A Toshiba America Information System (TAIS) representative has reviewed our customer complaintAfter doing a research our Corporate Department has advised our customer that her TV needs to send to an Authorized service provider (ASP) to have it diagnose and fixed and that is covered by the standard limited warranty of the unitTAIS has informed our customer that a replacement is not the option and every Toshiba unit has a 1year Standard Limited Warranty so any issues or problems that will happen to the unit as long as it is covered by the warranty it will be repaired At this time we consider this matter closed

[I am disappointed in Toshiba's response in this matterI continue to offer proof that the original complaint was made within the warranty period as the TV was purchased within a year when the problem arisedThe problem with the lines and discoloration on the screen is a manufactured defect and not the result of any physical abuse to the TVAs a result the problems should be covered within the limited warranty by Toshiba, the manufactureThe problem was first reported on 2/4/and the TV was purchased on 4/2/This is well within a year of purchase of the TV I attached pictures of the problem as well as the original receiptIt is a shame the manufacture can simply state that we do not have any records of your original phone call so your current problems are out of warranty, although the problem has been the same as it was on 2/4/Any help from Revdex.com would be appreciated to resolve this matter.]
