Someone from the TicketsWest Box Office will be contacting the consumer for resolution.? ?

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:? I was contacted by a representative of the business (via *** messenger)I was told I needed to contact my credit card (CC)
company to have them release the fundsI contacted my CC company twice, and they assured me both times that the funds were approved and released and that the business needs to accept the fundsI have not received a resolution to this claim
Sincerely,
*** ***

This is exactly what happened to me (see below) I contacted TicketsWest via phone and could barely understand the customer service rep. but they said something about someone else having to look into the problem. As I researched this website reading through the complaints I see that the exact same thing happened, i.e. error message etc. same as below. I only received an email confirmation and e tickets for one transaction of two tickets but am being billed for two transactions. The ordering website horribly non userfriendly.

Review: I purchased concert tickets on their website. At the end of the ordering process I received a message that there was an error in my ordering and that the order did not get processed. I then ordered the concert tickets again. My orders are 5 minutes apart from one another. My second order did process correctly. When I checked my email about 30 minutes after my purchase, I had TWO purchases because the first order evidently did go through. I immediately emailed the given customer service email they provided in my confirmation email. As no one had contacted me, or replied to my email, 8 hours later I called the customer service phone number. They said they could not guarantee my refund for the order that I thought did not process, as they do not issue ticket refunds. They said they would send my complaint to another department to review. As of now, I am in waiting limbo. Their error is causing me quite a bit of frustration. As I have contacted them on a Friday evening, I was told if I don't hear anything by Tuesday, then I should call them back.Desired Settlement: I would be refunded for the error purchase caused by Ticketswest.

The refund was processed on 3/12
(the next business day) and an email from the system was generated and sent to this individual notifying them that the credit had been applied.

Review: This company took approximately $200.00 out of my checking account on January 14, 2015 and did not provide me the tickets I purchased.Desired Settlement: I would like the tickets I purchased or my money refunded to my account now!

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,I had staff look into this situation. From what we can tell, the guest may

have tried purchasing tickets for the concert in Montana as that is the only

area where we can find record of his name. There is not a purchase in his

account which leads us to believe he has a pending charge on his account which

should be dropped from his account by the end of the week, if in fact not sooner. This typically happens

if the guest did not provide an accurate billing address during the purchase

process. We’ve checked our email database and do not have any emails and/or correspondence

regarding [redacted] If [redacted] does not see that the pending charge has been removed from his credit and/or debit card, please have him contact our office directly and speak with [redacted]Respectfully,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

[redacted] I would also like to add it had nothing to do with a wrong address as it was e-tickets. My bank took care of it. Thank you for your quick response in this matter.

Review: TicketsWest emailed an offer to purchase pre-sale tickets to the show Wicked. The email says nothing of having to purchase the tickets online and pay their variable convenience fees of 10 - 22%. In fact I was led to believe the opposite since the email compares the sale to black Friday which is a day that people go to the stores as opposed to cyber Monday being the term for online sales. Once at the site there is a box that states There is a convenience fee at all location, EXCEPT the Spokane Arena and the INB Box Offices.I spent considerable time arranging the date with 5 other people then driving to the Arena and was told the pre-sale was available online only. I called the toll-free ticket line and they verified the same information. They gave me the customer service line which also confirmed the same and the answer to my complaint was I will let them know, but there is nothing we can do about it now. My response was that TicketsWest has been selling tickets for many years and should have truthful advertising, especially when it is sent via email as an unsolicited advertisement. There is a terms and conditions link at the bottom of the email that linked to a web page with more advertising but no terms or conditions. I asked them to at least supply me with the terms and conditions that stated this was an online only sale and she stated she wasnt aware of the existence of any terms and conditions. In my experience even companies with poor customer service ratings (e.g. utility companies) state things like shipping and handling extra, sale prices only good for online purchases or online only sale. In my particular transaction the convenience fee would be $99 added to a ticket price of $480 which is the equivalent of 21%.Had TicketsWest been truthful in the email advertisement I would not have wasted my time or anyone elses in this matter. Two of the people in our group I had offered the tickets as a Christmas gift and I now have to tell them I am unwilling to spend an additional 21% on their gift. I am not in the habit of disclosing gifts normally, but when a firm date is involved I find it wise to coordinate with others schedules.Desired Settlement: I think they should honor the terms of their advertisement and allow purchase of pre-sale tickets at the Spokane Arena and the INB Box Offices.

