TicketOffices.com Reviews (36)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that I am helpless to resolve this transaction to my satisfaction.  Although I I will accept this as unresolvable, I will not accept their response as one of good business ethics and honest intent.  I learned a difficult lesson from this, and their carefully crafted response (which is very similar to the one found on your website) hints that I am not the first person  to whom this has happened.  If I can keep someone else from experiencing this, I will.  I am not a quiet person.I admit that I was outstmarted by on online company.  I have been had.
Sincerely,

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Ticket Offices, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Ticket Offices is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate...

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not the box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value.”Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, Something Rotten, they navigated to the ticket listing page. The top of this page clearly notifies customers, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may be above or below face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” After customers select the ticket listing they desire, they are directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method is selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total is calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $548.75 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. This information was fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. Below this order summary, our customers are presented with the message stating, “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. Once selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their order. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order" at which time their order was processed.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Ticket Offices, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. It should be noted that prior to receiving this claim, Ms. [redacted] was not in contact with us to discuss her order. Ticket Offices maintains that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to Ms. [redacted] placing her order. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department; at this time, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Ticket Offices

Thank you for reaching out to us in reference to the concerns of our valued customer Mr. [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. Ticket Offices operates on the secondary market, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between...

ticket buyers and ticket sellers. To this end, we are committed to providing the best possible customer service and maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process. Mr. [redacted] has indicated he was not notified he may be paying above face value for his tickets, however it should be noted that this is inaccurate. At the top of every ticket listing page on our website we state, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may be above or below face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” Additionally, this information is reiterated throughout the checkout process. After Mr. [redacted] navigated our website and chose tickets for Jeff [redacted] he continued to our Checkout page where he was directed to review an in-depth itemized breakdown of his order, including his order total of $255.18 in bold. Directly below this we stated, “We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Since we operate on the secondary marketplace, all tickets available for purchase on our site are owned and priced by individual ticket sellers, rather than by Tickets Center. These prices are set at the discretion of the individual ticket sellers based on their assessments of various market factors such as customer demand. Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy is described in detail in our Sales Terms and Conditions and during checkout, where the following message is displayed directly above a box that customers must check to authorize their purchase, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Mr. [redacted] placed his order for Jeff [redacted] on 1/29/2017, received his valid tickets via email immediately, and downloaded them within one minute of receipt to print and bring to his event on 3/22/2017. Though Mr. [redacted] has stated this information was not explained to him, when he contacted us on 1/30/2017, our customer service agent adequately addressed his concerns. We have fully adhered to our terms and conditions and consider this matter closed. Should Mr. [redacted] have further questions regarding his order, we encourage him to reach out to our customer service department. Regards, Ticket Offices

The top of this page clearly notifies customers, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may be above or below face value. After customers select the ticket listing they desire, they are directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. Below the delivery method selection, our customer was further disclosed information regarding the delivery of their tickets, “The seller has provided an expected in-hand date of 11/30/2017 for these tickets. Please keep this in mind when choosing a delivery method.” After a delivery method is selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total is calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $223.67 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Ticket Offices, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. This also means that the expected In-Hand Date is selected by the seller and is typically based on the primary issuer’s release of tickets, which is outside of our purview. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our customer also expressed concern regarding the validity of the tickets to which we would like to clarify. Ticket Offices upholds at 100% Money Back Guarantee. This guarantee ensures customers that they will receive valid and authentic tickets prior to their event. In regards to payment, our customer did select to pay with a [redacted] account. For any concerns regarding payment withdrawal from a credit card account, we encourage our customer to contact [redacted]. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department where they will be directed to a customer support manager.Regards,Ticket Offices

Thank you for your response regarding this matter. Though Mr[redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Ticket Offices maintains that our site is user-driven. As we previously clarified, all ticket details are information either selected or inputted by the customer. This information cannot be changed unless done so by the customer before placing their order. Though we do have lawn seating available on our website for roughly $35, Mr[redacted]  selected a listing for Section: 6 on the ticket listing page. Prior to entering any payment information the order summary displayed these details again to Mr. [redacted]Since replying to Mr. [redacted] initial claim, we received a dispute from his financial institution. We have addressed this with the dispute ultimately being ruled in our favor. If Mr[redacted] has any questions regarding this process or outcome we encourage him to contact the financial institution with which it was filed. As we have fully addressed Mr. [redacted] concerns and attempted to resolve this matter, though he has declined this offer, we consider this matter closed.  Regards,Ticket Offices

