First off this company gave a 1500.00$ estimate took the truck back then the price jumped to almost 2100.00$ I told them to go ahead and fix it after listening to [redacted] complain about how he had to make money to pay his bills seemed upset that we didn't opt for the 3500.00 repair bill truck was finally done after 4 days found they went ahead and did a oil change ( not needed ) didn't ask for it to be done This guy [redacted] yelled profanities and told me he was going to take his oil out of it was the eng oil I worked as a shop foreman never did that a customer

Transmission replaced in Nissan 2005 Murano from Canada. A recap of my experience is as follows:

I picked up the Murano from the [redacted] dealership in Mesa and their service and attention to detail was fabulous and no problems were encountered being this was a Canadian vehicle in a bad situation, the entire cost of the repair was billed to the Nissan manufacturer and resulted in no out of pocket expense for me other than the car rental... Which was also at a fabulous price!

I want to thank you very much for the diligence, time, effort and knowledge you and your team at Tri-City displayed regarding my 2005 Nissan Murano and the extended warranty pertaining to my vehicle. Seriously, I would have honestly never known about the Nissan warranty extension that was in place for the CVT transmission had you not made me aware and would have been happy to pay your shop for the repair. So you can image my delight when you offered up not only a diagnosis buy a solution that was at virtually no cost to me, however did result in a loss of business for you being warranty work had to be completed by a [redacted].

[redacted], My experience with Tri-City was OUTSTANDING and I will never forget how you helped turn an expensive situation into a delightful situation. You run a first rate operation starting with your well trained helpful staff, to the appearance of your well maintained and clean shop, however, your integrity and honesty put it over the top for me.

I don't know what else to say except that it has been an extreme pleasure to have done business with both you and the Tri-City staff I encountered....

Thank you very much for all your help! Also, thank you to [redacted] for recommending and sending me to such a stand up business as Tri-City.

Extremely satisfied...clean, friendly and trustworthy.

I took my Jeep to [redacted] at Tri-City for a very subtle and intermittent, but worrisome, transmission shifting problem. I knew it would be difficult to diagnose, and half expected that they would not be able to repair it.

[redacted]'s team was very thorough. They successfully diagnosed the problem after appreciable effort, and [redacted] was able to repair it and even got me a sizable price reduction by working with a Jeep dealer to get some of the repair covered under warranty. I was so pleased I had Tri-City do some other major work on the Jeep while they had it, which was also performed very well.

I was also impressed with [redacted]'s stand-out professionalism--exceptional in any business, and almost unheard of in auto repair.

My Volvo was driving clunky and I thought I was having transmission issues. When I took it to Tri-City Transmission they found a bad engine mount and said that the engine simply was not running right which proved to be true and was causing me to think I was having a transmission issue. I had them service my transmission and they recommended I install a different transmission cooler that they said would save me from having to buy a transmission down the road. An apparent issue with Volvo’s. I got a tune up on my car and they were right about what it was I was feeling. It was a great experience.

My first experience with Dave and his crew was with my daughters 2000 Dakota. She called me and said her truck was leaking water bad. I told her to park it and I'd come to her. her water pump was out, I filled it and drove it home, noticing along the way that it only had 2nd and 3 gear along with a check engine light. At home I put my code reader on it and it had trans solenoid codes that would not clear. I heard good things about tri city so I sent it to them, they checked it extensively and even changed some parts, and still couldn't restore normal function. They sent the truck to the dealer to have the ECM checked and it was sent back as OK, must be a wiring problem. Tri City kept me informed the whole time and eventually sent it home apologizing for not fixing it while telling me the tranny was good and charging me nothing for parts and labor. Knowing the effort expended, I tipped $100 to the guys that worked on it. In the mean time, I had them rebuild the manual tranny in my truck while it was down for a new clutch, (240k miles) while I manually OHM'ed every wire in the Dakota's engine harness, which checked OK. During all this time, my parents gave my wife and I a 95 S-10 with 250K+ miles on it that despite its miles was in pretty good shape. I started fixing all the little things that go wrong with a near 20 year old truck so my wife could park her full size gas guzzler. Nearing completion of final fixes my wife called and said the the tranny on it was slipping and she wasn't gonna make it home. I had Dave and the crew rebuild it too, excellent job! They even washed it and replaced a radio [redacted] that I went to three dealers looking for! Maybe I need to go to them for parts... In the end, I put a new ECM in the Dakota and all problems were solved,...so much for the dealer. If you have transmission anything, GO TO THESE GUYS!!! Coming from a guy with a friend that rebuilds trannys.

Thanks Dave and crew, sorry so long...

