Scam
Someone called me from this company and claimed that I was chosen as on of the top doctors in America. She told me I was chosen based on my credentials as I have three master degrees and dual board certified.
She promised to send me a plaque stating that I'm of the top dentists in America in addition to a publication that is the only publication in the USA that has the right to issue such a certificate. I asked her if that is the top doctors' list we find on airplanes publications and she said yes.
She told me all I have to pay is the expense of the publication and the plaque and I paid instantly $599.75.
Today I received the plaque that said Has been selected as an honored member of Trademark who's who honors edition 2021.
This Plaque is meaningless. It is a shame to have such a scam in my office. All she told me over the phone was deceiving and misleading if it wasn't straight lies.

***BEWARE***
I recently received a TOP Doctor award and it was a total ploy to get me to fork over hundreds of dollars for a plague, book and free airline tickets. They build you up to feel so good about your achievement while they have you on the phone. When you research it online more, you find out that its completely fictitious and they never contacted anyone to vet you. They are so uplifting and nice when they reach you, but when you try and cancel and get your money back, good luck! A month has gone by and nothing, they won't refund you, they don't answer your calls and when they call it's borderline harassing. The fact is, you didn't win anything, you lost your money. Awards shouldn't have to be paid for. Hopefully, some governmental agency in South Carolina will stop them for this scheme.

In regards to this specific inquiry I will now respondThe person who made the complaint [redacted] was not the intended member, she is or was an employee of the Doctors officeThe person who filled out the application and submitted it to our office was in fact the DoctorHis name was Dr [redacted] ** [redacted] Please take into consideration even he did not see a reason to submit a complaintThe complaint was stressing that our company was "harassing" Dr [redacted] officeI feel as though if Dr [redacted] felt that way he would have issued the complaint himselfNow with that said I do understand that [redacted] was upset and felt bothered or harassed by our office calling to reach out to Dr [redacted] At the bottom of the application that Dr [redacted] filled out and sent back to our office there is a space for his signatureBelow the signature it sates clearly "All correspondence I receive about this inquiry including this form has my full and complete authorization."This gives my company authorization to reach out to Dr [redacted] via phone to finalize his inclusion in the Top Doctors Honors Edition of the Trademark Who's WhoOur company only places one call per day until we reach the personWe do not call more than one time per dayIf the person is not available we simply ask to leave a message to have the person call us back as soon as they are able to speakIn this case, [redacted] simply got tired of taking the messages and became upset [redacted] said in her complaint to you that we called and said Dr [redacted] "was selected as a "Top Physician" for something or other" those were her exact words to you, which only proves my point that she wasn't taking the message and giving it to the doctor properly, hence he wasn't calling back because had he known it was regarding the actual form he filled out and signed and sent back to us, I believe he may have been more inclined to call backI also told [redacted] multiple times that I do understand that Dr [redacted] is extremely busy and the fact that he was a GOOD Doctor as she stated was in part one of the reasons why we chose himAll I asked her to do was to please take a message and have him call me when he couldI was not expecting her to pull him out of a room nor had I ever asked for anything like that.In this excerpt from her complaint she states : "At this point you can tell it's a scam because they don't seem to understand that a GOOD physician doesn't have leisure time" saying May I ask how does this confirm any type of scam? There is no scam to be hadWhat is she referring to? "its a scam'? what exactly is "it" and what makes "it" a scam? She is stating that because the Drdoesn't have time to come to the phone because he doesn't have leisure time, then "it" must be a scam?? Her statement is not fact, it is 100% opinionAs a business owner this type of gross misuse of the word "scam" can impact a company's reputation significantly and I ask you to please take a long hard look at what shes saing here, with also keeping in mind she simply works there and was not the intended person of contactShe also stated : "Again, I offered to help and a " [redacted] " (The Supervisor, according to her) said she can only speak to our physician."She did offer to help me and I explained to her we have a COMPANY POLICY to only speak to the member, because of the level of the honorWe need to speak directly to our members and make sure that the information we publish comes directly form them and that they are happy with itI did also express to her that I am the supervisor, because I amI believe you now understand I am the supervisor, as I am the owner of the companyShe also stated: "I politely asked her to remove my physician from the "award/list" and she refuses."She did say "take us off your list", again assuming that this was a cold call, not listening to the fact that the Dragain filled out the form and signed it and when I explained to give everyone the same and proper consideration I would not just remove his information because a third party asked me to*That would be a breech of privacy for the member to discuss their information with anyone, weather it was about the persons information or removing their file, it simply is something we must speak to the member aboutThat is the only reason I stated to her that I could not remove it, not that I wouldn'tI couldn'tWhen I suggested the Drhas to have a lunchtime or some downtime to just speak to me briefly I was only making suggestions to try and helpWe will sometimes stay late to accommodate members and get things done for them to work around their schedulesI had no problem staying late to try and get this done for him if that's what he would have wanted but she took everything I was saying the wrong wayAnd in regards to her "checking online and seeing a plethora of complaints about "Who's Who", that doesn't mean it was Trademark Who's WhoThere are multiple organizations with "Who's Who" in the title Based on the information I have provided to you I truly hope you can take a look at the big picture and truly understand my feeling on this complaintAnd quite honestly how I feel doesn't even matterWas it insulting and mean what she wrote yes of course, but more importantly it simply was not the truthThis complain is not validThe Dr.'s information was removed from my file based on the correspondence with ***All though we expect the doctors honored in the Top Doctors Honors edition to maintain a high peer rating and good reputation, how their office staff treats people is a factorBased on our correspondence with this office the information was removed and no future calls have been or will be made Please understand how important our reputation is to us here at Trademark Who's WhoWe have thousands of happy members and work diligently each day to maintain our standards and provide the highest level of member satisfactionIn the real world we understand as you can as well I sure understand that we could never have 100% member satisfaction, in all honesty we know you cant simply please everyone, but I can assure you we certainly have more happy satisfied members than notI believe we have only had a small handful of complaints in over yearsWe will maintain our reputation and do our best to resolve every and any issue that may come up because we care sincerely about our membersWe hope that this letter serves as a sufficient response and if you have any further questions or concerns you may reach me at any time via email and or phoneJulie Gregory, Executive DirectorTrademark Who's WhoSaint Mark RoadTaylors, South Carolina 29687General Office 864-603-

