[This unit has failed twice, it has been repaired twice. Both times for the same issue. I am not confident that this TV will last me. It is a shame that spent what we did on this TV to only have it fail on us is such a short period of time, twice]

A Toshiba America Information Systems (TAIS) representative has reviewed our customer complaint. After doing a research our customer has been contacted by one of our Order Desk representative and has provided a replacement for her T.V. At this time we consider this matter closed.

A Toshiba America Information System (TAIS) representative has reviewed our customer complaint. After doing a research our Corporate Department has advised our customer that her TV needs to send to an Authorized service provider (ASP) to have it diagnose and fixed and that is covered by the standard limited warranty of the unit. TAIS has informed our customer that a replacement is not the option and every Toshiba unit has a 1year Standard Limited Warranty so any issues or problems that will happen to the unit as long as it is covered by the warranty it will be repaired.  At this time we consider this matter closed.

Thats my original complaint is that Toshiba is selling televisions and not living up to the warranties.  There websites do not provide any local provider for service.  The numbers listed on their website no one responds to.  They should issue a voucher for a new television.

A Toshiba America Information Systems (TAIS) representative has been in contact with our customer. TAIS has apologized for the inconvenience our customer has experienced. TAIS has explained to our customer that the part that is needed on his unit is no longer available. TAIS has provided a 3rd party company that they can contact to have his television fix and  they also provide 1 year warranty after the repair however this company do not have any affiliation with Toshiba.
