Thank you guys so much for taking care of my Honda Accord. After going through another mechanic and having a horrible experience, these guys were able to do justice to my car and bring it back to life. Bob personally called me every day to update me and let me know exactly what is going on with my vehicle. I handed my car in Monday, I was updated on Monday evening and Tuesday, and the car was ready by Wednesday. These guys went above and beyond at a very fair price and were even able to fix my broken odometer for no extra charge. I can't thank them enough for their help and I will be sending my referrals over!

Review: I seen their ad on [redacted] , stating that they have rebuilt transmissions. I bought a transmission that they had for $700 cash. I drove from[redacted] to[redacted]. I gave them my core and left. I got home and installed the "new " transmission with all the upgrades. I drove it 15 miles and it worked like brand new. After that it started to shift hard, not shift and slip. I called them and at first they talked to me like they was gong to help me. They told me that they would pay shipping to them. They gave me a name and a number to a shipper. I called and went to set the shipping up and they told me that before they picked the trans up they needed payment. I have called over and over as well as texting them. No response. I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: I paid 700 dollars cash for the transmission. then I had to pay 600 for the labor to get it in and out for the new one to be placed in the truck. I also had to pay 1600 for the other transmission. I would like them to pay the 700 back and the 600 for labor that I should not have to pay.

Review: We bought a transmission from Transmission King the phone number is [redacted] you can look at our phone records we have called and called and called we have gotten two answered calls both saying he would do something about it he would tell us call back on this date this time and I'll have a confirmation that I'm shipping you a transmission weeks months later still never received transmission try calling tried getting confirmation number No answer all we wanted to do was either get our money back because we had to go get another transmission because we couldn't afford to let a vehicle sit for a customer also if he wasn't going to give us the money back when we just like to have another good transmission he will not go through with I have tried calling again today no answer I have given him my name my address my phone number my business name and still no call no nothing this is [redacted] with [redacted]Desired Settlement: Would like to get my money back or a new transmission also the first Transmissions that he did get us was the wrong one so we had to drive from [redacted] backup to [redacted] to get the second one that was no good

Review: I bought a transmission from them and it was no good, slipped terribly, he said send it back and he would send me another one and that he would take care of the shipping charges, he did not pay the shipping like he said, I have received a bill from [redacted] for $187.64 and I called to verify that he was supposed to pay this and they say he said send the bill to me. I received the next transmission and it wouldn't shift into overdrive and it eventually started slipping also, he blames it on the detent cable kit I bought from summit that is designed to work for this application, now he has gotten rude and has made harsh remarks about me and the mechanic that did the install. he has called both of us backyard mechanics and say the shop I used should stick to oil changes not real mechanic work, says because he owns a toobox and a set of shop rags that doesn't make him a mechanic.Desired Settlement: I do want him to pay the shipping that he promised to pay and after that I want nothing more to do with him.

I purchased a transmission from Transmission Kings/Broad St. Auto/ 5 Star Transmissions located at [redacted]. in Richmond Va. and received the wrong one. The one I ordered went to a place in Ca. I was told that because of their mistake THAT THEY WOULD PAY FOR SHIPPING which was a $150. charge I DID NOT GET THAT CREDIT. When I did the correct trasmission I had my mechanic install it and during the install he had notified me that the Transmission looked like it had not been rebuilt after noticing some red flags. He installed it and the transmission made a horrible grinding noise coming from it. I called the buisiness and talked to a Lloyd H[redacted] and he immediatley told me that it sounded like a torque convertor issue, and guess what, he said that this part was not covered under their warranty. I purchased this torque convertor from them too. He explained to me that the torque convertor was not part of the transmission and therfore he could nt do nothing for me. After a few more conversations with him he had tried blaming my mechanic saying that he didnt have the TV cable adjusted properly. Trying everything to avoid a warranty claim. I insisted on a refund and he agreed on a refund of monies once he had recieved the transmission back to his shop. So I sent the transmission back to their shop. Their shop recieved my transmission on March 13 2015 and Lloyd H[redacted] still has not given me no credit or any monies to this date (8-23-2015). SO HE KEPT MY TRANSMISSION ALL MY MONEY TOO! As of today they owe me $850 for trans and convertor, $150 shipping, shipping cost back to them of $178.79. This does not cover what I paid my mechanic to install it and remove it! I URGE ANYONE THAT HAS BEEN SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY TO CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERALOF RICHMOND VA. AND FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THEM.

NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I ordered a 4l60e from them. when I got it I brought it to a very reputablt tranny shop in my area. my guy said he was DISGUSTED by the way it looked. said it looked like he found it in a junkyard painted it and sold it. not to metion it had the wrong filter in it wich would have killed it as soon as it started to run. these guys are the biggest scam going. I want to bring this thugs "buisness" to the ground because im out about 2500$ that I dont have in the first place. yea you can pay to send it back and pay for them to ship you anouther one but who kno0ws what the hell your going to get. I strongly urge NOONE does busness with these clowns.
