I would not recommend that anyone take their car to Tire Kingdom in Sebastian, The manager is a liar and instructs his Mechanics to recommend work that is not needed!!! I know this how you ask? My son in law quit his job at Tire Kingdom over it!!! They DO NOT care about the customer only how much they make off of youThere is not one mechanic in that place that knows how to service The TPMS sensors and they charge the customer for it
Another Example is of the one in Vero Beach, They did a brake job on my wifes car and did not lube the caliper pin and it caused the caliper to seize up and lock the rear brakesThey fixed it and it was still not fixedIhad to go to the dealer and have it repairedThey are not cheap or good!!!!

I went in to buy tires on a SaturdayThey call me a few hours later that my wheel sensor broke when asked how they stated it was because the cap was on too tight & that it just breaks "wear & tear"That was a bit odd to me but okay I agreed to pay for a new one Take the car home & I was driving later in the evening & my tire pressure light comes on & it was very apparent that the wheels were not balanced correctly because the car shook so badI call & they tell me to bring it in Monday so I doI few hours later they call me again & this time my wheel stud broke, again it was all "wear & tear" My car is I was not aware that it was going to just start breaking down so soonThis time though they said that because they were the only ones that had touched it they were going to replace itIt wasn't broken the first time they put the tires on so it wouldn't make sense if they had asked me to pay for itI go in now Tuesday to pick it up, when I turn on the car the tire pressure light it still on! They hadn't bothered to check why that light was on! They have been the only ones dealing with the tires & they are not gonna bother to check why the tire pressure sensor is on! At that point I was doneguy came out & supposedly reprogrammed it Come Wednesday morning as I'm driving the tire pressure sensor comes back on! I call & I'm told to bring it back in that it might be a faulty wheel sensorI will be taking it because I'm not going to pay somewhere else for their mistakes! After that I will never be going backThey obviously do not know what they are doing at this shop

The brakes on my car were grinding, and I took it to Tire Kingdom on US in Palm Harbor, FL, as this was the closest business to my work that did brake repairs I signed a form requesting a WRITTEN estimate of any work needed over $ The associate on duty did tell me I needed a new caliper, but the estimate only showed the brake rotors and pads to be replaced I was never provided a written estimate of work that included the caliper, and when I requested the original estimate, the associate on duty refused to give it to me Furthermore, before I went to pick my car up, I called to find out the cost, and that same associate told me it would be $and change However, when he pulled it up on the computer after I got there, it was $800! No one ever called to tell me what it would cost, and they gave me an $break off the price after I caught the previous associate in a lie about calling me to tell me of the charges I will NEVER ever take my car to them or any other Tire Kingdom again

I called the store, knew exactly what I wanted from their website & made arrangements to have new tires put on my daughter's car the next day. When my wife and daughter went in the next day to have the work done, they were told the tires were not in stock, but had better, more expensive tires in stock. Then when they got the bill, it was another $89.99 + tax HIGHER. They said the deal was only valid if we added an alignment...like they were just supposed to know that! When I called to discuss the matter, I was told the personal with whom I originally spoke was the manager & each time I tried to call him, he was never available. Hmm... Very disappointed with those kinds of business practices! Especially in a small suburb with many other options. BE HIGHLY AWARE when dealing with these folks!

This company is a joke! First of all, it needs to be mentioned that they get commission, so they will try to make as much money off you as possible and it's a kindness to say their customer service is poor. In fact is is absolutely non-existent. They refuse to actually help you or do anything to fix your situation. And if you call their customer service line, they'll take your complaint and tell you they will call you back in 48 hours. They never do. In fact, it will be about 3 months of chasing on your part to get anyone to take you seriously. Avoid them and go to a local business or somewhere who doesn't treat you like you're just a few bucks to be made.

I went to Merchants Tire & Auto174 [redacted]. I went there to get my rear wheel bearings replaced. It took them all day to call me back to tell me I can pick my truck up because they can't fix it. After I picked it up my rear brakes and ABS systems are not functioning properly. I return to tell them, only to be told they can't fix it because they did not have the proper tools to take it apart in the first place and that I need to see a dealer. All in all, I left with more problems than I showed up with.

I was sold a Cooper Lifeliner tire by a Florida Tire Kingdom. Right away the tire felt defective but I did not want to run back and make a issue of it, besides I am very busy working 60+ hours a week. After one year I returned for a brake job and the tire was so beat up it could not be rotated to the front, the tech said I had a bad strut. 5000 miles later I returned and said please remove tire and I want to buy a new one, no worries. Both of the low level employees in the shop said " This tire was defective" no question, so I asked for it to be looked at by the night Manager for a possible refund by Cooper. He walked out and made both of the techs take back what they said and told me my car had a bad strut. He said it was a bad strut solely because it was original equipment and the car has 150.000 plus miles. I disagreed and we parted ways, the new tire I purchased is handling perfectly. Nothing like a know - it - all manager who brow beats underlings to save some warranty issues. Done !

