] then suggested to Mr. [redacted] that perhaps Thrifty Car Sales should purchase the car back from [redacted] for $5,999. She would then payoff the loan and have her $2,000 back to purchase a car somewhere else. Mr. [redacted] was astonished and said they could not buy the car for that amount of money.

Mr. [redacted] did say that if [redacted] could produce a legal document indicating a trustee was appointed to make financial decisions for [redacted], they could then see what they could do. After much discussion and frustration, [redacted] and [redacted] left Thrifty Car Sales without any resolution.

[redacted] obtained a letter from her doctor stating that [redacted] had a stroke when she was young which caused issues with her cognitive thinking and that she could easily be intimidated by an aggressive sales person. In addition, [redacted] receives [redacted] payments due the stroke’s effect on her cognitive thinking.

On Monday, 9-16, [redacted] delivered the letter from her doctor and [redacted] documentation to Thrifty Car Sales. Mr. [redacted] again said nothing could be done.

It is obvious that Thrift Car Sales took advantage of [redacted] and did not act in an ethical or moral manner by obtaining the financing for her that resulted in a $2500 fee (which was not disclosed) and a total cost of $8,236.40. Reviewing complaints on Thrifty Car Sales submitted to the [redacted] as reflected on-line. It shows another complaint with a similar story – someone being pressured into buying a different car than originally purchased. This must be a common business practice of Thrifty Car Sales – a kind of bait and switch tactic. The sales practices for Thrift Car Sales may be legal but not ethical.

At this point, [redacted] will not be making any payments to [redacted] due to the overall cost which will hurt [redacted] credit rating even more. All [redacted] wants is a return of her $2,000 deposit.Desired Settlement: Return of the $2,000 deposit and acknowledgement from Thrifty Cars Sales that they did not operate in good faith in selling me the car and obtaining the financing that resulted in the excessive costs.

Response:

I regret that Ms. [redacted] feels she was misled on her purchase of the 1989 Ford Probe. It clearly states on all documents the year, make, model and vin of the vehicle she purchased. Ms. [redacted] signed all required documents and was under no duress to do so. Apparently Ms. [redacted] credit score prevented her from purchasing the 2007 Saturn she originally wanted to purchase. I am willing to use the Probe as a trade on a future vehicle after she has established a payment history on the current contract. Any timely payments should reflect favorably on her credit bureau report.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Thrifty Car Sales did not act in good faith in selling the car to me. I did feel pressured into buying the Ford Probe as I was told I could not get my $2000 deposit back. I was told my only option was to buy the Ford Probe. Mr. [redacted] knows full well the financing they obtained for me was ridiculous. Anyone with any morals or ethics would not have obtained financing for a $1500 loan for a fee of $2500 plus pay 2 years of payments at $259 a month for a total of over $8,000. The bottom line was they had my $2000 and were not going to give it back. After the fact, when asked if he would recommend this "deal" for his sister, mother, daughter or wife, Mr. [redacted]'s reply was "his family would not put themselves in this position." So... it must be ok to take advantage of someone if it is perceived they deserved it? I did not understand what I was signing and felt I was pressured to sign. After multiple discussions with Thrifty Car Sales, I know we will not come to an agreement. I certainly will not do business with Thrifty Car Sales again and hope no one else does either. [redacted]

Response:

after reviewing this whole deal, the customer is able and competent to sign paperwork and purchase a car. she was well aware what she was doing and signing and understands that she is welcome to trade in her ford probe after 6-8 ontime payments have been made with out any negative equity in the trade. she did not have to sign and purchase this car but understood it would help her in the long run due to credit circumstances. I have not personally met this customer but attempted to contact her to see if there was anything I can do to help her situation. She hung the phone up on me before I could even talk. She has signed all legal documents and must also understand that If the payments are not made on time there could be a repossession and she would not be able to trade anymore. She is welcome to contact me if needed @[redacted].[redacted]Thank You,[redacted]OwnerThrifty Car Sales

Review: We purchased a vehicle a little over a month ago from this company. The salesman assured us that the car was a certified preowned(meaning it went thru an inspection process) had a 90 day warranty for all repairs, and that the damaged key they had would be replaced the next day. We were very clear about this. No warranty no purchase, no key no deal. The day we drove off the lot the window fell inside the door, the engine light came on and by the time we arrived home it was making an incredible awful grinding sound. We returned to the dealership 3 times that week before the window and key issues were fixed and they ignored the grinding sound issue entirely. Within a week two vents fell out of the dash. The car barely runs now and we still owe after our down payment over $10000. We had it checked by our local car repair facility the week of purchase and it had several engine codes upon diagnostics. Yesterday we attempted a 5th time to have the car taken back to Thrifty Car Sales and were told to pay a deductible on the warranty and they would take a look. Never were we told about a deductible nor is it in any of the paperwork we recieved upon purchase. They offered to cut the deductible down to $50 but why should we pay for a service that was not sold to us. We were told it was a bearing issue and an easy $250 fix, but 2 seperate shops looked at the car last evening and we were given a very different scenario. Our car has a misfire code, possibly a bad cat converter, and several other codes as well, not to mention the grinding noise not yet identified in the transmission area of the car. It stalls it is not safe to drive as it will not stay running and often will not even start. When the vehicle was put on a lift at a repair facility there was an abundance of zip ties holding things together as well as a yellow adhesive on other parts. They have lied directly to myself and my family and have not made it right. I now have to seek legal counsel with our military legal team to rectify this situation. The dealership also refused to give the name of the owner or legal office to my wife and our legal advisor yesterday as well. Its a terrible thing to go to court, ive never done it before but this vehicle has too many issues that are not being dealt with. The dealer was very uncooperative wanting more money when these problems have been there from the beginning and we are not paying for them. We paid more than fair market value for this car and are only asking for what we agreed on to begin with. They did fix the window, and finally after several trips to their dealership had a key made that was not broken but the cars mechanical situation has never been dealt with.Desired Settlement: Repair the cars issues or take it back immediately

