Review: I contacted Tidewater Workshop about my order ([redacted]) for a 4' classic bench that was placed March 12 and charged to my credit card on March 13. The policy listed on their website is that they do not charge a credit card until the order is shipped. I have yet to receive the item or any notice of when it might be shipped. I contacted Tidewater via their online customer service response form several days ago and have received no responseDesired Settlement: Cancel order and refund to my credit card

Regards,

Review: On March 19, 2013, we placed order no. [redacted] with the company for the purchase of 4 chairs in the amount of $425.00. Contrary to statements on the company website that they "only bill your order after the order has been shipped", our credit card was billed immediately (on March 19, 2013). We attempted numerous times to contact the company's customer service regarding the status of our order, which has not been received. After several months passed without receiving the order or a satisfactory explanation or shipping timetable, we then attempted numerous times to contact the company's customer service via telephone and email to cancel the order, without response. On July 5, 2013 we sent a letter to the company, describing the facts as above, and again requesting that they cancel the order and refund our money. USPS tracking confirmed that this letter was delivered to the company on July 8, 2013. We have still received no response, nor has a refund been made to our credit card.Desired Settlement: We expect the company to cancel order [redacted] and refund our credit card, and to confirm to us via email that the order has been cancelled and the refund has been made.

Review: I ordered two benches THREE MONTHS AGO. I called over 1 month ago and customer service claimed it was about to ship. Nothing was shipped and Tidewater Workshop has failed to respond to calls to customer service - I only get an answering machine, despite calling during their claimed regular business hours. I am a long-time customer and am extremely unhappy to be treated in this manner.Desired Settlement: I demand immediate delivery of my order. You have 1 week in which to respond. I am a prior customer and am extremely disappointed to see your company now fails to follow through on orders or promises.

Review: I placed an online order with this company 7-12-15. It is now 10+ weeks and the order has not arrived and I am unable to reach anyone by phone or email at this company. The phone goes to voicemail and my call hasn't been returned; the email generates an automated response.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the order cancelled and refunded.

Furthermore, I do not think this company should charge for the order before the date it is getting ready to ship out.

Review: We ordered a five-foot bench from Tidewater Workshop on May 14, 2013. The Tidewater website from which we ordered the bench stated that the bench usually ships within 4 to 6 weeks and that they only will bill our order after the order has been shipped. Well, it is now September 16: We have yet to receive our bench and they billed our order on June 4, 2013 for $156.00. We have made six phone calls to their business, left six messages, and none were answered. We sent an email on September 1, 2013. We received an autoresponse saying that they would follow-up with us, but they did not. We would like to have our $156.00 returned.Desired Settlement: Cancel order; refund money.

Review: I placed an order june 21, 3013. I have sent repeated e-mails and made several phone calls to find out when my order would be shipped. the customer service number is just a voice mail box telling the caller to leave order number and name and telephone number and someone will get back in 24 hours. that has never happened. I want to cancel my order but know that there will probably be no response. There is no customer service and no response to anything. My credit card has been charged for the items and I have not received them or any response.Desired Settlement: I want to cancel my order and have a full credit on my credit card account

Business

Response:

Regards,

Review: Their brochure cites delivery of product 3 to 4 weeks from order; their website now states that it can be 6 to 8 weeks for product delivery. I have made multiple telephone calls to the customer service department; only once have I been successful in speaking with someone and when I did they assured me delivery would be made in two weeks.

We placed our order the first of May - we can actually understand the delay - what we can't tolerate is the absence of communication - tell us something, tell us when we can "truly" anticipate delivery. They've had our money for 60 days - we don't have a product nor any indication of when the product will be delivered.Desired Settlement: Give us a legitimate delivery date and live up to it.

Review: On 15 September 2012 I ordered, by[redacted] credit card, two chairs for a total of $205. At the time I was told they should arrive the following week. I repeatedly called after that because was to be a birthday gift. Since then I have called very few months or so but no response.

Since this was a month before The Storm, I see no reason why they should not deliver on their promise.Desired Settlement: Delivery of Order ASAP or refund $205 ASAP.

On June 3rd, we credited $320 to the [redacted] card ending in [redacted] which Ms. [redacted] had used to make this purchase. We contacted Ms. [redacted] by phone to let her know that the credit was processed. When Ms. [redacted] said that she did not receive the credit, we forwarded her a copy of the credit paperwork. When Ms. [redacted] said that her credit card company was telling her that they could not "see" the credit, we asked for the [redacted] from the back of her card so that we could speak to someone at the credit card company directly. We are still waiting for this contact information. We have credited the [redacted] card that Ms. [redacted] used to make the purchase and this credit was accepted by Ms. [redacted] card. We have been debited for this amount and the order has been canceled in our system. We are not sure why Ms. [redacted] card would be withholding the funds from her and we are not sure what additional action we can take beyond what we have already done by issuing a 100% refund. Please let us know.Best regards,Tidewater Workshop Customer Service

I am rejecting this response because:i called the customer service department at tidewater workshop. As usual, I was unable to speak with a person so I left a message. In the message I provided the 800 number from the back of my credit card. The cc number that ends in [redacted] was cancelled due to a fraud alert and a new card was issued by my cc company. I contacted the [redacted] company and they assured me that the account is still in tact and any credit to the previous card woukd be applied to the account in site if the number of the card being changed.

