went to tickets-center.com to purchase new tickets with the credit for a different day. each time the credit code works and the discount is reflected but then there is no way to submit to finalize the transaction for the new purchase. tried multiple browsers. tried calling their 800# 6 times. each time during regular business hours they said they are closed. tried their auto chat function online and no one helped out there. very scammy and shady.

Desired Outcome

I want my credit card refunded for the original amount ($400.95) since the code for the credit will never work.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Whatever prodding you do did worked though. A refund hit my bank this morning. How do I close the complaint?
Thank you!
Kristen

This vendor is refusing to refund the purchase price of concert tickets to my credit card. They are offering "store credit" for my purchase.
I thought I purchased concert tickets from a venue in . The original concert date was postponed and has now been canceled. I first heard of this company in April 2020 when I was informed that the first concert date had been cancelled.

I tried to contact the company by telephone and was not able to speak with a person.

They have indicated that my order number is #***. The total charge to my credit card was $359.50.

Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Desired Outcome

I would like my purchase refunded to my credit card.

Customer Response • Jun 03, 2020

Please note that my credit card has been refunded effective June 1, 2020. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

I want my money back for a cancelled event and they wont give refunds.
I ordered tickets to the *** game on March 13th 2020. The game was postponed and recently cancelled. I spent 860 dollars on said tickets and ticket-center will not refund my money. Instead they want to give me a voucher which I dont want.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of my money that they have held on to for 2 + months.

Customer Response • Jun 03, 2020

I am writing to let you know that I finally received a full refund.

Tickets were purchased for the ***. The concert was cancelled. My money is not being returned.
I purchased tickets for the *** concert - ***. The concert was cancelled. Tickets Center.com is refusing to return my money stating they are giving an in store certificate for the ticket price. I am not able to use this store certificate as I would only attend another *** concert in my area. I only attend *** concerts and want my actual money returned due to this situation as the concert was cancelled by the band not by me. Tickets Center will not accept my request for return of money. I have contacted this business via email several times and am not satisfied with their store credit option. As the concert cancellation was done by means outside of my control I feel Tickets Center should step up and show integrity and return the money that was spent as no product was received by me. Tickets Center needs to think about the human in these unprecedented times and not their own bottom dollar.

Desired Outcome

I want my full purchase price (money) of the tickets returned as I am not able to use a store credit. As I had no control over the concert being cancelled by the band it would be the best business practice to return the money as no product was received.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Hello:

To follow up with you on case *** -

The full ticket price has been refunded to my credit card. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Failure to refund ticket purchase amount.
on 12/31/2020 I purchased 4 tickets to the ***/ *** spring training game. On 3/13/202 MLB announced all srping training games have been cancelled with no know reschedule date. On the same day I received an email from Tickets-Center.com that the game has been cancelled and I would receive a refund in 2-4 weeks, which never happened. On 4/23/2020 I talked to Rachel and Patricia in Customer Support thru email and both stated they would have someone contact me regarding my issue. Also on 4/23 I received an email from Flornece P. @5:55pm stating the followingThank you for reaching out to us regarding order #***. I'd be happy to help! Upon review, your refund of $186.95 was processed last March 13, 2020. Still no refund received.
On 5/19/2020 I received an email stating and I quote "Our new policy is as follows: You have received store credit for 110% of the full value of your order total, inclusive of base price, fees, delivery charges, less any sums already refunded.

This has left me totally annoyed with this company. I don't want a store credit, I just want my $186.95 back.

Desired Outcome

I want my $186.95 refund back to my checking account. And I cant say this enough I DO NOT WANT A INSTORE CREDIT.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Thank you for your assistance. This issue has been resolved.
Thank you for your assistance. I am happy to say this complaint has been resolved. I have been refunded my money.

Event was canceled in March, a full refund was promised via phone call and email. Have not received my refund to date.
Purchased tickets online 2/28 for a March 13th play at the ***. All events at this venue were canceled on March 12th due to the coronavirus outbreak. I called many times about my refund and I was constantly given a new date as to when my refund would be posted on my credit card. I got my credit card company involved for assistance and Tickets-Center.com responded with it was a legitimate purchase. That was true, however their policy clearly states that a full refund minus the shipping fee would be given if an event was canceled and not rescheduled - that was my situation. The email they sent to me states for me to hold the tickets for 90 days IN CASE they ask me to return them. No one ever asked me to return them - I have the tickets if they want them. I'm trying every avenue that I can think of to get my $482.95 minus the $6.95 shipping fee refunded. I hope you can help me get this matter settled and have this company refund my money asap. Thank you.