Good morning, we understand the problems with this car and up to this point we have never used the warranty and have fixed every minor issue at our expense.this is an eight year old car and the warranty will be used this time, the part has been ordered it is a $250 job that has a $100 deductible and we will charge $50 to the customer only.we were told by the wife that the car does not start we were told by the husband that it happened one time. it is a very minor issue and in the future the customer will need to expect that you will have issues on a used car in general.

In March, 2014 I purchased a certified used car from Thrifty Car Sales Gilbert. From start to finish to after the sale follow-up I have had an exceptional experience with this dealership - specifically sales person [redacted] and Service Manager [redacted]. I was treated very well and have encountered nothing but pure professionalism from this dealership. I am a very pleased customer and have told many of my friends and family of this positive used car buying experience.

Review: I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM THRIFT'S CAR SALES IN [redacted] ARIZONA (###-###-####). AT THAT TIME I ASKED FOR A CAR FAX AND WAS NEVER PROVIDED ONE. CURRENTLY, I WENT TO TRY TO TRADE IN MY VEHICLE (2009 FOR FOCUS VIN # [redacted]) AND FOUND OUT MY CAR HAD BEEN WRECKED SEVERAL TIMES AND ALSO THEY SAID THE CAR WAS FROM ARIZONA. THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE. I PICK=UP MY SON SEVERAL TIMES A MONTH AND EVERY OTHER WEEK IN THE SUMMER AND HAVE TO TAKE HIM SEVERAL MILES WITH A BROKEN UP CAR. AC , BRAKE/S, BROKEN MOTOR MOUNTS, OVERHEATING PROBLEMS. CAR IS UNDER THE LEMON LAW. I AM NOW UPSIDE DOWN BY 6,000 DOLLARS BECAUSE OF THE NEGLIGENCE OF THRIFTY'S CAR SALES NOT PROVIDING ME THE TRUTH ON THIS CAR. I WOULD LIKE JUSTICE BY BEING OUT OF THIS PAYMENT WITHOUT IT AFFECTING MY CREDIT HISTORY.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE MY DEPOSIT OF $1500 DOWN ON MY CAR, OUT OF THIS CAR AND NO NEGATIVITY ON MY CREDIT HISTORY.

sorry to hear that you are upside down but it has nothing to do with a car having accidents that were fixed and on [redacted]. values today are very high at auctions on accident and not accident cars. you are paying over 20% interest with AFS financial and that is why you are upside down. if there are any problems with the car I can probably help and I can also try to help get you into another car but I can't promise you anything. The car can be from Arizona or any other state and that will not effect the value as well. I am sorry I can't help at this time but I would love to try to trade you out of your car.feel free to call me if you have any questions[redacted]OwnerThrifty Car Sales###-###-####

Hi my name is [redacted] M, I went to Thrifty Car to get a car and they put me in a 2006 GMC Envoy. I was driving it for 3 months, then the owner [redacted] called me and told me that he does not want me to have that car. He never told me why, he just said if I don't bring it back he will repo the car I paid a 1800 down payment for and I was making my payments to them on time I told him no, then a tow truck came to my house and towed it away back to Thrifty. I went down there and they told me [redacted] "just left" and they would not give me back my deposit so I called [redacted] and he told me he has the perfect car for me he put me in a 1997 Ford Expedition with 210,000 miles on it, I had no choice so I had to take it. He called it his Mexico car because he said that's what the Mexicans drive then he laughed he also told me nothing was wrong with it when I started to drive it stalled a lot and so I took it to a mechanic and he told me a lot was wrong with it and it would cost $2,000 to fix it and then I found out he told the bank that is financing it that it was a 2003 Ford Expedition I just called him on his cell phone and he told me that he had to tell the bank that because they would not finance a 1997 and he said all he can do is trade it out he was so rude too. He talked over me a lot and he started to yell at me and tell me that his car was also broken and it's the heats fault the Ford is broken because it never did good in summers I hate Thrifty Car so much. The only nice person there was a manager named [redacted].