Review: On 5/12/14 I placed orders on-line at the Tidewater Workshop site for : (2) 5 foot Monet benches, 2 Monet chairs and a small table on 5/12/14. Delivery promised within 6 weeks. [redacted] charged for full amount on 5/14/14. I contacted them by phone (left message) and email 5/19 as I never got an email confirmation of my order. They called to confirm they got my order. I was told my order would ship mid-June. I sent Tidewater an email on July 1st asking what happened to my delivery. A woman from Tidewater called and left a voice message on 7/2/14 saying my order would ship the next week. Today is 8/14/14 and my orders still have still not arrived.Desired Settlement: I expect delivery of my benches, chairs, and table asap.

Review: I ordered a Classic Bench from Tidewater Workshop on April 27, 2013-- 10 months ago. Although the company promised that my credit card would not be charged until the item shipped, the company charged my card $68 in May of 2013, and then never shipped the item. I have written to the company 5 times via email. I have tried numerous time to call, have left phone messages, but have never reached anyone by phone. I have received a response only once to one of my emails -- a phone voicemail message in January of 2014, admitting that an error was made, that the item had never shipped as it should have, and a statement that the item would ship immediately. It has now been a month since the phone call, and still the item has not shipped. I have written two more emails but have not received any response.Desired Settlement: I have paid for the bench, and I still want the bench! I would like them to comply with their promise to fulfill and ship the order.

Review: Order [redacted] placed 1/9/2014 for 8 pieces of furniture for total of $533.00. It was processed on my credit card. I have been promised delivery several times, but did not happen. I have tried to call several times thees past two weeks and requested return calls on the voicemail, but no returns. I began to suspect something was wrong and began a search to try to determine the background of this company. It appears there is a multi-year scam program in progress. It also appears that I have been a victim. I would like to have my payment of $533.00 refunded.Desired Settlement: Full refund of my payment

Review: I ordered cedar patio furniture from tidewater workshop on November 17th. On February 12th I called to see why it had not been delivered and was told it would be delivered within a week or so. On March 8 I tried calling and could not get through so I sent them an e-mail asking that they refund my purchase. I did not receive a response and can not get through on their customer service line.

Review: I placed an order on May 29, 2013, order number [redacted], in the amount of $190.00. The order was for 2 memorial benches and a memorial plate for my husband's memorial service on July 27, 2013. The charge for the order was posted to my charge card on 06/18/13. At the beginning of July, I made at least 2 calls to their cust service number, [redacted] and left messages requesting status on my order. They never called me back, nor did I receive my order. On Nov 2, 2013, I sent a fax to [redacted] and an email to [redacted], subject: PAID YOU BUT ORDER FROM 5/29/2013 HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED, including invoice number and requesting immediate reply with status or a full refund. AGAIN, there was no reply. I called again today and was forwarded to voicemail and left another message requesting an immediate call back. So far, they have NOT returned my calls, fax or email.Desired Settlement: I want either a delivery of the order AND an apology/explanation, OR a full refund. It has been over 5 months since I placed the order. I understand a reasonable amount of delay -- maybe 4-6 weeks, but 5 months is UNACCEPTABLE. For Tidewater not to respond to my communications is UNACCEPTABLE. For them keep my money and NOT deliver a product is CRIMINAL.

Review: On June 3 2012 I ordered a 4' Settee item # 1700 for $50.00 with $20.00 shipping online from the Tidewater Workshop when they were at their [redacted]. We waited 6 weeks and then called and was told our Settee was setting there waiting for a truck shipment going our way. They said it should be within two weeks. After another 6 weeks we called and was told that they had a flood and were backed up with shipments. I reminded they told us ours was ready to go so what happened. They did not know. I lost track of time and started to call the in February and found that you could not talk to a live person any more just to the answering maching so every two weeks I called their "Customer Service" (What a joke) line and leaving a message. I fell into bad health and could not get back to them until the first of June which made it one year since I had ordered the Settee. I was going out of my mind when someone mentioned that I should try Revdex.com. So here I amDesired Settlement: I would like the Delivery of the Settee. If they are not able to do so I want my money back with a letter of apology. Or just the money.

Review: I placed 2 orders with this company, one in Jan. and one in Feb. I have not received the orders even though they received payments. In their web site they stated that they only bill when the product is shipped. I called them 4 times, I spoke to someone twice and was told my order would be shipped soon. The last time I spoke to someone I was told I would receive the order by 6/12 or 6/13. I still have not received the order. Now when I call I get an answer machine. I left a message but they don't return the call. I also e-mailed them last Friday and they said they would review my order and take the appropriate action. I have not heard back.Desired Settlement: I feel I have been more than patient with this company on this matter. They have my money and I don't have my order. I want them to stop avoiding me and or lying to me. I want them to ship the order or refund my money.
