Review: I live in Los Angeles and I am a TWC customer. I have been using TWC as my internet provider for the last 3 and a half years, and I have to say that I never had such a bad service. Despite upgrading to a faster connection (which I now think is just a scam), it is still very slow. I called TWC countless times to report this issue, and the only solution I receive is to change the router channel. I have changed the channel 15-20 times in the past year and a half, but the problem persists. They just insist that "there is no issue on our side". Which is obviously an excuse, at this point.Our speed test (from http://www.speedtest.net/) reads: Download Speed 3.10Mbps - Upload Speed 0.27MbpsThis is ridiculous.Bad service, Bad customer service.I do not recommend TWC.Desired Settlement: I would like TWC to stop blaming their bad service on non-existing issues, and actually take care of our connection problem. A list of ways they could do this:- come out here (at a reasonable time during the day) and check that everything works.- refund us for the money we have paid so far for the speed upgrade that never happened.- make sure that there are REALLY no problems on their side.

Review: Current billing statement this period going up (after six month) from $27.99 to $31.16. And the next billing statement will change again to $34.99. All this information I got from make call today 01/24/2015. The customer service just explain to me my rate or discount only valid for six month only and after that the rate is normal.Six month ago when a call the TWC customer service not tell me or explain to me about this condition.I assume is the rate is good for 1 year. There is no option for me either continue this service with new rate or disconnect the service.Customer service also try push me to upgrade the cable service to get special rate again but I refused it. Review: 1. TWC charged me $29.99 for a service call to my home to remove a "filter" on my cable they installed on an antenna line to prevent me from installing a DVR on that line. I consider this unethical and fraudulent since they knew that they had installed the "filter" without my permission. They knew that I could not install the DVR I had received from them without their tech removing the filter.2. TWC charged me for 1 month 18 days for HBO and Cinemax without my authorization for those channels. This was indeed charging me for something I did not authorize or receive.Desired Settlement: An apology for wasting 3 hours of my time trying to install a DVR which their "filter" prevented functioning. An apology and refund for the service charge for getting the DVR to work by removing their "filter."A refund for the daily charge on the DVR that I was charged for but DVR did not work because of their "filter."An apology and refund of all charges for the HBO and Cinemax service that I did not authorize or use.

Review: I am canceling my internet service with Time Warner Cable. I have called, explaining I needed to cancel service. Nearly twenty minutes of being transferred and waiting on I felt as if I was being punished for canceling service. Personal questions were asked why I was and where I was moving. I simply stated I wanted my service canceled, leading me to be on hold even longer. The last straw was after I was told I would have to be transferred to the "Moving Department" despite me not moving my service. I told him today 10/28/15 would effectively be my last billable date as their incompetence has already caused more time loss than necessary. I eventually hung up after realizing I was not getting through to him, unsure if my urgency to get off the line and cancel my service was understood.

I was at work, given the run around for canceling service. My time had run out of waiting on hold and explaining how I did not need their service anymoreDesired Settlement: I would like my bill to reflect 10/28/15 as my end date for time warner internet service.

Review: I called to cancel my cable as I was moving and leaving the country for work temporarily. I do not own a car. When I called (about 2 weeks ahead of time) to set up cancellation, the representative told me not to worry that she would set up a pick up for my equipment. On the day of the pick up, the pickup person never showed. I called several times and each time was told not to worry, he would be there. Around 9pm (pick up was scheduled for noon), someone finally scheduled a pickup for the next morning. Same story. After almost an hour on the phone, I had to leave the apartment to move. I was told by Time Warner to leave my equipment with the apartment manager and they would pick it up later in the week. I was charged 250$ by the apartment for leaving the equipment and just received a 461$ bill for the equipment. I have no way of getting to the equipment. The company refuses to take any responsibility for the situation.Desired Settlement: I would like the equipment charge cancelled ($403) and a refund of my lost apartment deposit ($250). As it was due to either inaction or ineptitude on the part of the company that the equipment was not retrieved or returned (by the time the last pickup failed to show it was too late for me to even send the equipment in the mail), any financial losses incurred by this failure on Time Warner's part should be their responsibility.

