Review: I was contacted by TNT via an automated message on October [redacted], 2015 concerning my shipment. I was left the customer service phone number and left several messages concerning my shipment which I never received a call back. TNT made another attempt to contact me and left another automated message and after making several attempts I still was never contacted after leaving several messages over the past couple weeks.

On November [redacted], 2015 I received an email from Jennifer F[redacted] of [redacted] concerning my shipment and needing my immediate attention. The email stated that my shipment had been moved to [redacted] Warehouse and I needed to contact TNT to determine what documentation they needed to process by shipment and sent to me. My assistant (Marcia B[redacted]) and I made several attempts to contact TNT with no success. Marcia was able to speak to a TNT representative later that day and the representative stated that my file was being handled by Lilla J[redacted]. The representative stated she would pass the information over to her for her to contact me but I never received a call. Marcia then contacted Jennifer F[redacted] at the [redacted] Warehouse and informed her of our continual problems reaching TNT to get this situation resolved as my package had been stuck at JFK for a month at this point. Jennifer told Marcia that they had heard several complaints concerning TNT's lack of service. Jennifer was kind enough to send an email to Lilla J[redacted], Devan S[redacted] and James L** all of TNT to contact Marcia for resolution of my shiprment. Lilla then contacted Marcia and Marcia stated our frustration with trying to contact them over the past couple weeks and leaving messages with no call back. Lilla then informed Marcia that no one checks that voicemail box. Marcia stated that she thought it was unreasonable to charge storage fees when if we had a direct contact number or an email stating exactly what was needed this situation could have been resolved prior to my shipment being moved to [redacted] Warehouse. Lilla provided Marcia a direct number to reach her and I contacted her. Lilla asked for my credit card number over the phone but did not have the pricing for storage/shipment. My card was charged PRIOR to an invoice being sent or being contacted by Lilla to discuss the charges. Marcia had to call Lilla and request an invoice. Marcia and I were in contact with Lilla to ensure the shipment had been processed and it finally was shipped and received on November [redacted].

I am requesting a refund of storage and any additional processing and service fees that would not have been incurred had TNT representatives and supervisor provided a direct number to reach or checked the voicemail box and returned calls as expected. Customers should not be passed on the billing costs of their lack of proper customer service.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of storage and any additional processing and service fees that would not have been incurred had TNT representatives and supervisor provided a direct number to reach or checked the voicemail box and returned calls as expected.

Review: I ordered a product from Slovenia that I should have received within 8-10 days.

TNT picked up the item on the [redacted] of October and it arrived to JFK on the [redacted]. From that date my chase started trying to find out who is responsible for not taking care of the shipment.

After calling a million phone number and being transferred to a million different person, I found out that they needed a Power of Attorney letter that they failed to inform me about so they can release the shipment.

When I asked why they never called me, the lady lied that the other lady that was taking care of the shipment left the company - an other broker claimed that nobody has left the company when he finally called and said he thought he would give me a call since this shipment was sitting there for a while. REALLY??

He called to ask what were the ingredients of the shipment which I did not know by heart but if he just stood up and walked out of his office to take a look at it, he could have read it himself since it was sealed and attached on the side of the shipment.

Then he called that the Prior Notice has been expired since it is valid only for 10 days. AGAIN.. REALLY??

I ASKED A NEW ONE FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SHIPMENT. They do not pick up of course either the Supervisor. Left voicemails etc. no response.

They better start to think how fast they can write me a check of my rent and loss of revenue since I cannot open my store without this shipment.

I could have received anything faster even from China if I do not agree to use TNT.

Price of shipping? $4-500. I want an immediate refund after they finally release my package.

Thank you for your help in advance, I should have wrote this 3 weeks ago.Desired Settlement: Refund in every possible way.

Review: My company, [redacted], received a visit of a TNT worker called Ikran K[redacted] in November 2014. She told me about TNT services and insured me that if I create an account I will have 62% off their regular rates. I was interested to try their services and we made an appointment so she can come back with all the paperwork to open our account. What we did the next day. The TNT account number of my company is [redacted]. She also told me that she will be my account manager and she will process our shipments for us so we filled out the paperwork with my business information including our addresses.