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint As stated to her I filled out the form on behalf of [redacted] because I had believed "Who's Who" was an accredited institutionI asked him to sign but I was to deal with any phone calls regarding this matterMost physicians don't have free time to sign up for something like this because they are busy with patientsOur physician had no desire to talk with anyone from "Who's Who", which should have been accepted but we were pushed to get him on the phone so that he could say it himselfI delegate his messages but [redacted] refused to believe me or "couldn't due to company policy"After research and reviewing various complaints, I felt I should let others know that this company is a scam because of the harassing phone callsI am a manager in this practice so I don't take messagesI did not get tired of taking messages, my front staff got tired of dealing with [redacted] because they were complaining about her attitude and the redundancy of the phone callsThey no longer wanted to answer her phone calls because they said she was harassing themAfter receiving this complaint from our front staff, I stepped in to talk to [redacted] to explainI agree with my staff after dealing with Ms [redacted] herself. They also said the calls while the calls were only once a day, it was once a day every work dayIn a business that should deal with patients, hospitals, and home health facilities, this becomes a disruption to our work environmentIt was especially irritating because we had explained Dr [redacted] does not take phone calls about anything that isn't regarding our patientsThat is our company policyOur priority is our patients not taking away valuable time from our physiciansAs [redacted] states, "how their office staff treats people is a factor." This should be a factor in her business as wellWe were treated rudely various timesWe asked for the phone calls to stopThe only time they stopped is when I sent in this complaint to Revdex.comI think other businesses should be wary about this companyI appreciate being removed from this list but do not appreciate what [redacted] is inferring about our staff.I also found that we were not the only ones to say similar things about this company and Ms [redacted] I only wish I had looked up complaints about Who's Who before filling out a form for our physician to sign Regards, [redacted]

