We rent mailing lists compiled from various sources using demographic, geographic and psychographic filters to target affluent consumer who like to travel and also match our best consumer model. we approach this audience with offers of highly valuable prizes and gifts to compensate them for their time to listen to our spiel about the benefits of our products and services.

Review: I sent this company a letter requesting a refund of $4,000.00 - goldrush getaways misrepresented service and product.

March 30th my husband and myself attended the seminar, the speaker led us to believe and promised access, good pricing and commissions back. We have attempted numerous times to book

a trip, so over a period of six months, many phone calls and trying go on line and get information we needed. We finally received a quote for our trip to Hawaii, and I proceded to give Goldrush a credit card number and was told I have to go on line and get a form from Bluesky tours and after I receive the form I fill it out and fax it to Goldrush, at that time I was upset, we want our money back. The Service is not easy. It is very time consuming and the pricing and commission are not what they had been promised. My husband and myself want a full refund.Desired Settlement: We want the full amount refunded and the yearly fee of $ 149.00 dropped. We do not want anything else to do with Goldrush Getaways

Initial Business Response

I am sorry. I am at a loss. we have no letter on file. This is the first we have heard of the [redacted] dissatisfaction. If they will contact the office in writing or in person we will address her issues. We cannot fix it if we don't know about it.

Final Consumer Response

Final Business Response

On or about 01OCT13, received a call from Mrs. [redacted] per our request to have her contact the office(in our response to Revdex.com of 25SEP13). Mrs. [redacted] spoke to [redacted] (not [redacted]) in member services. Mrs. [redacted] maintained she sent a certified letter but was unable to supply a tracking number for the certified letter. NOt being privy to the contents of the letter makes it a challenge to respond in a thoughtful manner.

I, personally, checked with all board members. No one in company received a certified letter from the Andrades. In the course of the conversation with [redacted] (not [redacted]) Mrs. [redacted] backtracked and indicated she sent the letter to an employee's email address who is no longer with the company. We did locate the letter(not sent certified). The letter was received by email on 17SEP13 by Goldrush Getaways to an inactive email address. This is the same day that a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com (Hardly time to respond to a complaint).

We have reviewed the letter and responded to the consumer directly with a copy to the Revdex.com. We thank the Revdex.com for trying to facilitate a conversation. We find it hard to respond in an efficient manner when we are not given complete details. We continue to work toward a solution.