Thank you for contacting us in regards to Ms. [redacted] concerns. We appreciate the chance to address this matter. To this end, we are committed to providing the best possible customer service—and maintaining a simple purchase process.Ms. [redacted] has stated that she was unaware she was purchasing tickets through a secondary market, though we would like to clarify. It should be noted that our customer’s order was placed with a sales agent via telephone, and that all necessary event and pricing information was relayed to Ms. [redacted] at the time of purchase. All sales agents are required to list our terms and conditions, which clarify that we are not affiliated with any venue and that prices may be sold above face value.Ms. [redacted] has also expressed dissatisfaction with the seats she was provided for her event. It should be noted that within the duration of this phone call, the sales agent discussed several seating arrangements with the customer that were tailored to her preferences. Ms. [redacted] selected two seats in Section: Upper Level [redacted]. The sales agent repeated the seating selection to the customer and described in detail the seats’ location, to which Ms. [redacted] verbally stated her acceptance for. Additionally, the sales agent reiterated our “all sales are final” policy to the customer.Ms. [redacted] successfully placed her order on 4/24/2017 and received her valid tickets immediately the same day for her to print and bring to her event that is scheduled to take place on 5/19/2017. In addition to this current claim, Ms. [redacted] was in contact with two customer service agents and all of her concerns were adequately addressed at that time. As Ms. [redacted] received tickets for the exact section and row she placed her order for, we consider this matter closed. If she has any additional concerns, we encourage her to contact a member of our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,Ticket Offices

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The use of the primary seller's venue name in your ad sponsored URL is misleading and ultimately lead to me paying far more than I would have if I wasn't mislead by this type of advertising. Regardless to this fact I have two reasons while I reject your response and demand a refund.1. I have been told conflicting information from speaking with your representatives on the phone and your response. I was told on the phone, in paraphrasing, that TicketOffices.com does in fact have tickets on hand because they are checked to ensure validity. How exactly are they checked and who maintains control of the tickets? Please clarify this. However in your response you state, "Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers." According to the Ticket Sales Act of [redacted] the province I currently reside and where your own website allowed me to input, "No person, other than a primary seller, shall sell, advertise or list for sale, in any manner, any tickets to an event in [redacted] unless the tickets are in the person’s possession or control." You have clearly just indicated to me that the tickets are NOT in your possession and are under the control of the seller. This is in violation of 6(2) of the [redacted] Ticket Sales Act. Again I will state that I was tricked into purchasing tickets from your website and this law which is meant to protect [redacted] ticket purchasers is violated by your website. If you would like to review it a link is as follows: http:/[redacted]2. Secondly, a refund was issued recently in late 2016 for an individual that fell for the same trick as stated on this Revdex.com post linked here: http://[redacted]Lastly, please provide proof that these tickets are in fact resale tickets coming from sellers that are not affiliated with TicketOffices, as opposed to you purchasing tickets at retail value then forwarding them to me after the transaction.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The business ignored the main substance of the complaint, that they falsely advertise one price and disguise their real prices  by charging a $65 per ticket "fee" while providing nothing of comparable value in return for that additional unwarranted price hike.
Sincerely,
Peter [redacted]

This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed. Regards,Ticket Offices

Thank you for your response. Though Ms. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Ticket Offices maintains the transparency of our checkout process allows all customers to review their order details, including pricing information, prior to checkout. As we have previously clarified, our customer navigated to the checkout screen that displayed an itemized breakdown of all pricing details, including the price per ticket, service and delivery fees, and the total charge of $459.00 in bold text. At no point was Ms. [redacted] given an alternate order total. Ms. [redacted] then agreed to our sales terms and conditions by selecting a check box and a “Review Order” button. Her order was successfully confirmed and she received her valid tickets via email immediately. As we have adequately addressed all of her concerns, we consider this matter closed. Ms. [redacted] is welcome to contact a member of our customer service team via telephone if she has any further concerns.Regards,Ticket Offices

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As a preliminary matter, our records verify that Ms. [redacted] placed this order online, not over the phone as she has indicated. While viewing tickets for [redacted] on our site, Ms. [redacted] selected a listing that specifically stated, “Section: Main Floor Row: [redacted] Notes: Zone Seating.” This note further described Zone Seating to explain that “we guarantee that your tickets will be within the listed zone or section listed or one comparable.” This information regarding Ms. [redacted] Zone Seating was reiterated for her on the checkout page and once more on the final review page prior to placing her order. As a secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. In order for any order to be placed, customers are required to select a box signifying their agreement to these terms. Ms. [redacted] placed her order online on 2/9/2017, received her valid tickets on 2/10/2017 prior to her event which took place on 2/12/2017. As Ms. [redacted] received tickets in Section: Main Floor Row: ** within the listed Zone of [redacted] her order was filled correctly. We clarified this information to Ms. [redacted] when she contacted, after her event, on 2/13/2017. Though Ms. [redacted] has claimed that she was promised front row tickets, we had no direct communication with her until after her event had passed. As such, we consider this matter closed and encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact our customer service with any additional concerns she may have.Regards,Ticket Offices

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the tickets are very far from the stage. I explained to the representative that J wanted a good seat with a budget of 200 per ticket he said the row was in the middle 2nd floor the seats are all the way in the back of the arena so when not sell me cheaper seats. I am very dissatisfied. These seats were 157 which included a bunch of fees that I was not told about. It really isn't fair to a customer that goes in a web search to be scammed by these companies that look just like [redacted] I see many other people have complaints with them because they look as [redacted]
Sincerely,

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “TicketOffices.com is an event ticket resale marketplace."Once our customer selected the event they were interested in for Chicano Batman on 4/10/2017, they navigated to the ticket listing page. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $275.27 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page.