Tri-city Transmission built a toy hauler trans.for my 2003 F-350 superduty around a year ago. A couple days ago the trans seem to be slipping. I had it towed to Tri-city to be checked out. Turns out it was a bad electrical harness that controls the trans. (Which had nothing to do with the original rebuild they performed) Dave and his team replaced a bad pigtail in the harness at there own expense. It is rare to find this kind of honesty and integrity these days. That's why I would recommend Tri-city to anyone.
Thanks again to Dave R[redacted] and his team. [redacted]

I have an older SUV (1999 Ford Expedition) that I use to pull my 7,000+ pound trailer, roughly 6,000 miles a year. After many years of hard work the transmission gave out. I have dealt with many transmissions companies over the years, so I was concerned about finding the right transmission repair shop. [redacted] (I have been using them for many years for normal repairs) recommended Tri-City Transmission, and I am so glad that they did. Everyone I met and talked to was professional and talked straight without any transmission lingo. Even when they thought they were done, the owner did one last quality check and notified me that the transmission did not meet his high quality standards, and they tore it apart again and found another minor part that needed to be replaced. I am certain I would never have known of the faulty part and they could have saved some time by giving me a transmission with a minor problem. They communication was excellent, they called when they said they would call and provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. These folks have their act together. I would recommend them highly if you think you have transmission issues.

The entire experience was all focused on outstanding customer service. From the 1st call to make an appointment thru the after repair followup, these guys are amazing. My 2003 Mountaineer needed to have the transmission re-manufactured. They did it at the price they quoted and completed on time. The car was washed and ready to go when we picked it up. I highly recommend Tri-City Transmission.

I found Tri-City Tranmission online. I have a 2003 Mazda Protege5 with an automatic/standard tranmission. My regular mechanic suggested that I have the transmission checked, as he had replaced a wheel bearing, but the front end of the car was still making some noise.

I called Tri-City and made an appointment. When I arrived, they drove my car with me, having me identify the sound that I was concerned about. They also called my mechanic to find out what he had done and his assessment. They then did a complete diagnostic of the front end of car. It turned out the transmission was fine, but the motor mounts were cracked and beginning to break, as well as another wheel bearing. They quoted me a very good price, broke down exactly why everything cost what it did and I felt they gave me an honest price and diagnosed the problem accurately, as my car now hugs the road and sounds great!

The service was very friendly and everything was explained in detail. They even fixed a seatbelt in the back seat at no cost that had gotten some paint in it and I mentioned it didn't work anymore. They opened it up, cleaned it thoroughly and it works great now.

I would rate this business as honest, having an extremely high level of customer service and exceptional in its ability to diagnose problems. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and you as well.

I recently had my toyota camry towed to Tri City Transmission when it quit running on a busy street, later that day Tom contacted me said they would check it out next day, thinking the worst Tom informed me a retainer clip was missing on the cv axle (the axle pulled away from the transmission) Tom ordered the part and the technician installed it, I went to pickup car next day Tom informed there was no charge, I could not believe it! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tri City Transmission for their Customer Service and integrity plus what they charged me (nothing) I would recommend them to family and friends, once again Thank You

WOW! The staff at Tri-City is just plain awesome. I took my 2007 Tundra to (2) different dealerships who both told me the same thing "you HAVE to replace your transmission & your trans computer" and by the way it will cost about $6,000. I tried explaining that I'm no expert but I know its not the whole tranny, maybe just the computer. The dealership refused to sell me just a computer so I picked it up and took it to Tri-City. After a brief couple days the techs there diagnosed the problem as being a bad solenoid, that's it, just a bad solenoid for a few hundred bucks. Tri-city saved me over $5,000 in un-needed repairs. All due to the fact they took their time to actually diagnose the issue, not just plug in a laptop and say "well the code says new tranny & comp" they went the extra mile and have earned my transmission work for life.

Great customer service! [redacted] and his team are friendly and they do what they say they are going to do. The lobby and restroom are clean!

Great service! Thanks for getting me back on the road.

Our transmission was totally gone Our garage strongly recommended having TriCity transmissions repair it. They did a super job and had it done on schedule. We would recommend them to anyone who wants quality work at reasonable prices.

I recently replaced a transmission on 2006 German sedan at Tri-City. Everyone involved in the process at Tri-City was genuine and capable. Tom K. and Dave R. were both very personable and understood my objectives with the car. Their tone was always honest and, although I was presented with options for the repair, they never tried to oversell a thing. It is refreshing to know individuals with integrity still exist in business and most especially in the much maligned automobile repair environment. The shop’s competence was also evident. Because of their experience and knowledge, the car is fully repaired with no subsequent issues to date. And, if any do result, I am confident Dave and Tom will be there to make it right. Because of its integrity, honesty and competence, Tri-City has the standard for transmission repair.
