I would find it extremely hard to accept the response of DonegalThere are currently homes on my street and neighboring streets that are being repaired from same damage from hail stormDonegal already admit that I have damage, but chose to ignore my roofIf hail damaged everything attached to my house and roof , how can my roof be free from damageAs of today 11/10/I had another contractor come to survey my roof and he says NO WAY that they can say no damageHe is in the process of trying to get them to come back out to property and review it with himSo far no luckHe also stated there is no algae growth on my roof like the the picture from Donegal I have other pictures of damage on my roof, but Donegal is trying to say from age of roofRegardless of age, the roof was damaged and they will not honor repairsSo my question remains , how many independent reviews of my roof must I keep getting to prove to Donegal that it warrants repairI feel that the first adjuster ,had hand chosen his engineer to rebuff my first review, I tried to get another adjuster to come out and give me a fair assessment after the first adjuster denied my claim I could NOT get another adjuster from same office to come out The first adjuster took it upon himself to stop that,the other adjuster told me he had talked to the first adjuster and would not be coming outSo how am I to feel that they reviewed my claim fairlyIs it not my right to request another review from someone in that office Clearly they have bias on this situation, and may I also add that I have never filed a claim with them til nowif damage to ridge vent located on center of roof at peak was dented all overthe flashing around my chimney vent which is wrapping brick is dentedthe flashing around my windows which is wrapping around wood is dented the downspouts which are vertical are dented the gutters are dented which are horizontal with roof are dented How can such force which is seen in listed above and on shingles ( which they deny shingles ) have damageHow can this just be ignored ?Do I need to go to small claims .Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] ***

January 5, 2016Dear [redacted] ,This letter will serve as Southern Insurance Coof Virginia's response to the referenced complaintThis complaint was received in our Duluth, GA claims office on December 28, 2015.Our first notice of this claim was on September 4, Our first contact with the complainant was on September 8, An assignment was made to an independent adjuster who was able to inspect the loss location on September 14, with the complainantPhotos were taken and damages believed to be related to our insured’s work were noted in the garage area near the water treatment device and in a room opposite of the garage wallThere is evidence of water damage to a section of subflooring and floor joists under the previously mentioned room opposite of the garage wallThe crawlspace under the home was inspected and photographedDamages believed to be unrelated were noted and include water on plastic vapor barrier which appeared to be positioned under ductworkWater or condensation appears to have been dripping from the ductworkPhotos show portions of the ductwork covered with duct tapePhotos of the front foundation wall, not in close proximity to the water system, show signs of long term water exposureIt is noted there are two sump pumps to service this crawl spaceThe complainant has acknowledged the presence of these unrelated issues.Southern Insurance Coof Virginia wishes to reach a resolution to this claim on behalf of our named insured for damages caused by their workWe acknowledge receipt of a repair estimate? submitted by the complainant that totals $13,We believe this estimate includes repair and or remediation work unrelated to damages alleged to have been caused by our insured's workWe have suggested a re-inspection so that our independent adjuster can view all the damages with a contractor the complainant choosesWe believe we can then work towards an agreement to pay for damages related to our insured’s work.If you have any questions I can be reached at ###-###-####, ext***.Sincerely,Greg L.AIC Supervisor

I am rejecting this response because: I was contacted by Donegal Insurance they wanted to come to our home again. We told them they could come out however we have no idea what they are wanting to see that they didn't see the first time as they have photos of the damageAgain they have the estimates and all contact information for the contractors involved which after talking with contractors they told us they have never been contacted by the Donegal Insurance GroupWe have tried to work with Donegal Insurance Group with no success we can not settle and will not settle for less than it will cost to repair our home to its original condition before their client they insured came in and destroyed our homeWe are waiting to hear back from the Donegal Insurance GroupAgain if I were a business owner paying premiums to a Insurance company to protect my customers and I would not want my customers treated in such a way as we have beenOur home should of been repaired many months ago