Review: I called time Warner in the first part of April to cancel my service because I had called in a moth earlier to see if we could get our bill lowered due to use no being able to afrod our service. I was told there was nothing they could due for me. I had been a customer of theirs for around 10 years. So I decide to go with a different company. so I called them to get my service canceled and was transferred to the department that took care of that. I was asked why I wanted to cancel my service and they asked why and I told them why so he took the next 20 minutes offering my deals to keep my service and I told him I have already made my choice and if they were going to offer me a deal they should have offered it when I called to ask for help with my bill. He said well they were the only deparment that could offer me a deal and I said they need to train there customer service reps better because they just said they couldn't help me and never said anything about getting me to the right department to help me. So after around about a half an hour of going back and forth he said he would disconnect my service but since they bill a month ahead I would have pay another month of service because I was 3 days into the next billing cycle and I told him that that was unfair and and that it should be proratied and that I was not going to pay an extra month and he said that he was wrong I only had to pay the last months service. So he told me to go the local office and turn our equipment or if it was after hours we could put it in the drop box so I did that be I didn't want to deal with them anymore. I did it three days after I talked canceled my service. About a week later I got s bill in the mail from them saying we owed for the last moths service and for all the equipment that wasn't returned but I had returned it so I called them and asked if they had received my returned equipment and they said yes they did. So I asked if they could send me a new bill stating the corrected charges so I had prof that I returned the . She said they would get one out to me right away. So about a week or two later I got a collection letter from a collection company. so I called they right away to ask why they had sent my account to collections when it had only been a few weeks since we cackled our service. so I asked to talked to a supervisor and asked him why I was sent to collections he stated that my account was 188 days past due so I asked how that could be because I paid my service every month. I had got one moth behind in January a never did get caught up. But I paid my bill every moth it was just one moth behind. So he stated since I was always one month behind they started counting form the last month I was current. I told him that was unfair and that I called in about a week ago and asked for them to send me an updated bill and they said they would and I wasn't going to pay the bill until they did and he said they wouldn't send me another bill and just to subtract the equipment fees off and send that amount. And I said I wasn't going to do that because them I had no proof that I had returned the equipment. he said that I should have a recit from returning my equipment as proof and I said I didn't because I put it in the return box outside. He said he would not send me a recit or a new bill so I told him I was going to contact you and fill a compliant and he said to have a nice day a hung up. So now I have a negative mark on my credit that I trying to rebuild and I fell that is unfair. and they have treated my very badly for being a long term customerDesired Settlement: I would like them to get my bill out of collections and to forgive the whole bill and to get the negative mark off my credit report.

I tried to call the number that it sounded like she gave me and it wasn't a good number and then I tried to call the main time Warner number and the had no record of anyone form there company calling me and didn't know where to transfer my to get this person.

Review: On May 28, 2014 my internet service was working at 7:00 am and at 9:30 am it was not working. I called Time Warner and was told there were problems in my area that hopefully would be resolved. The next day May 29, 2014, still no internet. I called again, was disconnected multiple times, put on hold for more than 30 min. multiple times with no luck of getting the problem fixed. Went to my local Time Warner Office, got a new internet motem, and was told there were no problems in the area that were being worked on. Went home and continued to try to get technical support for my internet problems. I tried off and on all day to get an answer to the problem. Again I was disconnected or put on hold.Finally customer service person did set up a time for a repair person to come out May 29 to look at the problem. No one showed up. I began trying to again call Time Warner from 2:00 until 9:00 on May 29 with the same results, put on hold for long periods of time or being disconnected. At about 9:00 a very helpful person spent almost 40 minutes trying to find the problem over the phone. When she could not bring my internet up she scheduled a repair person to come out May 30 to check the problem. Amazingly my internet was working the morning of May. I realize problems happen, but no customer should be lied to about outages in the area when there are none, and no one should be disconnected repeatedly or have to spend hours on the phone trying to fix a problem. Shame on time Warner. The Revdex.com's help in addressing my concerns would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I think I should not have to pay for the days my internet was out and what about all the time I spent on the phone trying to get the problem taken care of.

Review: Time Warner Cable sent my account to collections 2 weeks after I cancelled my services with them. I do not agree with the amount of my charges, or the fact that I was charged taxes, fees, and. Surcharges on a closed account.

I've contacted Time Warner Cable by phone 3 times, to resolve my bill and reduce the charges to the appropriate amount, and I've yet to receive assistance. Recently I was informed that their billing department would contact me, however all I've received is duplicate copies of billing statements I already have, by mail. I've requested that I receive detailed information about the charges as well as my services received, and to explain why I was charged taxes and surcharges for cancelled services.Desired Settlement: A billing adjustment, and credit for the time I've spent trying to resolve this matter.