Desired Outcome

I am hoping between the Revdex.com and my credit card company (***e) that Tickets-center.com will refund my money as they promised back on March 13, 2020.

Customer Response • Jun 08, 2020

I finally received the refund back on my credit card on May 30, 2020 from Tickets-center.com, after making my initial request in March.

Thank you

My complaint is for the refund for tickets I purchased. The event was cancelled and not rescheduled.
I purchased tickets for an event on December 20th. The event was cancelled and not rescheduled due to covid 19. The policy at the time of purchase was if the event was cancelled and not rescheduled I would receive a full cash refund. When I called I was told I would get a refund. I received an email saying that I was being given a credit not a refund. I called back and was told they changed their policy and weren't giving back cash refunds only store credits. I looked up when the policy was changed and it says on their web site that it was changed effective May 19th. This is three months after I purchased my tickets. These were not the terms at the date of purchase. I should be getting my money back not a refund.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund for the $729.50 that I was charged for the tickets.

Customer Response • Jun 08, 2020

So now this 3rd got their refund plus keep my money.
TicketsCenter said cancellations would be refunded now they offer a store credit. I really need me refund of $991.50.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Thank you.
The company credited my account thanks to you.

Purchased tickets to a spring baseball game which was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Tickets-Center.com will not give me a refund.

I purchased 4 tickets to a Spring MLB game between the *** on March 13,2020 for the amount of $523.50 from Tickets-Center.com. The game was cancelled due to COVID-19. The order # is ***. I paid 3 times face value for the tickets which makes it even more frustrating that they will not give me a refund.. They have sent me an email which stated they have given me a "store credit" for $575.85 that will expire in one year. This credit is worthless to me given that I wont be attending any events anytime soon as I am in just fair health and 62 years old. That said I need a full credit from above mentioned company which they have been promising for the last three months until they changed their policy one week ago when they sent me an email offering the store credit and said there will be no refunds now. I have chatted with them on their website and they always said I would get a full refund. I have sent emails and they always replied that I would get a full refund but to be patient due to a lot amount of transactions due to the pandemic. I was patient and understanding until the email offering "store credit". I paid for the tickets with a *** and was told I would receive a credit back on the card. Revdex.com's help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Desired Outcome

A full refund back to my *** card of $523.50

Customer Response • Jun 08, 2020

I got a refund... Thank You so much!!!

Policy stated refunds are only available if the show is cancelled.
We checked a box agreeing to the no refund policy unless the show is cancelled. The show is cancelled and I received an email stating the policy was changed and I will now receive a future credit towards an event/show before the expiration date. We explored the future events and we are not interested in any of them. I am 56, my sister is 62 and we have no desire to attend concerts or sporting events.
DETAILS:
FIRST EMAIL: Updated Event Details for: Cats (Rescheduled from 4/5)
We have received notification that the details for Cats (Rescheduled from 4/5) on Sunday, April 5, 2099 have been changed.

Your New Event Date: Sunday, July 26, 2020, 1:00 pm
Your original tickets are still valid and will be honored at the rescheduled time listed.
SECOND EMAIL: Tami,
We're writing to let you know that the event you were hoping to attend has been canceled (order ***). The coronavirus (COVID-19) has resulted in the cancellation of thousands of live events. Government shutdown orders, which are beyond our control, have made it impossible for events to occur as scheduled. Due to this completely unforeseen and unprecedented epidemic, we are no longer able to offer refunds for events that have been cancelled.

Our new policy is in line with that followed by many in the live events world that have been profoundly impacted by mass cancellations. Our new policy is as follows: You have received store credit for 110% of the full value of your order total, inclusive of base price, fees, delivery charges, less any sums already refunded. This credit is ready to be used right now on our marketplace towards the purchase of any ticket. To provide additional value, following your use of the 110% store credit on our site to purchase tickets, we will issue a promotional code to you for 25% off a subsequent order.
THIRD EMAIL: You have received this coupon (the "Coupon") to be redeemed toward your ticket total, service charge, and delivery fees on future purchases. The Coupon has a unique identifier that may be used over multiple transactions placed from this email address only until the value of the Coupon is $0. This is not a cash equivalent and has no cash value and may not be transferred to another email address. We have called Customer Service many times and just get into a vicious loop following automated prompts that never go anywhere. We have emailed. We have completed Survey's unfavorably and never get anywhere. We just want what was promised in the case of the event cancelling. A refund.

Desired Outcome

I want them to honor the policy that was in effect when I made my purchase. To refund the cost if the show cancels.

