This company fraudulently claimed to represent [redacted] in renewing subscriptionsThey called me insisting that they represent the magazine, but somehow managed not to know the actual address of the real company TMS's costs were about 4X greater than the actual [redacted] Digest I did not agree to renew through Total Magazine ServiceI did not agree to any payment, yet I received an invoice in the mailThis is definitely an unscrupulous sales practice

Thank you for bringing this customers complaint to our attention.We spoke with this customer on January 30, At that time she did place an order in the amount of $ Two different people talked to her on that day and she mentioned that she was paying $23.00/month to someone else We explained OUR rates were lower and she agreed to place an order and selected a specific group of magazines for her salon She set up a payment schedule to make payments of $90.00, and made her first payment using her [redacted] card including the security number on the card Our Caller ID and our invoice show our company name, and we do NOT claim to be anyone other than ourselves We DID contact her again in APRIL 2015, when the credit card she gave us declinedAT THAT TIME we asked her to update her credit card information On June 8, her account was reduced to the magazines that had processed and her balance of $270.00, was written off after speaking with herAs the consumer has requested: We will not be calling this consumer regarding this account

Order has been cancelled as of [redacted] at customers request Her credit will not be affected by this, and no magazines will be sent from our company

for now - if it actually happens
However,
This company originally called asking about a different magazine: "Saturday EvePost" [ which I don't have] as if they knew about my subscriptions and accounts
Then they asked which ones I had{PHISHING?}
They also tried very hard to get me to agree to a long- multi year - subscription with themBut I have never done business with them
They called back and insisted they were legitThey wanted to renew for yearsI said I only wanted yr
They talked me into giving credit card number to them and charged my card for that
I feel like they used misleading tactics to get unsuspecting me to give Credit Card info for magazine subscriptions after they ask which ones I had
I already had the subscription service directly through the magazine, but they told me the magazine doesn't do that now or would increase the price
I also want them to remove my name and phone #, address ( and any other information about me), form any and all lists they might have or use
When a refund is actually cleared through my bank I will at least be satisfied with thatBut I do not ever want contact like this again

We have contacted the consumer to let her know that we are NOT going to be renewing her subscription as she instructed. We were not able to reach the person that made the complaint directly as we did not have a
number. Her current subscription runs through Nov Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. As we mentioned to *** ***, we will use her complaint for training purposes to improve our customer protocol and etiquette

This company leads you to believe you are getting a great deal and then they pull a switch on you and leave out an important magazine that you thought you were going to receive I had to call them times before I could talk to a supervisor in regards to my dispute that I wasn't receiving all of the magazines I wanted, and that I had already a better deal than they were offering and I realized this AFTER I received the printed version of my receipt showing what I agreed to I called them the VERY DAY I got the printed receipt and they claimed they couldn't refund my $$ because the renewals were already submittedTHEN I called the actual magazine headquarters and discovered that NO renewals had been submitted AT ALL!

AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! A woman just called my salon times within minutes asking to speak to the owner who is NOT I REPEAT NOTTTTT AVAILABLEMonica Extension WAS HORRIBLE! She questioned my ability to write a simple phone number down which highly offended meI will not continue our business with this company strictly due to how she neglects to use customer service when speaking to paying account holders

This consumer has been a client of ours since 2009. We contacted her in August for her renewal and she asked that we email her a list of our top magazines titles for salons, which we did on 8/29/to ***@gmail.comWe contacted her on 9-5-and we were asked to return
the call on 9-6-at 10:CST, which we did and this account was placed on Sept 6, at 10:am CSTA specific list of magazines were selected by "***" and the order was confirmed with payment by credit card and security code at that timeWe processed her order, as agreed, and when we were not able to process her credit card, we attempted to contact her for paymentAs recently at 5-7-15, we were in contact with this customer and she requested that we send another invoice out to her for paymentAs much as we hate to lose a valuable customer, we have chosen to cancel this account and stop all magazines that we are supplying.The consumer can reach us directly, if necessary, to discuss this furtherThis account has been cancelled.Customer Service/Satisfaction is our utmost objective

While I choose not to waste more of your  time to pursue this issue further, it is interesting to note  vendor responds to my complaint that the service was already cancelled because of my prior complaint which was obviously before the claim for payment was posted.  Great management.I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I think that further occurrences of this type would indicate poor business practice.[redacted]

This account has been cancelled per the request.  No one had ever tried to contact us prior to this regarding this matter.  We tried contacting the son with number provided and it sent us to a voicemail that was not activated.  Please note that the account has been cancelled.