Business

Response:

Regarding sale of tickets for events held at the Spokane Arena.
On Wednesday this week I received by email an invitation to participate in a Pre sale of the [redacted] concert to be held this coming September.
The pre sale started at 10am on Thursday and ended at 10pm on the same day.
I attempted multiple times throughout the day to access the web site to purchase what they describe as "best available" tickets.
I was unable to access the site.
The formal ticket sale was planned to start at 10am on Friday. I went to the arean ticket office at 10:20am. The line was short with approximatel 50 people. After 30 minutes I finally reached the ticket window and was told that there were only single tickets spread through out the arena - basically the event was sold out.
My complaint is this occurs all the time ie can't access the web site during the pre sale or after the formal sale starts and when going in person to the ticket office unable to get reasonable seats - unless you like to sit in the end of the horse shoe.
This has happened sesveral times to me and my family and after talking to friends I have learned that it happens to others quite frequently.
This matter should be looked into - accessing the web site to try to buy tickets and having the event sell out in such a short time frame - basically 20 minutes or so.
Folks, there is something wrong here!

I ordered tickets to the symphony today, and I had accidentally clicked on the map while trying to move it, and it put on of my tickets behind the seat I had selected. So I ended up with a ticket in the first row, and one behind that seat. Their response when I asked if I could move the ticket was "Our tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or cancelled. You may find this policy on ticktswest.com under terms and conditions." This is the most horrible experience I have ever had with them. I will never purchase with them again. I'd rather miss the show than give them any money. HORRIBLE.

Review: Found out our event at [redacted] was cancelled when we got to our event auguat 23rd, there, I called the toll free number on back of tickets and the associate wasnt able to pull up my information in her system by my name, phone number, credit.card or email address to give us a refund, she was sending a request over to spokane to have customer care call me saturday morning. I called and spoke with [redacted] around 8 a.m. and she couldn't pull up my info by card, she said she will send a request over to her corporate office to see if they will refund my money now that the event had passed even though the show was cancelled.due to scheduling conflict. This is poor customer service and I want my money back for 8 tickets on floor level for $622.00 for services not rendered.Desired Settlement: Full amount I paid of $622.00

Business

Response:

The tickets were credited to the complainants account as soon as we received confirmation that the event had been cancelled.

Also a follow up phone call will be initiated to explain that we have credited her account.

Review: I logged onto the Ticketswest website shortly after 10AM today to buy Luke Bryan concert tickets, which had just gone on sale. I logged on and it showed seats available in the $39-69 range and there was a button letting me ask for "best available" seats, which I pressed. This went straight to a white window that said "You're In Line" and to not leave that page. I waited several minutes and 2 seats section 121, row g, seats 1 and 2 showed available for purchase. I looked up in the right corner and a clock starts winding down giving me 7 minutes to buy the tickets. I try to buy the tickets but the "Check Out" button is solid red and won't let me buy them!!! This remained red for 30-40 minutes at which time the "Checkout" button then showed the word "checkout". Meanwhile I drove to the Ticketswest inside Rosauers at the Y and learn the show had sold out. I was astonished when the clock wound down to zero as I was repeatedly hitting the solid red button! Bottom line is I feel I lost those tickets due to their error. I called Ticketswest and talked to a male agent then a female supervisor and they were nice but said there was nothing they could do. I printed out the screen shot showing the above seats on their website with the price. I called them again and a female answered. I told her about the screen shot. She claimed someone else must have bought the tickets. I asked her how that was possible when I had 7 minutes to buy those tickets. She also said there was nothing they could do, so I have no option but to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like 2 tickets to the show, and feel their error caused the problem. I will be happy to pay the original price for 2 seats in the above price range which the screenshot I have shows $169.50. I know that tickets are withheld for radio station giveaways, etc.

Business

Response:

It was obvious that demand exceeded the available inventory for this concert and the concert sold out rather rapidly. But it appears this consumer had some challenges. I will have my Regional Manager, [redacted], reach out to this consumer directly, and help resolve this situation.