Customer Response • Jun 03, 2020

The business did resolve my issue. A refund was issued in the full amount. Thank you very much for your assistance. Tami P.

I received an email in Mid-April indicating that *** concert has been cancelled because of COVID-19 and they are refusing to refund the money.
I purchased two tickets (section 409, row H, seats 12 & 13) on 2/28/2020 to the *** for the show on 7/20/2020 and I received an email in Mid-April indicating that the concert has been cancelled because of COVID-19. I immediately contacted them and they told me that I have to wait to receive an email from them with the details of the cancelation. This company, tickets-Center.com emailed us yesterday stating they would credit our tickets for the cancelled concert not a refund. I called several times and I can not reach anyone at ticket center to discuss this issue because they are impossible to get a hold of. I contacted the website and talked with one the the employee (Loren) on chat and told they cannot do a refund, due to government shutdown orders and the massive disruption to their marketplace and normal operation. They stated that at the moment they determined that this is the best resolution to be able to provide consistency. consistency of what?
They did not issue a credit even 4 weeks after the cancelled event. Tickets-Center.com are scamming people on cancelled events that were paid for and then the event never took place. They have no right to keep our money. That's fraud!

I would like a refund of $495.50

Desired Outcome

My interest is in a cash refund not a credit. This is my first customer experience with your company and although Im usually a very loyal customer, this exchange of refusal to refund my money says a lot about your organization. Just to be clear, what I want is a cash refund of my money, not a credit to reuse again in the company. I Would like to request a check and receive the check by mail. The bank card that I used to do the transaction and purchase the tickets was cancelled.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

I would like to report that the issue was resolved. Ticket center refund the money to my bank account. Thanks for all your help.

Now I am being told I have credit

I want my money refunded back to my Credit Card.

Desired Outcome

I want my money returned to my credit card!!

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

My complaint was resolved!!

I bought tickets 17 months ago. The event was first postponed, then the performer died. I was promised a refund in 2-4 weeks. It has been 2 months.
I purchased tickets to see *** in December of 2018. The event was postponed due to his ailing health. In early April 2020 the performer died of heart complications. Ticket Center promised me a refund in 2-4 weeks on April 10th. Yesterday I received an email (conveniently right at their closing time.) offering a coupon to serve as store credit with ticket center, in lieu of a refund. There is no guarantee there will be any use for a coupon in the foreseeable future and any further dealing with this company will be detrimental to my own mental health.

Desired Outcome

A full refund

Tickets-Center.com Response • May 28, 2020

Customer Response • May 29, 2020

They have responded and said I will receive a refund within 5-7 business days. I have yet to see the refund on my card and am hesitant to trust their response until I actually have the funds returned to me.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

I have received my refund! Thank you so much! I'll be recommending the Revdex.com to everyone I know that gets stuck in disputes and needs to see some accountability.
Thank you!

Refund on tickets purchased for ***
I purchased 3 tickets for the *** in ***, *** for the June 20th, 2020. This show was cancelled due to the Covid-19. Order #***
$771.95. I paid through *** for these tickets. Ticket-Center sent me an email saying they could not refund my money and gave me a limited time "coupon" to use for other shows.
I don't want to see any other shows, I want my money back.
Thank you

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back. $771 is a lot of money.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Thank you. They refunded my money.

Refusing refund for cancelled event even though buyer backed by 100% buyer guarantee.
Received email on 5/23/2020 saying tickets-center.com unable to offer refunds for cancelled events. My partner and I called twice (in April & May) and were reassured by customer service that we will receive refund in ~4 weeks. Their main page still states their 100% buyer quarantine policy that "gives full peace of mind that your authentic tickets will arrive on time for your event and you will receive a complete refund if your event is cancelled and not rescheduled. On 3/23/2020 tickets-center.com responded to a complaint filed with the Revdex.com stating "We want to take this opportunity to reiterate that any customer whose events are cancelled without plans to postpone will receive a full refund for their purchase. This buyers guarantee is outlined within our terms of use, which every customer must agree to before they complete their purchase". Since that date (3/23/2020) tickets-center.com has changed their "terms and privacy" #12 to say "If you return your tickets within 14 days after our notice was sent that the event was cancelled, we will provide you with a credit for the purchase price..." however there was NO notice/email sent about cancelled event. Even still, this is NOT the refund policy that we legally agreed to at the time of purchasing the tickets. A customer service representative was nearly impossible to get ahold of as there is no option to speak with representative when you call - we simply pressed random numbers. Customer service rep just reiterated what the email stated and said "I have addressed this concern, is there anything else I can do for you."

