Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. At Ticket Offices, we value our customers and appreciate the opportunity to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. At Ticket Offices, cardholder security is of the utmost importance. We have a fraud detection department to ensure that unauthorized orders are...

not processed or confirmed. Nevertheless, as an online network, this department was secure in allowing this transaction to process as an authorized transaction. In regards to the purchase being in US dollars, this information is clarified in bold text on the checkout page with the statement, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Ticket Offices, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. This fact is stated throughout the checkout process. Prior to submitting their order, customers are presented with our terms and conditions. Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. Once selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their order. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order" at which time their order was processed. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with Mr. and Ms. [redacted]. If they have any further questions about this transaction, we encourage them to contact our customer service department so that they may be addressed. At this time, we consider this matter closed. Regards,Ticket Offices

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Of the complaints I read on the Revdex.com website where Ticketoffices.com is mistaken for the direct venue itself. I was directed to Ticketoffices.com when searching for the [redacted] and thought I was purchasing a ticket from the [redacted] itself. Also, no sympathy whatsoever from Ticketoffices.com that my cousin was dying and that's why I flew back early. I was told by [redacted] if I had purchased the ticket through them (which I thought I was) that they would reimburse me. There is also no way to find out anything about this company on the Internet (I'm a journalist and believe me, I tried). Very weird. By the way, my cousin died a few days ago. Are you happy now?
Sincerely,

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Although Ms. [redacted] has indicated she was misled regarding the price per ticket, we would like to provide clarification. When Ms. [redacted] visited ticketoffices.com, she selected her event for Hamilton on 3/19/2017. Ms. [redacted] was directed to the ticket listing page. This page displays the listings which sellers have available on our site stating the location, quantity, and price per ticket. Once Ms. [redacted] selected the listing she was interested in, they are directed to the checkout page. Here customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method is selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total is calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $5,450.75 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. This information was fully disclosed before Ms. [redacted] was asked to enter any payment information. Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Ms. [redacted] was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. As Ms. [redacted] stated, she later filed a dispute with her financial institution concerning this order. As this is a direct violation of the sales terms which were agreed upon at checkout, ticket access may be restricted while the dispute remains open. As such, prior to receiving this claim, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] via email regarding the dispute which was filed against our company. Should Ms. [redacted] have any additional concerns pertaining to her order, we encourage her to contact our customer service.Regards,Ticket Offices

Thank you for your response regarding this matter. Although our customer continues to press forward, Ticket Offices maintains that the site thoroughly notifies customers of its operations on the secondary marketplace. Nevertheless, we have been in contact with our customer and are pleased to have reached an amicable resolution for both parties. Should our customer have any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department to assist.Regards,Ticket Offices

Thank you for your response. Though Ms. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Ticket Offices maintains that all necessary seating arrangements and prices were thoroughly discussed with our customer prior to checkout. As we have previously clarified, Ms. [redacted] and our sales agent simple discussed seating arrangements based on the available inventory we have for sale on our website. Since we have no affiliation with any primary market or venue, we can only speak on the inventory sellers have listed on our site. Additionally, our website does not look like or have any relation with [redacted] as our customer has stated. We have a distinct and unique design while clearly notating that we are a resale marketplace by stating the following  directly on our website, "We are a resale marketplace, not the box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value." Ms. [redacted] acknowledged her agreement to the seating selection and received the exact tickets she ordered. Our customer verbally agreed to the final charge, which included all ticket prices and fees, prior to her order being placed. As we have adequately addressed all of our customer's concerns, we consider this matter closed. Ms. [redacted] is more than welcome to contact a member of our customer service department if she has any further questions. Regards,Ticket Offices

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  their advertising is directly linked to the venue's website in a way that is extremely misleading. Many other customers have had the same problems, so its not just me.  Their sales are dependent on mis leading people.  The idea that the ticket price may be higher implies the usual practice of adding a modest surcharge, not tripling the ticket price.  Why else would we pay way too much for tickets?  Because we have been misled, specifically by direct links from the venue site or what we think is the venue site.  If this was a legitimate fair business practice, you wouldn't have multiple Revdex.com complaints for the same nefarious practice.  It might technically be legal, but its not good business.
Sincerely,
Ray [redacted]