I wanted to let you know I got your messages I was out of the office all last weekI just spoke to MsW [redacted] this morningHer refund check was in fact issued and sent, however it was returned to our officeIve made a new label and will be resending it out again todayThe check number for the refund is MsW [redacted] said she would be in touch with you or if you would like you can contact her to confirm this solutionIf you need anything further please do not hesitate to contact me any timeJ***

Regards,
D*** M***This company IS trying to sell something. It's a membership for some book. They keep talking about "inclusion" but that is invalid as DrM*** never signed up for anything. That's not his signature on the attachment they sent. Additionally, they just attached the signature and his information. Why? Why not be honest in your business practices by producing the entire document so we can see exactly what we are dealing with? It's an extremely unprofessional and underhanded way of doing business. Look, the facts are that Trademark called our office incessantly for over a week until yesterday, when I finally asked them politely to take us off their list and to stop calling. They said they would not stop calling. After I hung up, they immediately called back. They were extremely rude and argumentative. I decided to file a complaint so that other businesses can read this and decide for themselves whether or not they want to do business with this company. All I want out of this is to never be contacted by this company ever again and to let people know about the experience I had

So far, I have not received a refund. My call history showed a call from them but no message. I will check again, but it looks like no refund and nothing from them. Thank you for your assistance in this regard

After a review of our records the refund was scheduled to be processed however it was not processed due to an error in corresponding to the memberDr*** was emailed to verify the payment information to issue the refund to We believe due to a simple communication error this was overlooked
Thank you for bringing it to our attentionThe members credit card could not be credited because the system does not allow refunds on orders over a year oldHowever to resolve the issue what we have done is issue a refund check, the check was mailed August 30, and the check number is #*** The refund authorization number for the transaction is ***The tracking information for the envelpoe was via the United States Postal Service and is ***We hope this resolves the issue and if there are any other questions or conserns please feel free to contact our office as soon as possibleThank you

Dear Ms***, I acknowledge *** concerns and have stated the facts to youThe original request that *** made to resolve this was for the calls to stop and for us to remove his information, we have complied with the request to do soAs per the first letter sent, we have complied with ***'s first requestWe wish *** and the Doctor continued success and apologize for any inconvenience. Trademark Who's Who

Good morning, I have attached the response to the complaint belowI have also emailed the same copy to the person who made the complaint as they emailed us as wellIve also attached the form that MsM*** filled outIf you need anything further from us please do not hesitate to let us
know. Thank you. Good morning,First of all I sincerely apologize for the frustration you are feelingMy goal is to resolve this and help youI have spoken to the representative and have addressed the call she made to your officeThe representative C*** did not give a specific date or time as to when the information was submitted because it was not dated at the time it was filled out. I assure you it was not over a year agoAfter speaking to her and trying to understand what she was intending to say to you, she meant it may have been a few months ago, which being that it is February a few months ago was in fact last yearI am certain after speaking with her about this that is what she meantI have spoken to her to clarify how that may be misunderstood and I have made sure this will not happen againI apologize for any mis- communicationOur vetting process does take several monthsOur organization does not just add individuals who send back the form immediately as that would compromise our integrity and add no value. We do in fact vet the members and the process can be time consuming, however we feel it best to always do our du-diligence when selecting professional for inclusion to make sure the people who are most deserving are the ones who make the cutI have attached the copy of the form that was filled outAfter carefully looking at it, the signature at the bottom seems to be of Ms. M*** the person who initiated this complaintI understand she filled the information and perhaps did not tell the doctorThat has been my experience in most cases when someone else fills the information out but does not tell the person, normally it is intended as a surpriseThe information has been removed as you requestedThere will be no more calls made to your officeHave a nice day

This is the second time this complaint has been sent. It is a duplicate. The information Ms. R[redacted] expressed is not all correct or true. The refund check has been issued and cashed. Please remove this because it is a duplicate complaint.

We have been in touch with this member since this complaint was filed. All emails and phone calls are returned in a timely matter. It was discoverd after research that the wrong address information was in our system. There was in fact a delay in shipment and a refund was issued to the member. ...