Few days after, I emailed her the contact of my partners overseas, in China and in Pakistan, who had merchandises to ship to me. Then she called me back to let me know that she got my email and that she will take care of the booking the two shipments and said she will send me the invoice for my approval before she process them so I can make sure that their cost was less expensive than [redacted] and [redacted]; services I was currently using.

Later my business partners overseas told me that my merchandises were already picked up by TNT. I was surprised because she never sent me any invoice or price quotation. I contacted her many times but she was always saying that she will send it to me but never did. I did not appreciate that lack of professionalism but since she insured to give me 62% discount I was not worried.

I waited weeks and never received my merchandises and it was hard to get in touch with her. On January [redacted] 2015, after almost a month, she emailed me the tracking information of the packages. The one from Pakistan was marked “returned to the origin” (the factory in Pakistan) because of some mistakes made by the TNT agent when booking the shipment. I contacted the factory in Pakistan but they said they never received my merchandises back. The factory and I have been arguing about that package for weeks because each one of us thought that the other was just trying to steal the goods. So we stopped doing business together.

I kept investigating about those lost merchandises by emailing TNT corporate offices and customer service to have them look at my case. Then after months investigating, I found out that the person who signed the reception of the return package in Pakistan was not an employee of the factory but a TNT employee. I was shocked! We track down where was the work place of that employee and it was a TNT warehouse in Pakistan. And this was 5 month after TNT picked up my merchandises.

Located at a TNT facility in Pakistan and in a bad relationship with the factory, I was unable to have them get the goods back plus I receive an email from TNT asking me if they can destroy my merchandises. I said NO. I wanted them since I already had paid for them and despite the fact that they were now outdated. So TNT send them back again to me in New York and I finally got them on July [redacted] 2015. That is 7 months after they got shipped.

I had the same issue with the second package, coming from China, but it took me less time to receive my merchandises: 3months.

A few weeks after I received the second shipment, I received an invoice from TNT asking me to pay $323.44 for their services, regardless of all the trouble they put me and my company in. This is why I am opening this claim. I want them to acknowledge their mistakes and mishandling of this two packages and to cancel the invoices.

I hope that Revdex.com will be able to help me. I called TNT several times, to explain the issues, and they are not understanding or helping.

If you may need any other information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I’m looking forward to hearing back from Revdex.com very soon.

Best regards,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Not to pay TNT charges but only the $32 customs fees because of all the trouble TNT caused me.

Business

Response:

Good day,Thank you bringing this to my attention.I would be more than happy to credit the amount of $323.44 as this was a billing error. Kind regards LeeAnn C[redacted]

Review: I have paid an amount of $24.50 twice as customs duty for the same shipment. I brought this to their attention and requested a refund for $24.50 in September 2015, but have not received it as yet. I have spoken to a manager, [redacted] (Tel: ###-###-#### or ###-###-####) on several occasions, as well as sent out emails, and despite being assured of receiving a refund, I have not received anything to date.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $24.50 at the earliest.

Consumer

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by TNT Express regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: TNT Express charged me $65.48 for US Customs duties on top of $473 close purchase and $54.45 shipping charge:

$35.48 - Customs Duty - TNT was not able to explain the rate or calculation method

$15 - Charge with PI code - does not have explanation on the bill

$15 - Handling fee charged by TNT - the representative refers this charge to US Customs charge, however had to admit US Customs is not aware of the two extra charges ($15 and $15)

The retailer (Australian company "One Teaspoon") is not aware of extra charges by TNT except for US Customs duty.

The TNT representative [redacted] (tel. ###-###-####) was rood and blamed US Customs for all charges.

I think, this practice (of charging hidden fees and blaming US Customs) is fraudulent, unlawful and should be prosecuted.Desired Settlement: I will pay US Customs charge ($35.48).

The other two charges should be dropped and company should be warned or penalized for fraudulent practices.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,
