Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Dear ***,The Platteville Library Foundation contacted the Revdex.com because final result is unacceptable and unfinished project From your perspective, as noted in your email, I am to be faulted for numerous changes causing production to be delayed, improper installation, and the wrong woodHowever, in each case, I have emails to and from [redacted] which can clarify, or in some cases point to errors on her part, regarding our contract and the process which followed.Your comments about using our woodworker are an ineffective argument in that we hired Total Awards to do the jobWe signed and paid up front for the production and installation of a donor wall and additional plaques The change in the configuration of the wall did not add blocks or cause any added expense When I asked if we could change to the orientation from a horizontal design to vertical, [redacted] agreed as long as we did not add blocks.I am baffled with your reproach about the expense to Total Awards for making a banner and temporary the wall signage for our celebration eventTotal Awards made a commitment to provide the wall and signage by September When I received the call that you could not meet the deadline, we did not say that we wanted a refund, or ask for any additional retribution Instead, we worked with you to take this opportunity to change out the wood from dark oak to a natural oak You sent pictures and we confirmed what we wantedSome of the temporary signage you provided was spelled incorrectly or had wording that had been changed by proofs submitted a month beforeAlso, I did not change the location of the wallWhen the installers hung the banner, I said they could put it lower because they only had a ladder that reached so high When they actually hung the wall, I wanted it to be in the originally designated spotOnce again, as professional installers, one would expect that they have the proper equipmentThe installation did include the panels and plaques as it was stated on the invoiceAs I have said, I have all my emails and notes from meetings with *** I agree, it was an arduous and time consuming process, but [redacted] never indicated that I was not meeting deadlines or was not responding to requests in a timely manner, e.gI returned calls after hours The issue of “how or what or who did or did not say what” seemed irrelevant until Total Awards did not want to fulfill their agreement about the wood color and installations.Adding fuel to the fire, [redacted] made arrangements to meet me on Novto hang the additional signageShe showed up a day early, dropped off the box and disappeared with no word This was particularly upsetting since I called on November and talked to you to clarify that [redacted] would be there the next dayI told you that I did not want to drive to Platteville for a no show Right after we talked and you confirmed that she would be there, I got a call from the Library saying she dropped off a box and left That was the impetus for contacting Revdex.com.How to rectify this? As I have stated, I have every email and notes from all my meetings with *** Several of these indicate mistakes she made in losing notes, not confirming information or simply messing up When hanging the wall, installers made changes in alignment because they could not make the wood pieces fit as designed andmarks and dings were left on the wallWe still do not have the correct natural walnut plaques All this needs to be negotiated to our satisfaction We still need the panels and plaques hung, as is in our contractWe will not open the box left by [redacted] without a representative of your company present.The Library Foundation Board will not be satisfied until Total Awards fulfills their contractual agreement to our satisfaction If we were to receive a refund, we could then use that money to correct your mistakes I feel it is better for both sides to come to an agreement that you will rectify our concerns and then we do not have to take any further actionYesterday, I had a member of the community call me to state that plaques are crooked plaques, marks and dings are on the wall and overall it is unsightly I would like to remind you that I personally encouraged our Board to use Total Awards and not a competing company This has put both my professional and personal reputation on the line and I am committed to following this to the complete satisfaction of the Library Foundation Board.Sincerely, [redacted] ***