I wanted to let you know I got your 3 messages I was out of the office all last week. I just spoke to Ms. W[redacted] this morning. Her refund check was in fact issued and sent, however it was returned to our office. Ive made a new label and will be resending it out again today. The check number for the refund is 07228. Ms. W[redacted] said she would be in touch with you or if you would like you can contact her to confirm this solution. If you need anything further please do not hesitate to contact me any time. J[redacted]

In regards to this specific inquiry I will now respond. The person who made the complaint [redacted] was not the intended member, she is or was an employee of the Doctors office. The person who filled out the application and submitted it to our office was in fact the Doctor. His name was Dr. [redacted]...

[redacted]. Please take into consideration even he did not see a reason to submit a complaint. The complaint was stressing that our company was "harassing" Dr. [redacted] office. I feel as though if Dr. [redacted] felt that way he would have issued the complaint himself. Now with that said I do understand that [redacted] was upset and felt bothered or harassed by our office calling to reach out to Dr. [redacted]. At the bottom of the application that Dr. [redacted] filled out and sent back to our office there is a space for his signature. Below the signature it sates clearly "All correspondence I receive about this inquiry including this form has my full and complete authorization."This gives my company authorization to reach out to Dr. [redacted] via phone to finalize his inclusion in the Top Doctors Honors Edition of the Trademark Who's Who. Our company only places one call per day until we reach the person. We do not call more than one time per day. If the person is not available we simply ask to leave a message to have the person call us back as soon as they are able to speak. In this case, [redacted] simply got tired of taking the messages and became upset. [redacted] said in her complaint to you that we called and said Dr. [redacted] "was selected as a "Top Physician" for something or other" those were her exact words to you, which only proves my point that she wasn't taking the message and giving it to the doctor properly, hence he wasn't calling back because had he known it was regarding the actual form he filled out and signed and sent back to us, I believe he may have been more inclined to call back. I also told [redacted] multiple times that I do understand that Dr. [redacted] is extremely busy and the fact that he was a GOOD Doctor as she stated was in part one of the reasons why we chose him. All I asked her to do was to please take a message and have him call me when he could. I was not expecting her to pull him out of a room nor had I ever asked for anything like that.In this excerpt from her complaint she states : "At this point you can tell it's a scam because they don't seem to understand that a GOOD physician doesn't have leisure time" saying May I ask how does this confirm any type of scam? There is no scam to be had. What is she referring to?  "its a scam'? what exactly is "it" and what makes "it" a scam? She is stating that because the Dr. doesn't have time to come to the phone because he doesn't have leisure time, then "it" must be a scam?? Her statement is not fact, it is 100% opinion. As a business owner this type of gross misuse of the word "scam" can impact a company's reputation significantly and I ask you to please take a long hard look at what shes saing here, with also keeping in mind she simply works there and was not the intended person of contact. She also stated : "Again, I offered to help and a "[redacted]" (The Supervisor, according to her) said she can only speak to our physician."She did offer to help me and I explained to her we have a COMPANY POLICY to only speak to the member, because of the level of the honor. We need to speak directly to our members and make sure that the information we publish comes directly form them and that they are happy with it. I did also express to her that I am the supervisor, because I am. I believe you now understand I am the supervisor, as I am the owner of the company. She also stated: "I politely asked her to remove my physician from the "award/list" and she refuses."She did say "take us off your list", again assuming that this was a cold call, not listening to the fact that the Dr. again filled out the form and signed it and when I explained to give everyone the same and proper consideration I would not just remove his information because a third party asked me to. *That would be a breech of privacy for the member to discuss their information with anyone, weather it was about the persons information or removing their file, it simply is something we must speak to the member about. That is the only reason I stated to her that I could not remove it, not that I wouldn't. I couldn't. When I suggested the Dr. has to have a lunchtime or some downtime to just speak to me briefly I was only making suggestions to try and help. We will sometimes stay late to accommodate members and get things done for them to work around their schedules. I had no problem staying late to try and get this done for him if that's what he would have wanted but she took everything I was saying the wrong way. And in regards to her "checking online and seeing a plethora of complaints about "Who's Who", that doesn't mean it was Trademark Who's Who. There are multiple organizations with "Who's Who" in the title.  Based on the information I have provided to  you I truly hope you can take a look at the big picture and truly understand my feeling on this complaint. And quite honestly how I feel doesn't even matter. Was it insulting and mean what she wrote yes of course, but more importantly it simply was not the truth. This complain is not valid. The Dr.'s information was removed from my file based on the correspondence with [redacted]. All though we expect the doctors honored in the Top Doctors Honors edition to maintain a high peer rating and good reputation, how their office staff treats people is a factor. Based on our correspondence with this office the information was removed and no future calls have been or will be made.   Please understand how important our reputation is to us here at Trademark Who's Who. We have thousands of happy members and work diligently each day to maintain our standards and provide the highest level of member satisfaction. In the real world we understand as you can as well I sure understand that we could never have 100% member satisfaction, in all honesty we know you cant simply please everyone, but I can assure you we certainly have more happy satisfied members than not. I believe we have only had a small handful of complaints in over 10 years. We will maintain our reputation and do our best to resolve every and any issue that may come up because we care sincerely about our members. We hope that this letter serves as a sufficient response and if you have any further questions or concerns you may reach me at any time via email and or phone. Julie Gregory, Executive DirectorTrademark Who's Who62 Saint Mark RoadTaylors, South Carolina 29687General Office 864-603-1785