Review: They have an appallingly horrible customer service. They don't deliver as they say. My cable installation was scheduled 4 times (each day they had a 14 hr. Window at which they assured me they would get it done) but no technician ever came for the set-up. The customer service representatives at their main office have no direct communication with their technicians and no knowledge of their technician's whereabouts, so it's difficult for their representatives to be of any help. The clients don't have direct communication with their technicians either. They lack integrity.Desired Settlement: I wasted 4 days of my time waiting at my residence for them to do the installation. I have lost valuable time. I am requesting a refund for the installation (if any fees are charged), waive the monthly cost of the modem, and the first month of internet service.

Review: hello and thank you for your time, I have had time warner for home phone, internet and cable for years. things get a little tough and I always have to pay late. I pay for 30-31 days of service and I never get what I pay for. every month on or about the 27th time warner turns everything off. Review: Time Warner Cable is one of the worst companies ive ever had to close an account with. Their lack of communication within the company, poor customer service skills, and inability to follow through with a completed task or complaint with a customer is an outrage. When closing my account out, ive attempted numerous times to get a tech person out to help locate missing equipment to no luck on follow through by time warner. This equipment was not visible to human eye, meaning could have been installed within a interior utlity closet that was not made fully clear during installation.On my numerous calls back to Time Warner Cable ive been spoken rudely to by customer service as if I didnt understand them with nothing but a reduntant explaination on what their policies are, without any resolve to the issue.Ive also been told someone would call me back but to have no call back or sometimes no notes in their system of my previous call. And to top off the whole thing I PAID BALANCE IN FULL with missing equipment, had my check clear the bank and STILL SENT TO COLLECTION AGENCY. When I called to resolve that was told they do not have a policy to write any customers a letter of apology just send a statement sating I have a zero balance. Im OUTRAGED & DISGUSTED by such a large company with horrible results. They should be ashamed that a customer in good standing that has always paid their bill in full on time was treated this terrible to close a simple account. PLEASE PLEASE NEVER deal with this company, there are so many other companies out there willing to help their customer in a proper manner to make them feel valued.Desired Settlement: I would like this resolved by what I asked time warner cable for a letter of apology regarding the poor customer service I received & the mistake on there companies part sending me to collection agency when I paid the bill in full. Review: In March of 2015 TW installed internet at my home. The technician (M[redacted] said he forgot his ladder at home so I let him use my ladder, a Little Giant Ladder Systems Velocity Type 1A Model 17 Ladder. He was a nice guy so I offered to let him use my ladder for the day. He promised to return it to me that evening after work. He did not return the ladder.

I called TW about this. Since then there has been at least two "tickets" opened. Recently, I was told that the tickets were closed because they "aged out" or were resolved.

In December of 2015 I talked to Ignacio Sevilla, a TW supervisor, who said the tech was an employee of their subcontractor, BG Communications of Pacoima, CA (he said it was done by their tech. no. 1452), and that he would follow up on it and call me within two days. I have left several voicemail messages for him but he has not returned my calls.

Today I went to the local TW office in Palmdale, CA, and repeated my complaint. Ticket number 22814328 was opened after the counterperson talked to her supervisor.Desired Settlement: I want to be paid for my Little Giant Ladder Systems Velocity Type 1A Model 17 Ladder, in the amount of $270.59 plus CA sales tax of 9.5%, total of $296.30.

Review: TIME Warner Cable and Internet is so dishonest and have done nothing but lied to me since July. I changed from att Internet to them in July was promised a gift card of $300.00 and a price per month of 132.00.Issue first is the first month the internet did not work and I was with out a phone in my home. I called every day and complained and they sent some one out they came to the house and said he could not fix it. Maybe a different router will work but TWC does not let him have. My daughter works from home this was so hard on her it cost her a client. Me with out a phone was bad. I used all my data on my cell because we had no internet.I called every day for 30 days . They scheduled a rewiring on a Saturday. I waited. Time Warner calls owe we don't come out on weekends then why did you schedule. I spoke with Supervisors , managers all never knowing anything there Customer care is TERRIBLE.2nd issue I get my bill it's like $90.00 higher then quoted. Again on the phone HOURS of documentation to support this . I asked them several times to please listen to the recorded call when I place my order to support this complaint. 3rd Issue and still on going. I was told my when I changed to the internet and phone I get the $300.00 gift card. Well down the road guess what they said I did not qualify for gift card because it had to have cable. Again I asked them to please go back and listen to the recorded call to the lady I had her repeat that I was getting a $300.00 gift card she said yes. Well I have been lied to and lied to.They have fixed my bill after over 8 hours of calls and they gave me a credit of $300.00 on bill because of gift card but they have not applied the 300.00 correctly. They took the credits that I was given from the month of no phone or interne and took those out of my credit. They have not given me the $300.00 due and I spoke today to them and they are like we have and no one cares. I should only owe December as my first bill and they are saying I am past dueDesired Settlement: I am asking for the Credit of $300.00 to be applied correctly. from the day Clide gave to me. Review: I switched from[redacted] to time warner in October, the promotion was sign for a triple play and you'll receive a [redacted] 8.0 tablet