Desired Outcome

We would like a complete refund for our purchased tickets, as per their 100% buyer guarantee.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Hello,

We were refunded by the business after our complaint was launched.

Thanks,
Matt

I requested a refund for a cancelled event and through text customer service was promised a refund, I was instead given a voucher.
I purchased the 2 tickets to see "***" on December 28, 2019 for $185.50 on the date of May 15,2020. The event was cancelled due to Covid-19. I contacted the text customer service on May 7, 2020. I texted with customer service rep Yandra. She told me I would receive a refund to my card and then an email confirmation. I have pictures of those texts! So I was happy with that. I then received an email stating I would not receive a refund and that I would get a credit voucher on May 23,2020. I was told I would get a refund so I text communicated with Raquel on May 25,2020 via the text customer service. I explained the situation and that I was told I would get a refund and that I had the text proof. I was told there were no refunds due to Covid-19, I said that was unacceptable and she continued to say sorry, that's all they could do. I also have proof of these communications. I am not pleased with this outcome, and I don't intend on going to any events! My order number is #

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a refund of $185.50 what I paid, considering that is what I was told would happen. And the event was cancelled!

Customer Response • Jun 22, 2020

Hello,
Thank you for your help. The company sent me an email yesterday that my issue had been solved and my money refunded. Thanks for all of your help.

Tickets-Center.com will not refund my $669.50 and instead is offering in store credit which is not accepted
Concert at *** scheduled for 7/22/20 was cancelled 4/21/20 due to COVID-19. Called 5/8/20 and customer service said they were still processing refund. I recieved an In store credit email on 5/23/20. Called customer service 5/26/20 and refused in store credit and requested full refund of $669.50. Tickets-Center.com said they can't refund my money at this time. Advised Tickets-Center.com I was not satisfied and would file a complaint with Revdex.com and pursue legal action. My order # is ***. I will accept credit issued to my *** used to purchase the tickets. Thank you!

Desired Outcome

I will accept a full refund to my *** used to purchase the tickets

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

Thank you for your help, the issue was resolved with full refund

Sent from my

Credit instead of a full refund. I even purchased ticket insurance.
I purchased 2 tickets plus insurance to the Above & Beyond Dallas event June 10th for Dallas, TX. Order # ***. It is completely cancelled with no rescheduled date. So now I'm out $508.89 and with a store credit that I will never use. I never travel. This was the one and only time I was doing anything. One month ago I contacted your customer service on April 26th who confirmed the cancelled event and the delay in my refund due to the overwhelming amount of shows cancelled. I've attached a copy of the correspondence. Now I get an email stating I'm not getting one?? This is unfair.

Desired Outcome

I would like my full refund to my credit card.

Customer Response • Jun 02, 2020

The issue has been resolved by the ticketing insurance vendor. But thank you for your assistance.

A written commitment of a full refund was made for tickets. Company delayed responses and now will not refund our money.
On 2/23/20 we purchased 6 tickets to a Spring Training event in Phoenix, AZ, in the amount of $505.50, order #***. 03/13/20 we were advised in writing that the event was cancelled and "Please allow 2-4 weeks for this refund to appear back in your account". After the 4th week and no refund in our account, a follow up call was had in which customer service representative again committed, "be patient, you will receive a full refund to your account". Weeks moved on and still no refund in our account. Our subsequent follow-ups netted the phones not answered, and wait time of 1 1/2 hours. On 05/20/20 upon a response to our email we were told that they will NOT refund the money but give us coupons. 05/22/20 we responded to their email that coupons were unacceptable as people attending the event with us, were only in town for that week and they paid for their tickets. They CANNOT use coupons in the states they live in and deserve to be refunded their money. 05/23/20, their emailed response was "I totally understand you'd like to get a refund instead of store credit. I'm sorry, we just cannot do that, due to government shutdown orders and the massive disruption to our marketplace and its normal operation." Signed Juan R, Customer Service Representative
We had tickets to other venues during this "massive disruption" to which we were refunded in full within the 2-4 weeks period that other organizations committed to. We owe this money back to our guests and expect this company to have the integrity to uphold their commitment for a full refund of our account.

Desired Outcome

We expect a full refund put into our account, of $505.50, order #32870376 by end of business, Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

Tickets-Center.com Response • May 29, 2020

Thank you for reaching out to us. We have been in contact with our customer and are pleased to have reached an amicable resolution. At this time, we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has further questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service team for assistance.

Regards,
Tickets-Center