Good Morning,  In response to the complaint below, the company's response is as follows. I've taken the liberty to break down the complaint and respond to it to give the best most clear factual response. "This company keeps calling and calling and insisting on talking with our doctor regarding...

something they say he signed up for." Yes that is correct. Dr. M[redacted] filled out the application requesting to be considered for inclusion. *Please see the attached form I've provided with his handwriting and signature.  When the representative from Dr. M[redacted]'s office said “They keep trying to speak to him, and I keep telling them that isn't going to happen and that he never signed up for anything. - This is true. The Doctor was selected based on our research which was initiated by the form he sent in requesting inclusion and per our privacy policy, we need to speak to the member directly. Our company only called once per day for a few days and if the doctor was  not available, we simply asked to leave a message at which time the office representative refused and started getting very upset and said “its not happening” and slamming the phone down on the representative. It is also a representation of the doctors office to have someone speak so negatively. I assume the office staff deal with a lot of solicitation calls and we tried to explain several times that this was not a solicitation and that in fact t he Dr. filled out the form and sent it back and that is why we were contacting him to let him know he was going to be included, not to sell anything. When the doctors representative says I asked them to please take us off their calling list, and they said they don't have a calling list and that they are going to keep calling. - This is half true, the office person did ask us to take him off our list. But again I tried to explain there is no list, that this was something the doctor filled out but since he is busy he could have forgotten. I did not say I would just keep calling. I said it was our policy to speak directly to the member for their privacy and asked the office representative to please take my number and ask the Dr. to call me when he had a chance and that I understood how busy he is because I deal with busy people all the time. Please also take into consideration the person making this complaint is not the member of our organization. It would be the same as someone complaining about the food at a restaurant they never ate from. We offered to send a copy of the form he filled out so she could show him to jog his memory but the representative from the doctors office hung up on the representative that was trying to reach him, that is when Julie the supervisor reached out and called one time to try and fix the situation. I do not know what this person's past experience as a phone representative has an to do with her complaint? We have a long standing history of honesty and integrity. We have thousands of happy members who benefit from networking and our organization. Based on the telephone conversation with the representative the application for the doctor has been removed and the reason code is “unreachable” due to the request of the office staff. No further attempts to contact the member will be made. If he chooses to reach out to us we will be happy to reconsider his inclusion. * Also and this is very important, this person filed this as a “SALES” issue, this person is not a customer, and has never purchased anything from our company. I am formally requesting that you help us with this because how can someone say they have a “sales issue” but they never purchased anything? If you need anything further please do not hesitate to reach out to me any time. Thank you!
