Tire Warehouse Reviews (23)

Recently purchased tire [redacted] was going flat on a daily basis. Repaired at the Tire Warehouse for cost of [redacted] but tire continued to go flat. On [redacted] my [redacted] brought a recently purchased tire ([redacted] cost of approximately [redacted]) to the Tire Warehouse. The tire would not hold air and would become flat on a daily basis needing to have air replaced in order to drive the car. They examined the tire and told him there was a leak around the rim and he was charged for balancing/flat repair costing [redacted] and additional [redacted] for tire repair for a cost of [redacted] minus a [redacted] discount for a total of [redacted].The following morning the tire was flat again. A few days later, I returned to the Tire Warehouse and informed them of the situation and they proceeded to re-examine the tire. Approximately 20 minutes later the [redacted] came over to me, holding the keys in the air told me my tire was ready. I asked him what was wrong with the tire and he said nothing. He checked it himself. I asked him why the tire was continually going flat. I did not feel they had remedied the situation. We had paid them for the repair once and this was a brand new tire. He [redacted] telling me there was nothing wrong with the tire. I asked him if I could speak with his [redacted] and he pointed towards the wall and said sure call him. I had to ask again where the number was and he [redacted] pointed to the back of the door. I do to feel this is anyway to treat any customer.I called customer service and spoke with [redacted], ext.[redacted] who then spoke with the [redacted]. I was then told I could bring the tire to their affiliate, [redacted] tire on Park Ave. for an assessment or go to another tire company and have the tired evaluated. I was not told the Tire Warehouse would pay for this service. I did not feel comfortable their affiliate would go against the Tire Warehouse's decision and concerned because I did not want to get stuck with the added bill from another tire vendor. I asked [redacted] if there was a warrantee and he said the manufacturer carried a warrantee and I would need to make a claim. The next day, the tire was flat again. We do not feel we were treated properly or with [redacted] At this point, we do not know what to do about this situation and for such a new tire, and the added inconvenience, loss of work for both myself and my [redacted] when the problem was still not fixed.Desired SettlementI feel the tire should be replaced. We have already spent a lot of time and effort to get this tire fixed. Also, much anguish and at this point feel they should replace the defective tire. Otherwise, a refund would be acceptable.Business Response I SPOKE TO [redacted] AND AGREED TO REIMBURSE HER FOR THE FLAT REPAIR.I RECOMMENDED HAVING SOMEONE ELSE LOOK AT IT SINCE WE COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. SHE THINKS GOODYEAR SHOULD STAND BY THEIR TIRES. SHE SHOULD GET HER REFUND IN THE MAIL WITHIN A WEEK.THANK YOU,[redacted]

In February 2014 I had purchased 2 brand new tires from Tire Warehouse for the back of my car. They were brand new. On Friday May 9th one of those tires became flat. My friends father who works in the tire business came ti change the flat tire and noticed that the ture became flat because the whole tire had cracks in it from a defective tire and told me to bring it back to tire warehouse with my receipt so they could replace it because it was against the law because the tire was defective. I went to tire warehouse on Saturday morning and spoke to a gentleman who came ti my trunk to look at tye tire and said that the tire that was on my rim was not theirs and they did not sell it to me. He refused to replace the tire. Even though I had my receipt showing I did in fact buy the tires from there. He also said they dont sell the kind of tire that was on my rim. I know I bought tge two back tures from them because in December 2013 I had already replaced the front two tires brand new from [redacted] in Sutton and have the receipt to prove that also. I would like to have tire warehouse replace the cracked tire that they sold me. They put that tire on my car and they should be responsible for it. I believe it was them who sold me someone elses tire to make a quick buck in their pocket.Product_Or_Service: 205/40rz17 tireDesired SettlementI would like them to replace the defective tire.Business Response I spoke with [redacted] when she came with a flat tire. She brought a receipt with a purchase of one tire Inv#XXXXXX. The flat tire was a Mohawk tire with a manufacturing date of 2004. I don't have any tires that old in my building and especially I'm not allowed to sell anything that old. She bought 2 Autogrip tires at another company and one with us. During inspection of the vehicle when she came in with the flat tire there wasthree Autogrip tires on the vehicle. I specifically remember when shecame in because I questioned my [redacted] why we were giving her a new tire at such a low cost. We price matched her friends at [redacted] Tire and put it on the right rear. The spare tire was on the left rear when she came in. Feel free to contact me with any questions.Thank you,[redacted]Tire Warehouse [redacted] XXXXXConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I bought 2 autogrip tires from [redacted] for a total of [redacted] Tire warehouse did not price match those tires at all. What they priced matched was a previous tire I had bought from them amonth earlier. So in the end process I had bought 2 autogrip tires from [redacted] brand new in December 2013 which went on the front of my car because it is front wheel drive and we were in the middle of a snowstorm when I had bought them. and 1 tire from Tire warehouse in January 2014 to replace a popped rear tire and the last one in February 2014 to replace the other popped rear tire each for [redacted] So he us lying when he said he priced also how does he remember where the the tire was put on, because no where on the receipt says where they put it on my car. He is only going by what my car looked like with the spare when I brought the tire back for replacement. I paid cash for these 2 back tire from them and I think they put on someone elses used tire and put the money in their own pocket thinking I would never know the difference. They were caught doing thus very same stunt ti a friend of mine. My receipts that I have from them dont even have my name or address on it, it has someone elses business name and address so again how does know that one if his employees did not sell me this defective tire? I had brought him both tire receipts that day also which he lied and said I only brought him one. Clearly thus company is full of [redacted] and [redacted]. I just want the tire replaced like it should have been done weeks ago without all of this hassle. They did wrong by selling me a defective tire its not fair that I have to pay twice fir something that was their fault.Final Business Response [redacted], [redacted] CAME IN WITH BOTH RECEIPTS THIS TIME SO WE JUST REPLACED THE TIRE FOR HER. SHE IS ALL SET AND HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME.THANK YOU,[redacted]TIRE [redacted] STREET[redacted] XXXXX

