customer and apologized for the lack of response to his inquiries and told him Toyota Marin would make good on the refund guarantee.
Mailed him refund check $1085 on 2-10-15. Called to tell him it's on its way. He was satisfied & very helpful in identifying who at dealership had not been responsive, so top level management can follow up to fix the process that failed.

We let our customers know that the number one reason that car loans default is because the vehicle breaks down before the consumer has finished paying the note. Most of our customers find it easier to pay slightly more on a monthly basis to have their vehicle fully protected, as opposed to the alternative, which would be to potentially have to pay a large ($1,000 or more) repair bill as well as a car loan. In that situation, many customers wind up choosing to slow pay their finance company so they can repair the vehicle, which can lead to poor credit and ultimately repossession.
Regarding the refinancing, we always recommend to someone paying a high interest rate that they pursue refinancing after making at least 12 consecutive payments. Unfortunately, many factors may affect whether the loan can, in fact, be refinanced - e.g., how many miles were driven (which will affect the Kelley Blue Book value), whether all payments were made on time, whether there were any additional derogatory items added to the credit record, current credit rating, the customer's monthly income to debt ratio's, the specific lending institution applied at, and more. Unfortunately, in this specific instance, the [redacted]'s never contacted anyone at Toyota Marin to assist them in re-financing their vehicle.
The [redacted]'s can cancel the balance of their extended service contract and have the (pro rata) refund applied toward their open auto loan, which will help lower their loan to value percentage. The exact amount of the refund will depend upon the exact mileage of the Rav4 at the time of cancellation.
Additionally, as a goodwill gesture, Toyota Marin will be sending the [redacted]'s a check for $250, in addition to a check for a full tank of gas ($65).

We are pleased to hear the response from the management of Toyota of Marin. We do feel that the terms you have offered show reasonable understanding, which would make us fill valued as customers, and as people. Once we receive their check we will be updating any reviews that we have posted on any consumer forums to reflect our appreciation of the terms.

In August 2015 I hired Fertile Green Solutions to cut my yard, weed eat, and edge because I am unable to do so due to recent back surgery. The owner of the company returned my call and said that he would be here to take care of my yard on the morning of Wednesday, August 12. Without ever calling, he didn't show up until nearly dark on the evening of Thursday, August 13. He did not complete the task because it became dark and promised that he would return the next day, but ask that I give him a check for $200 that night. Again, he did not call and did not show up. After a week, I found his webpage and Facebook pages. There wasn't a place on the webpage to contact them so I left a message on the Facebook page. After several weeks, he finally replied on September 9 claiming that he didn't know who I was and that he had never done business with me. I provided a copy of the cancelled check and he quickly changed his story showing up on my doorstep after 8 PM that evening. He said he wanted to make things right and would be by my house either Thursday or Friday (10-11 Sep). Again, no show. I called on 14 Sep. He said he'd be by this afternoon. I got a call from his wife at 4:30pm claiming he didn't have his trailer so he couldn't come. Every time I talk with them there is some excuse (we've been busy, I've been sick, my trailer broke down, etc). Business does not take responsibility for its actions (or lack thereof) and doesn't do the work it is hired to do. Desire no further contact by the business.
I just want others to know that this is not a reputable lawn maintenance company so that others aren't burned by this company the way that I was.

I hired Fertile green to install a full lawn irrigation system and lay down sod and grade ... Everything I wanted was done in a timely manner and completed . I cant stop staring at my new lawn . Thank you Fertile green I will re-hire!!!