This is the first time at a Tire Kingdom. Shawn R. and EVERYONE at store 169 has gone way above and beyond the call of duty in more ways then you can imagine! They are going above and beyond to do whatever they can to not just "fix" but to solve the problem at minimal cost and headache for me as possible.I will now forever be a committed customer.

Tire Kingdom, XXXXX [redacted] FL XXXXX

I bought a set of tires for my Toyota Camry in 2014 with a 60,000 mile warranty at the above Tire Kingdom. They now have 20,000 miles on them. I suffered a front flat tire 2 months ago. Took it in and had it patched. From then on the car has pulled to the side. I have been back 5 times to address the problem. Tire Kingdom continues to say it is not the tire. The car has been aligned and that is not the problem. The technician there told me it was "radial pull" that is causing the problem.

Finally Tire Kingdom moved the tire to the back to hide the pulling of that tire. Last night I returned from Atlanta and during a stop part-way the tire looked low. I checked it and it had 9 pounds of pressure in it. The other tires were fine. This was at midnight on I-75. Low tires often overheat and can blow out. Tire Kingdom put my life in danger with their failure to acknowledge my valid complaint that this tire was defective following the flat. They have had 4 opportunities to address the problem but continue to disavow that this tire should have been replaced on my second visit.

Paid for an oil change and tire rotation. Marked my driver side front wheel with an 'X' in sharpie, picked the car up and that same tire was in the front driver side wheel (they didn't rotate them) and the mechanic called me a liar. Store manager won't call back. Seem to try their hardest to give the bait and switch and they think I'd come back for a $460 estimate to get something else fixed? YEAH RIGHT, maybe if they could rotate a set of tires.

Dropped by the Tire Kingdom at zip 33950 one Saturday afternoon with a funny noise under the hood. They took it for a test drive and put it up on the lift and in 15 minutes found the problem and offered to fix it for a small fee. Turns out a local car dealer had left a nut and bolt loose on my power steering pump about 30 days earlier and that was the sound. I called the dealer and they said just shoot back and we will fix it for free like they should. I just want to say Thank You to the nice crew on duty that day for helping me, I really had no idea what the noise was. Thanks Again

Back in January 2015 I received in oil change from NTB. I went back to another place to get my oil change because I thought NTB sales promotion for their oil change had went back to regular price. Upon trying to get an oil change they discovered that my oil plug was stripped so they advised me to go back to where I had gotten my oil change last. So I went back to NTB and [redacted] took care of me! I thank him and the company for their caring policy on rectifying something that they had done. It restores me a little bit on the integrity of a company.

I had a bad time at tire kingdom and will never return again now that I had my oil changed there my motor is knocking very hard and that leaves me with no car thanks to tire kingdom

Rip-off. They charged me $418.94 for one (1) front brake caliper on a 1997 Nissan pickup. At Napa the Part Number: CAL SE1507 cost $ 38.99, Merchants changed me $130.75 to buy it from them. One (1) small brake line, Napa Part Number: UP 38554 cost $15.99, Merchants charged $27.54. The real kicker is all the Bt "fees". $60.49 to bleed one brake caliper? WTF. $35.00 shop fee? For what? After the cost of (their parts) it cost $260.65 in labor alone, the best part is... The truck was only on the shop for about 55 minutes, I have witnesses. How can they charge $250.00 in labor for one (1) hour of work on a 97 pickup, nothing fancy. Stay away from this place. There are mechanic shops around Chesterfield Va. that treat their customer really decant, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else for auto repairs and tires.

I recently took my car to National Tire and Battery in Monroeville for a tire rotation. I drove home and immediately started to smell something from my engine. When I turned into my driveway I could see drip marks behind my car. I called NTB immediately and they said to tow the car back and if it was their fault, they would repair it and reimburse me for the tow. It turned out that an oil line which is exposed and not far from the wheel well had been punctured, but the manager, [redacted], said that it was not their fault. He claimed that it was just a coincidence and it was probably punctured by road debris as I left their parking lot. I threatened to sue in small claims court, and [redacted] said, " I'll rip you apart in court. I know exactly what to say, because we have been sued 47 times". To repeat: According to their manager, NTB in Monroeville HAS BEEN SUED 47 TIMES! Don't take your car there.