Front wheels "Lug and Stud" damage during installation of tires and wheels.Service Date 9/21/2013, Approx time of service 3:00pm. Invoice #[redacted]. [redacted]. [redacted].Type of service: 2 tires purchased. 2 used tires unmounted from old wheels and installed on new wheels. 2 matching new tires installed on new wheels. Total wheel installation during service = 4. 4 Hub adapters given to technicians to complete installation as new wheels are aftermarket. Rear tires and wheels installed correctly. Front wheels installed without hub adapters. (still lying on front winshield). Told technicians to remove front wheels and install hub adapters. Went inside store to pay bill while technicians were suppose to take front wheels back off and install hub adapters. After paying bill, went outside to service bay to find technicians struggling with lug nuts. trying to loosen then tighten? Technician finished work, told "all set", my car is "ready". Drove approx 6 miles home with a wobble felt in front of car. Once home attempted to remove front passenger wheel to see if hub adapter was installed as told by technicians. Broke 1 wheel stud taking off lug. Once wheel removed I found 2 other wheel studs severely cross-threaded and no hub adapter found on wheel? Can only get wheel back on with 2 out of the 5 wheel studs. Car not driveable!!! Called Tire Warehouse. Talked to [redacted]. Told "new" employee may have put the front wheels on? Ask for managers phone number. Told it was [redacted]. Called[redacted], explained problem.[redacted] told me to bring car down to Tire Warehouse on 9/23/2013? Car not safe to drive!!! Needed car for work on 9/23/2013, not acceptable. Needing the car repaired immediately and not trusting Tire warehouse to make a "safe" repair, I decided to make repairs myself to the car. Attempted removal of Front Drivers wheel to find 4 out of the five wheel studs were cross-threaded with no way to remove the lugs without breaking the wheel studs off. Made repair to vehicle on 9/22/2013. Called[redacted] ([redacted]) on 9/24/2013 to explain findings on vehicle damage. Asked if I had receipts for replacement parts and would to try to get reimbursement and asked if I could fax them over receipts. On 9/24/2013, I faxed 2 copies of receipts, 1 from Autozone for the new wheel studs and new lug nuts required to replace the damaged parts. 1 receipt from [redacted] for the original lug nuts given to the technicians for installation that were damaged. My complaint is that the service technicians were negligent in not notifying me of the improper front wheel installation and attempting to deceive me into thinking my hub adapters had been properly installed on the front wheels. I feel I was allowed to leave Tire Warehouse with an "unsafe" vehicle in order to cover up an improper wheel installation.Desired SettlementI have not received any response or reimbursement from Tire Warehouse as of 9/28/2013. I would like financial reimbursement for the cost of replacment parts purchased to make repairs to my vehicle. Business Response The refund has been submitted to our corporate office and approved I told [redacted] that they would mail him a check once it's was approved it has only been since Friday since it was fully processed and it's in the mail as of 9/27/2013Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have not received any reimbursement from Tire Warehouse as of 10/8/2013. If a check was sent on 9/27/2013 I never received it in the mail.
