August 8th, 2016[redacted] brought her car, a 2003 [redacted], to the Central City Toyota dealership on July 22nd 2016 at 7:45 PM. The dealership, including the service department, closes at 6 PM on Fridays. [redacted] brought her car to the shop to for the brakes to be worked on (against...

dealership policy and without dealership approval) by her boyfriend's Cousin, former Central City Toyota employee, [redacted]. Again, this was without the permission or knowledge of Central City Toyota, was after hours and was done under false pretenses. The lights were off at the dealership and the car entered through a side door of the facility, not at the entrance where every service vehicle enters. The former employee told our overnight cleaning service he was authorized to be in the dealership at this time. No paperwork or verbal approval was given for the employee to be onsite at this time.According to [redacted]'s written statement, this work was done as a "favor to his cousin" and was without the authorization or approval of Central City Toyota. The work was done after hours and off the clock. [redacted] looked at the car and told [redacted] what parts to purchase to repair her brake System outside of any Company approved system. [redacted] did not purchase the parts at Central City Toyota and no money was exchanged. [redacted] made [redacted] aware of the issues he found and [redacted] authorized [redacted] to perform the work he suggested, again without the knowledge or permission of Central City Toyota.Once Central City Toyota was made aware of the situation, Central City Toyota made arrangements for the car to be towed back to the dealership at no cost. [redacted] was addressed by Central City Toyota for violating Company policy. A Toyota certified master technician assessed the car to determine the issue with the brakes. We went over the findings with [redacted] and made her aware of the cost of the repairs. We also made sure [redacted] was aware that the 2003 [redacted] had been out of inspection since December 2015. [redacted] declined to have any of the repairs made and requested her vehicle be towed back to the address she provided.[redacted] did not pay for any repairs, adjustments or work to be completed at Central City Toyota. Former Central City Toyota employee [redacted] states in his statement that the work was done without company authorization and under false pretenses to assist a family member.Jamie HGeneral Manager

Regarding ID [redacted], M& B Automotive Group (dba: Central
City Toyota) and customer [redacted].
Although the vehicle that [redacted] purchased was sold
as-is we have extended several good will repairs in an effort to keep a happy
customer. The vehicle is available for her to pick up. The battery was replaced
at no cost to [redacted]. Furthermore, [redacted] received a $500 catalytic
convertor for free, a new battery and free labor for a thermostat.
Additionally, [redacted] was given the option to trade out of the vehicle and
declined that assistance.  Sales Manager Ted D[redacted] did speak with her
and let her know on 03/08/16. The vehicle has been titled in her name and sold
as-is. Given that fact we are not in a position to simply refund her money.

They are charging me for breaks and rotors they were supposed to fix in January when I paid 358$ to have them fixed. They cut my rotors instead of replacing them and charged me for the parts. Now after having my breaks go on me six months later and being charged full price again I'm having an issue with the service. You can't charge people for things you don't do correctly. I feel they knew my cars breaks and rotors as a whole were in bad shape. And only repaired enough for the car to stop making noise. After almost loosing my life in a car they said to be ok rubs me the wrong way about there business.