I was that as soon as after installation they will mail me the tablet or voucher .

after 30 days I called and ask about the status , I was told that I need to be with them 2 billing cycles .

after the two billing cycle I called and I was told that because my payment was posted one day late I did not qualify for the promotion . but they will sent it to review .

in february I called and I was told that it was approved and I should receive a voucher , to say every time I called I was talking to people outside the united state with very pour english knowledges .

in march I called and was told that was mailed and should receive in couple weeks ,

yesterday I receive a 150.00 gift card

Review: I have an existing internet(AT&T) services working just fine for the last 4 months in my town home(built 2015), which includes a detached home-office. The living space of the town home and the office are wired as a single unit. On July 12, when the Time Warner technician installed the TV/Phone/Internet service for the tenant of the living space, I lost my internet connection in the home-office. TW was contacted on the issue and I requested that the technician return to check the problem which the technician may have caused. TW will not send anyone to come. Reason: The TW service installation is working.I called AT&T to check my service. Results: TW technician disconnected my AT&T service wires, even though there is a AT&T device in the data box indicating an existing service from other provider. AT&T reconnected the wires. I got the AT&R internet service back, tenant's TW TV/Phone/Internet work fine.Cost: $150.00 charge by AT&T. A day's work not done and a few stressful hours!Desired Settlement: TW caused the problem by actions of their careless tech. My $150 cost to fix it could have been avoided. Will TW refund me that amount?

I spoke to Mr. D[redacted] and apologized for the service interuption. I provided him with my fax number and requested that he fax me a copy of the bill he recieved from AT&T to restore his services. Once I recieve the fax from Mr. Dullas I will submit a request to have a check mailed to him for the amount he was charged by AT&T and will update him with the date of delivery.

Review: I moved to my current apartment June 1, 2013. I had given Time Warner 2 weeks notice to transfer service from my old address ([redacted], NY 11238) to my new address at the time of the move. Since June, TWC has continued to bill me for both service at both locations, while turning off my services in order to force money from me. Unfortunately, my work requires me to have Internet access, so I had to pay the amount due. After at least 10 different conversations with multiple Time Warner representatives, they have ignored my complaints, passed them along to other departments, shuffled me around to different reps, and continued overcharging for my current apartment. I also told them I need to be reimbursed for the money paid for the previous apartment, which they have brushed aside.Desired Settlement: In addition to the refund-check for the double charging, I'm requesting, again, for a Bill Adjustment.

Review: I called TWC on 5/14 to have cable internet installed again. After the order was set up I was told I only owed for the first month of service $44.99. On the day of install the tech calls and tells me I owe a COD amount of $73.00. I called their billing department and they refused to honor what I was told on the sales call.Desired Settlement: I expect the price to be honored at $44.99 and not be billed for the remainder since I was not made aware of the extra fee.

Review: An individual that came to live in service address installed services with TWC on 02/03/14 while we also had service, and the TWC technician said that there cannot be two services for one address. Our internet service was cut off for this reason. Apparently, service wasn't disconnected until 03/17/14. I wasn't aware that service was still active since I wasn't living there anymore and the service wasn't being used. I was being billed (so was the new individual living in this house) even after the TWC technician said that two services cannot service one address. I was incorrectly billed and all the TWC reps I talk to understand my situation and agree that my bill isn't correct, but they cannot do anything because it's already in collections.Desired Settlement: Remove incorrect balance from my account and close account with collections company. I was previously told that the balance was due to equipment that wasn't return and I filed a dispute with the collection company with proof showing equipment was returned, but I was given the wrong information. Balance on the account is for services that I wasn't aware of.