I just wanted to let NTB Corporate and the public know and understand how their loyal customers are being treated that have had negligent sub-standard work performed on their vehicle at the NTB (Sachse Texas location) which caused additional corrective workt to be done by a more knowledgeable company: Ford. Let me start this conversation by informing NTB that they will no longer receive any more business from me, any of my relatives, co-workers, or close friends. Let me also add that I just received a call from [redacted] (XXX-XXX-XXXX)at 2:22 pm today, who at first told me that after talking to his regional manager that NTB was offering $423 comp on my estimate from Ford. He then told me he would call me back once I explained that it was not a estimate, rather it was a bill that I paid for Ford to correct the substandard work that NTB performed on my vehicle to “fix” the oil plug that NTB stripped out to begin with and refused to replace it correctly (they used a helicoil and sealant) because they said my oil leak was coming from elsewhere on the engine (timing chain cover). I have already filed a claim with NTB (Sedgwick is their claims management) in order to collect the cost of damages they created to my vehicle from their “fixing” my oil plug incorrectly. He then called me back and said that the insurance company would need the part that was damaged by NTB or they would deny my claim. Let me start by saying that both times I have been up there to NTB they have not once said that they did not do the damage, in fact management employee Luis Vargas even admitted that they used a Helicoil to fix the stripped out pan. But today the Store Manager [redacted] says that they don’t use Helicoils to fix stripped out oil plugs, they “recap” them instead. Also no one ever explained to me that NTB required the part that they looked at twice in order to decide if they are going to reimburse me for the oil pan, because while I did bring my car up to NTB twice and supplied NTB with the invoice from Ford showing that the work was performed and corrected NTB needs further proof. Just what kind of business tactic is this exactly? Is a national chain such as NTB so broke or hard up for money that they can’t correct their own mistake, or even take responsibility for their actions that costs their customers even more money. I will make it my mission to post this complaint to every message board I can find (Face Book, Twitter, Rip-off Report, Yelp, Wylie local, yellow pages.com, etc.) in order to hurt your business and customer base. Sedgwick has denied my claim because they want to inspect the oil pan but what about the original oil plug that NTB stripped out when changing my oil, they never showed me that part. Also Sedgwick never bothered to call Ford and ask them for their input or details of the damage that NTB did to my vehicle either. NTB needs to make me whole for the expenses and costs that I paid for due to their cutting corners to “fix” my oil pan by way of some substandard work that they performed on my vehicle (using a helicoil). I also would suggest that NTB consider the type of employees that they have representing them at the Sachse Texas location as I believe that these employees don’t have the best interests of the company at heart. Total cost of Ford to properly correct and fix the oil pan leak from the work that NTB performed and then said they would not repair or reimburse is $1012.00. My advice to anyone is stay away from NTB, do not use their service as they should just stick to what they know tires. Their staff will lie to you and mislead you, they don't back any of their work performed even if you have invoices proving that they did damage to your car. $68 ended up costing me $1012 thanks to NTB, my money and my car will now go back to Ford from here on, lesson learned. Twice I took my vehicle back to NTB and twice they refused to fix their original work with caused further problems. NTB will be hearing from my family attorney about their negligence and treatment of customers.

Car was stock, son went in to change the oil.

Changed the oil and then THEY tore the drainage plug but blamed it on the person who changed the oil first. Despite the fact that the car was stock.

They had my son sign papers BEFORE telling him about the damaged piece.

I'm unable to sue or do anything about it because my son sined. They deny it was before they told him of the damaged piece but there is no way we can prove it.

When we asked about the surveillance footage they all began to get aggressive and I quick left the store in order to avoid any altercations.

Avoid Tire kingdom

This repair shop is a complete sham. They lured my wife an son in with pricing for $180 front brakes. Against my advice, they took the car to this shop to get the brakes repaired. The shop came back with $3300 worth of repairs that, including axles, cv axles, brake lines, brake calipers, rotors, pads.... The list is too long to share, but I told them I just wanted the brakes replaced, and they came back with a $750 estimate, stating that the front calipers were locked up and that the front and rear rotors needed to be replaced. I knew this was not true, so I had them put the car back together. I took the car to a trusted mechanic and got the brakes done with new tires for $600 out the door. The brake calipers were NOT locked up, as stated, and there was nothing wrong with the rear rotors or brake lines. I would avoid this shop and it's manager, [redacted] at all costs. He preys on unknowing women and young drivers in an attempt to defraud them of their hard earned money.

Took car for simple oil job - special coupon for $19.99. When called I was told I needed alignment. I agreed with the fact that car needed alignment. I asked how much. Was told for a 6mth guarantee alignment it would be $69.99 and for $20 more it would be a one year guarantee. I told employee I would get back to him in 2 minutes - wanted to run info by husband. Called back 5 minutes later and agreed to one year. When husband went to pick up car the cost for alignment was $124.99 minus a $20 credit for the alignment. When questioned about difference in price, he was told that I was mistaken as to price. This is not correct. I repeated what I was told to my husband no more than 3 minutes after I heard the price.

I feel I was cheated. I have called for the manager to call me back and have not heard from him.

Had a horrible experience after vehicle getting oil change/tire rotation. My vehicle engine shut off while driving after indicating low oil pressure. Will be sending complaint as well. This company is horrible and store #198 just adds to there reputation.