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our web address and branding are intentionally unique from those of any other site. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not the box office or venue. Once selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their order. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order" at which time their order was processed. Our customer expressed concerns about the name on their tickets. The name on the tickets represents the original purchaser that resold the tickets. This information is carried over when tickets are resold on the secondary market and the tickets are completely transferable.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Ticket Offices, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our checkout process allows each customer several opportunities to view all details of an order, including the Estimated Ship Date, prior to purchase. In our customer’s case, the Estimated Ship Date of 7/2/2017 was stated. Ticket Offices does not own or generate tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date. Rather, the Estimated Ship Date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Ticket Offices has no affiliation. This information was clearly presented to our customer before they submitted their order, and was additionally discussed with the customer via email correspondence. Though the Estimated Ship Date of 7/2/2017 was given, our customer received their tickets on 6/29/2017, which was a week prior to their event that took place on 7/6/2017.Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Mr. [redacted] has stated that he was not informed that his tickets were Standing Room Only until after he placed his order; this should be noted as inaccurate. When Mr. [redacted] viewed tickets for the Metropolitan Opera – La Traviata, he selected a listing in “Section: Orchestra Row: SRO Note: Standing Room Only.” After selecting this listing, Mr. [redacted] was directed to the Checkout page. This page provided an order summary which again disclosed “Section Orchestra Row: SRO Notes: Standing Room Only.” Once Mr. [redacted] selected a delivery method, his new order total was calculated and presented in this order summary. Mr. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Mr. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. As a secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Mr. [redacted] has indicated that he was not made aware of all pricing details, to this we would like to provide clarification. When Mr. [redacted] viewed Hamilton listings, the page clearly stated, “We are a resale marketplace, not the box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Once Mr. [redacted] selected tickets, he was directed to the ticket listing page, at the top of which it states, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may be above or below face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” Mr. [redacted] then selected the listing he was interested in and navigated to our checkout page. Here he was directed to review his itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price of $881.83 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Due to the nature of our business, Ticket Offices does not own or price any tickets. Instead, all the tickets listed on our site are priced by the sellers, not Ticket Offices, based on their personal assessments of a range of factors including customer demand. It also means that the largest portion of any order placed in our marketplace goes directly to the seller. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. As Mr. [redacted] placed his order for Hamilton tickets on 1/11/2017 and was presented with all pricing details prior to placing his order, we currently consider this matter closed. If Mr. [redacted] has additional concerns regarding his order, we encourage him to contact our customer service. Regards, Ticket Offices

Although our customer stated that we did not respond to their concerns, this is inaccurate. We received an email from our customer on 1/10/2017 at 10:36 AM CST stating that they would no longer be able to attend their event in May. We responded to this email at 10:43 AM CST to address their concerns and suggested the option of resale as the event was not set to take place for several more months.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. However, directly on our site it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not the Chicago Theatre box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I did email TicketOffices and their recommendation was to attempt to resale the tickets. I was going to but matters had changed to where I could the ticket dates. The problem here is that when I purchased the tickets, there was nothing during the transaction that stated all sales were final. I also have tried getting ahold of TicketOffices customer service via phone and email but phone won't let me get past the automatic system and hangs up on me. The emails kept being sent back as undeliverable email home address. I would have no problem talking to a customer service manager if I could get ahold of one. Especially considering the circumstances of my situation.

ticket sellers. To this end, we are committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process.Ms. [redacted] has stated that she believed she was purchasing her tickets through the primary market, though we would like to provide clarification. When Ms. [redacted] navigated our website and chose to view a listing for [redacted] tickets, she was displayed the message, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may be above or below face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” This information is also reiterated multiple times throughout the checkout process.Though Ms. [redacted] has stated that she was not properly notified she may be paying above face value for her tickets, this should be noted as inaccurate. After Ms. [redacted] selected a listing for two tickets in Section: [redacted] Row: R, she continued to our Checkout page, where we displayed an itemized breakdown of her order, including the price per ticket, all fees, and the order total of $195.84. Directly below this information, it was stated, “We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Ms. [redacted] was then displayed a complete list of our sales terms and conditions, as well as the message in bold, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Directly above the “Review Order” button, Ms. [redacted] was required to select a check box that signified her agreement to the aforementioned sales terms and conditions. Ms. [redacted] then proceeded to submit her order. As a secondary marketplace, Ticket Offices is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Ms. [redacted] has also expressed concern regarding the name printed on her tickets to which we would like to address. The name on her tickets simply indicates that of the original purchaser from the primary market. This in no way affects her ability to gain entry to her event, as tickets are completely transferable to the new ticket holder and is a common occurrence in the industry. Ms. [redacted] is furthermore protected by our 100% Money Back Guarantee that her tickets will be valid and authentic, and will arrive prior to her event.Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 3/16/2017 and received her valid tickets immediately via email for her to print and bring to her event that is scheduled to take place on 5/21/2017. Prior to receiving this current claim, we were in contact with Ms. [redacted] to adequately addressed all of her concerns. Additionally, we offered her a resolution as a one-time courtesy in an attempt to reach a positive resolution though this offer was declined. As we have adhered to our sales terms and conditions and provided Ms. [redacted] with authentic tickets prior to her event, we consider this matter closed. If she has any further concerns, we encourage her to contact a member of our customer service department.Regards,Ticket Offices
