Tickets-Center no longer offers a refund for a cancelled event. Instead, discounts are issued towards the purchase of tickets for future events.
In November 2019, I purchased two tickets (Order # ***) for a *** jazz concert to be held in *** on 8 May 2020 for the total price of $374.95. In late April 2020, I discovered that the concert had been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. On 1 May 2020, I sent an email to Tickets-Center requesting a refund. I received a response stating that..."They are no longer issuing refunds in the same ways, on the same schedule." On 23 May 2020, I receive another set of emails from Tickets-Center stating the their sellers have not received, and may not ever receive, refunds that can be passed on. Therefore, they have decided to move to store credit to all customers. While this offer (110% store credit towards future tickets and 25% off a subsequent order) is generous, it is of very little worth to me. My wife and I are senior citizens (age 65+). Due to the health risks posed to senior citizens by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have no intentions of attending any live concert events in the foreseeable future. Therefore, discounts for future events are not an acceptable means of compensation.

Desired Outcome

Refund of the $374.95 ticket purchase.

The matter has been resolved to my satisfaction. I appreciate the assistance of the Revdex.com in bringing this situation to an

acceptable conclusion.

I purchased tickets for a play that was scheduled for April 2020, but cancelled. I have been giving numerous excuses pertaining to my refund.
I purchased tickets for a play that was cancelled due to Covid-19. I received an email stating that I should receive a refund in 2-4 weeks back in March. I have called, chatted and emailed numerous times for a status update. I keep getting the same excuse that they cannot tell me when my money will be refunded. I informed them that I would be contacting my bank and received a reply that stated that it may not end in my favor due to their terms and conditions. However, if you go to their site it states you will be refunded entirely for a show that has been cancelled and not rescheduled which is my case. Thier email seemed to borderline threaten that they would not honor their refund policy and drag out my claim with my financial institute.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of my $377.50.

4/16/20 stating that I would get my refund in 2-4 weeks. I talked with a agent on 4/16/20 and was reassured I was going to receive my full refund on my card.I payed $814.50 on my credit card.

I have received a full refund from Ticket Center.

On 2/12/20 I purchased tickets for a concert on 3/11/20 through Ticketcenter.com the concert was cancelled and Ticket Center refuses to refund me.
on 2/12/20 I purchased 2 tickets, a parking pass and Ticket insurance from Ticketcenter.com for a concert on 3/11/20 at the***. The concert was cancelled the DAY OF, the concert. On 3/21/20 I contacted Ticketcenter.com by email to inquire about my refund. I was told I should receive my email in 2 to 4 weeks. 2 to 4 weeks came and went and it's almost June and I STILL have not received my refund. I have emailed them on the 1st of every Month since March 21st, asking where is my refund. The only reply I ever got back was, it'll be 2 to 4 weeks. I emailed, I called. Finally today, 5/20/20 I email them and let them know that I will be contacting my credit card to dispute the charges. I receive an reply from TicketCenter telling me, "Go ahead and dispute the charges, it's not going to work in your favor". I contact my credit card company to dispute the charges and after I did that, I got another email from TicketCenter. Ticket Center emailed me back to say they will not be able to refund my my money to my credit card, but they would provide "store credit" and a coupon on a future concert. I was furious. I paid $308 for concert tickets, $40 dollars on a parking pass and the Ticket insurance and they were going to give ME a STORE CREDIT? I emailed them back and asked, if you aren't able to give me a refund, what was the point of buying the ticket insurance? The ticket insurance assured me that in any event that the concert was cancelled, postponed, etc; I would receive my full refund. So I don't understand what the ticket insurance was for, if it doesn't work. They want to give me store credit, thinking I will ever want to do business with them again after the frustration and aggravation they have caused me. I got ripped off and so has thousands of their other customers. They've been telling me since 3/21/20 that I would get a refund in 2 to 4 weeks. Now here it is almost JUNE and not only are they NOT going to refund my money, they want to give me a store credit so that they can scam me and rip me off again. I am outraged and furious.

Desired Outcome

I want my full refund back! I want the $308 dollars I paid for concert tickets refunded back to my credit card. I want the $40 dollars I paid for the parking pass refunded back to my credit card. I want the $56 dollars I paid for the ticket insurance refunded back to my credit card.

Awaiting refund on credit card for cancelled *** spring training game in *** on March 14, 2020 for $277.50, Order ***.
On January 23, 2020 I purchased on my *** credit card 2 tickets for *** spring training game for March 14, 2020 through *** in *** on my phone for myself and a friend. I am a 72 year old senior, recently retired and was planning a road trip from *** down south and this game was On my bucket list. I physically never recd.the tickets. I was supposed to show them a link at the ballpark. I knew the game was going to be cancelled when I was down there and one day prior to the game I recd. an email informing me of such and that my account would be credited back within 2-4 weeks. After the 4 weeks had passed and not seeing my credit back on my credit card, I called and spoke to a rep. Who told me they were working on it. Yesterday, I recd. 2 emails from them saying there refund policy was changing going forward and I was getting a credit voucher for $305.25 on my email to use for the future. The 2nd email also was giving me an extra 25% off on future offers. This is not acceptable to me and I want my original $277.50 put back in my credit card. My game was not postponed, it was cancelled and you cannot change your policy after the fact after I was told I would be getting a refund. I will not be travelling back to *** nor will I be attending any large gatherings. I then would have to reimburse my friend for half of the ticket, so I will be out even more money. What kind of scam is this. Do the right thing for this senior.

I want my original $277.50 from order *** credited back to my credit card which I have been waiting for 2 months and was told I would be getting.
